The Hamas massacre of October 7, 2023 — a day when thousands of Gazans crossed the border to slaughter Israeli civilians, rape women, burn children alive, and drag 250 people into captivity — is a date that should be remembered with grief and solemnity.
Yet in New York City, extremist groups such as Within Our Lifetime, Students for Justice in Palestine and Samidoun plan rallies on that anniversary to glorify the killers and call for an end to “Zionism” in what they call the “belly of the beast,” meaning America itself.
The “rally” was called a “Flood”, echoing Hamas’s term for the October 7 massacre, the “Al Aqsa Flood.” It includes a map of all of Israel claiming Israel’s 77 years of existence has been a “genocide” against Palestinians. It writes Israel with a lower case ‘i” meant as an insult to not recognize it, preferring to call it a “Zionist project.” The rally is a call to stand against “Zionism” and “honor the martyrs” who slaughtered people in Israel two years ago.
We make a clear and urgent appeal to governments and peoples committed to the liberation of the Palestinian people to adopt unequivocal and militant support for the cause of decolonisation. – Samidoun, October 2, 2025
This is not policy debate. It is a celebration of barbarity and a call to dismantle the Jewish homeland and undermine the United States. The chants and slogans echo the hate that fueled the October 7 pogrom.
Free Speech vs. Incitement to Violence
The United States protects free expression, even ugly and unpopular opinions. But it does not protect incitement to violence or material support for terrorist organizations. When demonstrations cross the line into praising terrorist acts or calling for attacks on Jews or Americans, the full weight of the law — from local police to federal agencies — must be ready to respond.
This year the anniversary falls during the Jewish festival of Sukkot, a holiday marked by public celebrations, outdoor meals, and large gatherings near synagogues and community centers. Those festivities will unfold in the shadow of these extremist rallies. That reality makes it all the more important for law-enforcement agencies to be highly visible and vigilant in keeping worshippers safe.
Standing Up for the Rule of Law
Calling to “globalize the Intifada” and praise the depraved Hamas “martyrs” feeds the chaos that violent extremists crave. What is needed is lawful, decisive enforcement:
Robust policing to protect Jewish neighborhoods, synagogues, sukkot gatherings, and counter-protesters.
Monitoring and prosecution of anyone who crosses into incitement or provides support to terrorist organizations.
Clear public messaging that celebrating mass murder is not political expression but moral depravity.
Bringing ICE (Immigration and Custom Enforcement) agents to arrest and deport non- citizens engaging in harassment and intimidation.
People can be denied a visa if they intimidate, harass or are considered security risks. These October 7 rallies will likely be causes for revoking visas.
A Moment of Moral Clarity
October 7 should be remembered as a day of horror, not a banner for hate. Those who glorify the massacre expose themselves as the heirs of past totalitarian movements — whether Nazi or jihadist — that brought suffering not only to Jews but to all who cherish freedom.
“Terrorism” is a colonial term that we refuse to accept in reference to the heroic Resistance. – Samidoun, October 2, 2025
The response to them must be unflinching: protect the vulnerable, prosecute the lawbreakers, and reaffirm that the United States will never be a haven for the celebration of terrorism.

The latest “Pro-Palestinian protest” at Columbia University, as liberal media likes to call it, included a series of chants to murder Jews and destroy the Jewish State.
Jewish students – almost all unmasked and sporting kaffiyehs to show solidarity with Gazan Arabs – chained themselves to Columbia’s gates and chanted to free Mahmoud Khalil and demanded the names of university trustees who handed over the names of students to the New York Police Department and federal immigration services.
It was a curious spectacle: Jewish students showed their faces as they demanded clarity regarding university due process and protections for fellow students, while students wearing masks for whom they were advocating, yelled antisemitic slogans as defined by the university.
If ever there was a group that took free speech arguments to the extreme, it is Jews that chain themselves to a fence to advocate for rights of students who despise them.
The Columbia chapters of Jewish Voice for Peace (JVP) and Students for Justice in Palestine (SJP) were suspended by the university on Nov. 10, 2023, after the groups “repeatedly violated University policies related to holding campus events.” That has not kept them from storming the gates of the university, partnering with not-soon-enough-designated-terrorist group WithinOurLifetime.
Columbia’s chapter of JVP was more explicit about violence “by any means necessary,” like the October 7 massacre.
Somewhere in the middle of the pro-Palestinian Jewish community at Columbia is J Street U, which is an officially recognized student group on the university’s undergraduate website. The group is worried about antisemitic incidents and chants of “Pro-Palestinian protesters” but also wants to protect their speech and keep them from getting kicked off campus without due process.
SJP appreciates that sentiment but demands more of Jews, specifically calling for the end of Israel. The Tufts chapter of SJP said “While SJP recognizes that many Jewish people begin their anti-zionist political journey through J Street U and appreciates that J Street U’s Tufts chapter agrees that antisemitism and anti-Zionism are not synonymous, it is crucial for students to refuse half-measures that condemn occupation while normalizing colonization.”
The Columbia and Barnard Hillel houses J Street U. The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) has called Hillel and other Jewish groups “enemies of the Muslim community” for supporting Israel. It is seemingly lockstep with SJP and JVP that only Jews that call for destroying Israel “by any means necessary” can be considered allies.
There is a spectrum of left-wing Jews at Columbia and Barnard, ranging from virulently anti-Zionist, to modestly pro-Israel. Many are pro-Israel too, although they tend to be more centrist and right-leaning. The vast majority are targets of the pro-Palestinian gang. All of them are being ranked on an Israel litmus test for judgement, like no other diaspora community in the world.
They are scared when praying in their synagogues, visiting Jewish community centers and when they go out to dine. They are scared when they walk on the street or attend classes at school.
In April 2024, the rabbi at Columbia University told the Jewish students to leave campus and return home in an email stating that the school’s policies “have made it clear that Columbia University’s Public Safety and the NYPD cannot guarantee Jewish students’ safety.” It has continued into the Fall 2024 semester, when another New York City school, CUNY’s Baruch College told Jewish students that they could not hold a Rosh Hashana celebration because the school could not “guarantee their security.”
New York Post article blasting the City University of New York being unable to protect basic Jewish human rights
The intimidation, harassment, denial of Jewish human rights and antisemitic attacks since the October 7 attack on the Jewish State of Israel have skyrocketed, especially at universities.
The U.S. House of Representatives held several hearings about the horrific rise in antisemitic attacks at universities. Rep. Foxx (R-NC), Chairwoman of the House Committee on Education and the Workforce, was tireless in her efforts to expose the systemic Jew-hatred prevalent in the institutions – or antisemitic ambivalence, should one choose to be charitable – which receive billions of dollars of government handouts. The Senate’s Republicans wanted a similar panel but are the minority party so could not force a discussion on the topic.
Despite the Democratic chair calling for a generic hearing on hate crimes, he pulled a narrow panel which consisted of a Muslim Arab, a Jewish rabbi, and a liberal apologist for antisemitism. There was no one there to talk about the most prevalent hate crime – attacks on Black people – revealing the thin veneer of the title meant to obfuscate the obvious problem of antisemitism.
But Democratic politicians were loathe to simply discuss rampant antisemitism without ALSO discussing the much less prevalent anti-Muslim hate crimes. Every Democratic senator on the panel made a point of discussing a wide range of hate crimes to appear balanced, even though the scale of Jew-hatred dwarves hate crime against every other group, and has for years, while Republican senators were laser-focused on antisemitic attacks.
Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) was apoplectic about the refusal to hold hearings specifically on antisemitism (start 1:55:50). He showed the steady rise of antisemitic hate crimes in the U.S. since 2014, with a terrible escalation starting at the beginning of the Biden Administration in 2021 and then again in 2022, before skyrocketing in 2023.
Cruz demanded that more attention be paid to Jew-hatred, a vile form of hatred that has led to genocide. He called college campuses vile “incubators of hatred of Jews,” and went on to list comments by students and student organizations that threatened Jews, including a Jewish student being told to “go back to the gas chambers.”
Cruz also called out the administrations such as M.I.T., which refused to prosecute some of the antisemitic agitators because if the school did, “the students risked losing their visas and being deported.” As he went on to criticize the Democratic administration and local Democratic politicians for refusing to enforce the law because they feared the “pro-Hamas wing of the party,” anti-Israel people in the audience began to protest (2:01:00). The senator concluded his remarks by noting that no university has yet lost federal funding despite being clearly in non-compliance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964.
Sen. Josh Hawley (R-MO) was similarly angered by the unchecked Jew hatred at universities. He showcased a poster of a student holding a Palestinian flag and a sign which read “THERE IS ONLY ONE SOLUTION,” a reference to the Nazi’s “Final Solution” to exterminate Jews. He showed another with a banner “LONG LIVE THE INTIFADA.”
Maya Berry of the Arab American Institute (AAI) testified that she objected to automatically inferring that the term “intifada” meant the violent slaughter of infidels, such as the brutal “Second Intifada” in Israel where Muslim Palestinian Arabs blew up buses and ice cream parlors full of kids, killing over 1,000 people. Berry said (2:10:15) that intifada “literally just means ‘to shake off’ or ‘get rid of’.” She would not agree that intifada necessarily means the violent destruction of Israel, while it could mean that. She essentially educated the committee that ‘intifada’ is an umbrella Arabic word that could mean a silent protest or the raping and beheading of infidels. Lots of in between.
Unmentioned in the hearing were the perpetrators of the antisemitic attacks. Sen. Durbin mentioned “white supremacists” repeatedly in his comments but no one directly pointed to the pro-Hamas extremists in the fringes of the Muslim and socialist communities who are overwhelmingly the perpetrators of Jew-hatred crimes today.
The president of Rutgers University, Jonathan Holloway who is not Jewish, told a House committee in May 2024 that he did not believe that Israel is a genocidal state and that “intifada” and “from the river to the sea” are calls for violence. He and his family were subsequently threatened and he announced his resignation last week due to fear for his and his family’s safety.
Rutgers President Jonathan Holloway announcing his resignation due to fear for his family’s safety
The Intifadas in Israel are genocidal jihadist attacks to slaughter Jews and destroy Israel. The Diaspora Intifada is more “nuanced” as AAI’s Berry said, and may mean violence and rape or it may simply be taunting and harassment.
Imagine that your neighbor had a big party celebrating the anniversary of the bombing of Pearl Harbor, when 2,400 military personnel were killed in a surprise attack by Japan. What would that say about that person’s view of the United States?
How would you feel if your town celebrated the anniversary of the 9/11 attacks as a moment of “joy” when the Global South rose up to take the mighty United States down a few pegs, launching a surprise attack on the country’s financial and military centers, killing nearly 3,000 people? Would you consider that person not only despises the country but Americans as well?
Consider how you would react to your school – teachers and fellow classmates – marking the anniversary of the slaughter of 1,200 people in Israel on October 7 – mostly civilians – with a vigil for the people who committed and supported the barbarous attack.
It is not theoretical. Jihadists and their supporters are pushing such events on American campuses.
The University of Maryland decided to cancel the celebration on October 7 by the Students for Justice in Palestine as an affront to human decency. The president of the university wrote a letter that the “day opens emotional wounds and evokes deeply rooted pain. The language has been charged and the rhetoric intense… out of an abundance of caution, we concluded to host only university-sponsored events that promote reflection on this day [October 7]. All other expressive events will be held prior to October 7, and then resume on October 8 in accordance with time, place and manner considerations of the First Amendment.”
CAIR, the Council for American Islamic Relations, stepped in to sue the school. It wanted to be able to taunt and mock Jewish pain specifically on October 7.
CAIR argued – perhaps legally correct but most definitely morally bankrupt – that free speech doesn’t take one day holidays. If people want to taunt Jews on the first anniversary of the worst mass slaughter of Jews since the Holocaust, they have every right to do so.
The jihadi defending group made its point clear and cited the University of Maryland’s own Free Speech guide, “to think the unthinkable, to discuss the uncomfortable, and challenge the unchallengeable.” CAIR notes that Students for Justice in Palestine specifically chose October 7th because they know that Jews, Zionists and other people of conscience will be supporting Jews and noting the terrible evil of Palestinian Arab terrorists.
CAIR is attempting to not only have free speech but do it SPECIFICALLY WHEN AND WHERE they can aggravate the most Jews. They are suing to have protests at the doors of synagogues and Jewish community centers, at kosher restaurants when Jews are dining, and at school when young Jews are mourning their dead friends and family.
CAIR may win their legal argument, much like the Westboro Baptist Church was able to protest at funerals of marines. CAIR may hold placards of “Globalize the Intifada” much like radical church members held signs that “Thank God for Dead Soldiers.”
Being morally depraved is not a crime.
CAIR and SJP may win the right to taunt Jews and mock their pain but society must take note: just as the Westboro church is not included in broad interfaith gatherings nor invited to give an opening blessing in Congress or sing the national anthem before sporting events, CAIR and its members should be disinvited and excluded from decent society.
Gamestop is a publicly-traded company with very poor prospects. Technology has changed the way people buy and play games, and retail stores are hurting all over the United States. The company has swapped management, closed stores and let people go but the business continues to flounder.
But not its stock price. As covered in the movie Dumb Money, masses of people decided to wage a war against professional capitalists and kept pushing the stock higher. Ignoring all fundamental principles, the trading horde opted for another capitalist principle, that things are worth what people are willing to pay for them. Enough of them bound together to run the stock and push professional stock traders to capitulation.

People are protesting on college campuses and the streets to protect Hamas from the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF). Masses have willfully opted to ignore basic morality in the face of heinous barbarism committed by the group which has promised to repeat its barbarity.
Like “Hello Kitty” who directs the masses to buy a meme stock, the Iranian tools of CAIR, Democratic Socialists of America, Students for Justice in Palestine and others, rally mobs to shut their blind moral eyes, and side with an antisemitic death cult.
They have turned the game on itself using its own rules. Capitalism both believes in fundamental values as well as market pricing, just as western society values liberalism as well as free speech and assembly. In the frenetic broadcast social media world, clicks and retweets are empowering the latter to overwhelm normalcy.
Passions are no longer tethered to truth and decency. And this is BEFORE artificial intelligence (AI) gets mainstreamed which will usher a future in which people will be unable to differentiate the real from the manufactured.
We are entering a very dangerous state for mankind, in which bots, AI and the masses actually have the power to tear down society without conventional weapons. Depravity coupled with technology will breed anarchy, particularly in societies where trust has been trashed, as many have been in the shadow of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The current axis of evil – China-Russia-Iran – are using anarchists on these shores to launch an insidious revolution, and our society just scrolls through X in bewilderment, rather than take actions to protect our values and our country.
In a world where facts are extraneous, we are only left with a clash of emotions.
Will we pass judgment solely on which party seems the most sympathetic because they feel the most injured? Does that foretell a future of balms for the pain, rather than solutions for the problems?
We are carrying our emotions across the threshold to deflower our intelligence. That is a marriage that will end poorly for civilization.

Jews have enemies, and they are public and proud about gunning for Jews. Some are deranged individuals but others are members of organized groups like American Muslims for Palestine (AMP) with thousands of supporters and growing power.
HAMAS
Hamas is the ruling authority of Gaza and a political party which controls 58% of the seats of the Palestinian parliament. They are considered a terrorist group by much of the West, and just a political party by the United Nations.
Hamas’s stated goal is the eradication of the Jewish State of Israel. It has a religious calling, infused with a radical jihadi philosophy.
Hamas’s 1988 Foundation Charter is the most antisemitic political document in history, a sick combination of Adolph Hitler’s Mein Kampf and the Russian forgery The Protocols of the Elders of Zion. It’s goal of killing Jews with global support is found throughout the charter:
“Israel will exist and will continue to exist until Islam will obliterate it.” (Opening)
“Our struggle against the Jews is very great and very serious.” (Preamble)
“raise the banner of Jihad in the face of the oppressors, so that they would rid the land and the people of their uncleanliness, vileness and evils.” (Article 3)
“raise the banner of Allah over every inch of Palestine” (Article 6)
“Moslems fight the Jews(killing the Jews)… there is a Jew behind me, come and kill him” (Article 7)
“Nothing in nationalism is more significant or deeper than in the case when an enemy should tread Moslem land” (Article 12)
“There is no solution for the Palestinian question except through Jihad. Initiatives, proposals and international conferences are all a waste of time” (Article 13)
“In face of the Jews’ usurpation of Palestine, it is compulsory that the banner of Jihad be raised…. the Palestinian problem is a religious problem, and should be dealt with on this basis.” (Article 15)
Zionist “organizations, hostile to humanity and Islam, will be obliterated.” (Article 17)
“In their Nazi treatment, the Jews made no exception for women or children… [Jews] attack people where their breadwinning is concerned, extorting their money” (Article 20)
“With their money, they took control of the world media, news agencies, the press, publishing houses, broadcasting stations, and others. With their money they stirred revolutions in various parts of the world with the purpose of achieving their interests and reaping the fruit therein…. They obtained the Balfour Declaration, formed the League of Nations through which they could rule the world. They were behind World War II, through which they made huge financial gains by trading in armaments, and paved the way for the establishment of their state. It was they who instigated the replacement of the League of Nations with the United Nations and the Security Council to enable them to rule the world through them. There is no war going on anywhere, without having their finger in it.” (Article 22)
“The Zionist invasion is a vicious invasion… using all evil and contemptible ways… infiltration and espionage operations on the secret organizations… aim at undermining societies, destroying values, corrupting consciences, deteriorating character and annihilating Islam. It is behind the drug trade and alcoholism in all its kinds so as to facilitate its control and expansion…. Israel, Judaism and Jews challenge Islam and the Moslem people.” (Article 28)
“the ferocity of the Zionist offensive and the Zionist influence in many countries exercised through financial and media control.” (Article 30)
“Peace and quiet would not be possible except under the wing of Islam… It is the duty of the followers of other religions to stop disputing the sovereignty of Islam in this region… The Zionist Nazi activities against our people will not last for long.” (Article 31)
“The Zionist plan is limitless. After Palestine, the Zionists aspire to expand from the Nile to the Euphrates. When they will have digested the region they overtook, they will aspire to further expansion, and so on. Their plan is embodied in the “Protocols of the Elders of Zion”, and their present conduct is the best proof of what we are saying.… here is no way out except by concentrating all powers and energies to face this Nazi, vicious Tatar invasion. The alternative is loss of one’s country, the dispersion ofcitizens, the spread of vice on earth and the destruction of religious values… fight with the warmongering Jews.” (Article 32)
“everywhere in the Islamic world will come forward in response to the call of duty while loudly proclaiming: Hail to Jihad. Their cry will reach the heavens and will go on being resounded until liberation is achieved, the invaders vanquished” (Article 33)
“Moslems were able to retrieve the land only when they stood under the wing of their religious banner… This is the only way to liberate Palestine… Nothing can overcome iron except iron.… confront the Zionist invasion and defeat it… rid themselves of the effects of ideological invasion.” (Article 34)
Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR)
CAIR should in theory, be a non-violent or toxic organization that advocates for Muslims in the United States. Alas, it is headed by antisemites who wish to attack Jewish institutions and run them out of the public square, as well as to destroy the only Jewish State.
The head of CAIR, Nihad Awad, defended the October 7 savage butchering of Israeli civilians. He has long said that “Zionist organizations” are “enemies of the Muslim community” and that “Zionist organizations make up the core of the Islamophobia network in the United States.”
CAIR-San Francisco Bay Area Executive Director Zahra Billoo, addressing an American Muslims for Palestine (AMP) conference, made clear that all Zionists are enemies. “Know your enemies, and I’m not going to sugar-coat that. They are your enemies. There are organizations and infrastructure out there who are working to harm you. Make no mistake of it. They would sell you down the line if they could, and they very often do behind your back. I mean the Zionist organizations, I mean the foreign policy organizations that say they’re not Zionists but want a two-state solution. I’m not a Palestinian myself but it’s my understanding that that is laughable. So know your enemies.” Billoo listed some of them: “We need to pay attention to the Anti-Defamation League. We need to pay attention to the Jewish Federation. We need to pay attention to the Zionist synagogues. We need to pay attention to the Hillel chapters on our campuses. Because just because they’re your friend today, doesn’t mean that they have your back when it comes to human rights. So oppose the vehement fascists but oppose the polite Zionists too. They are not your friends.“
Democratic Socialists of America (DSA)
The far-left DSA has long been against Israel and its “platform proudly states continued support for and involvement with the Palestinian-led Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions (BDS) movement, and efforts to eliminate U.S. military aid to Israel, while resisting the “normalization” of relationships between the Israeli government and other governments.”
The DSA chapter in New York City asked candidates to pledge to not even visit Israel and see firsthand what is happening, and blindly follow Palestinian propaganda. The questionnaire asked “Do you pledge not to travel to Israel if elected to City Council in solidarity with Palestinians living under occupation?”
The organization went further and stated that EVERY Israeli Jew is fair game for violence in a June 2023 tweet that said “in a settler colonial context there are no such things as “civilians”, but disregarding that even, it’s total folly to honestly compare settlers perpetuating pogroms to resistance groups deploying violence to liberate themselves.” Note that the Palestinian narrative considers all of Israel to be a settlement, and thereby calls the presence of any Jew to be a member of the military and fair target for violence. Rep. Ritchie Torres was apoplectic and rebuked the DSA for “declaring them [Jews] fair game for violence and terror.“
Within Our Lifetime (WOL)
Within Our Lifetime is a group that creates loud rallies calling for the destruction of Israel and calling to confront every group that supports Israel everywhere, including the United States. They insist that every Jew must be routed from “Palestine,” “We don’t want no two states. We want all of it!”
In their call to “Globalize the Intifada” they have a map of “Zionist organizations” in New York City (4:30) with a call for people to visit each of the locations.
In the immediate aftermath of October 7, the group chanted support for the killing of Jewish civilians in New York City’s Times Square in what they hoped was a war to destroy the “Zionist entity.”
SJP, within Our Lifetime and Palestine Youth Movement celebrate the killing of 1,200 Israelis in the immediate aftermath of the massacre
SJP is a hate group with about 300 groups on college campuses around the United States. It believes that every Israeli Jew and Zionist is an enemy to be confronted “by any means necessary,” which means burning families alive, as Gazans did on October 7.
In the aftermath of the Gazan barabrity, SJP said this is a “historic win for the Palestinian resistance,” and “This is what it means to Free Palestine: not just slogans and rallies, but armed confrontation with the oppressors.
Israeli Jews have other enemies, such as the Palestinian Authority. The PA is headed by a Holocaust denier who has demanded a country devoid of any Jews. Palestinian Arabs are the most antisemitic group by far, with 93% holding antisemitic beliefs according to the ADL.
But these days, one has to put the garden-variety Jew-haters on the back-burner and focus on the antisemites who want to do Jews harm and have the means to do so. Those with weapons like Hamas must be fought with weaponry. Those with political clout like CAIR and the DSA must be fought politically. And those inciting violence like WOL and SJP must be fought legally.
Jihadis and the alt-left declared Zionists as sworn enemies and to be confronted “by any means necessary.” On October 7, the world learned what that means. How will Jews, Zionists, their supporters and governments protect them?
The New York Times loves to tell stories with pictures and captions alongside its articles. It has a long history of using those visuals to downplay Palestinian Arab terrorism and antisemitism, as well as to magnify Israeli violence.
The paper also does this in its backyard of New York City, where it sanitizes Palestinian supporters’ antisemitism.
Antisemitic attacks, harassment and intimidation have become rampant on college campuses and at Columbia University in NYC, in particular. Last week, the head of the university and board members were summoned to testify before congress to address the scourge that had taken over the campus. In the aftermath of that testimony where Columbia’s leaders readily acknowledged the horrible situation for Jews on campus, things actually got worse.
Chants of “there is only one solution, intifada revolution” were heard throughout the campus and surrounding streets, in calls to terrorize and slaughter Israeli Jews. There were additional calls to “globalize the intifada” to bring the massacres to diaspora Jewry.
Jews were taunted with “Go back to Poland” and “we don’t want Zionists here!” Some Hamas supporters yelled “we’re all Hamas, pig!” at Jews walking by.
The situation was so toxic, that the Orthodox rabbi at Columbia/Barnard told his community that Columbia clearly “cannot guarantee Jewish students’ safety in the face of extreme antisemitism and anarchy,” and as such, recommended that Jewish students go home and not return to campus until matters settled.
President Biden echoed the disgust in his Passover remarks stating “This blatant Antisemitism is reprehensible and dangerous – and it has absolutely no place on college campuses, or anywhere in our country.”
The appalling situation was obvious to anyone who looked at the dynamics. But not for the Times which has an agenda to minimize antisemitism which might cloud the narrative that Palestinians are the only victims in this story.
The headline ran that “some Jewish students feel targeted” with a sub-header that other Jews “rejected that view,” informing viewers in bold that the whole narrative of antisemitism among the pro-Palestinian protestors is highly questionable.
The lead image showed marchers “apparently unaffiliated with Columbia” who “reportedly shouted at Jewish students.” There are dozens of videos showing the harassment, so why add the “reportedly” to make the claim dubious?
The article continued with a picture of “a Jewish graduate student” sitting comfortably on the campus green noting “he doesn’t feel unsafe” as well as another picture of women in kafiyehs with a caption that “many of the pro-Palestinian demonstrators at Columbia are Jewish.” Clearly the Times wanted viewers to internalize that this protest could not be antisemitic, as Jews participated.
The final picture of the protestors was taken from above at night, with tents huddled together in a peaceful shot of the “Gaza Solidarity Encampment.”
For the casual/Instagram-oriented reader who just scans the headlines, pictures and captions, the story was that Arabs, Jews and others were participating in anti-war peaceful protests on campus, with some people from outside the university perhaps saying something which might be construed as antisemitic. Any actions taken by the school administration against the student demonstrators was therefore unwarranted, and pressured by the too sensitive (and too powerful) Jews.
Just to get YOUR antisemitic attitudes up a few notches.
Even as Jews were targeted for attack and fled from university life, The Times told its readers that “pro-Palestinian demonstrators” are neither pro-Hamas nor antisemitic. It’s an alt-left / jihadi marketing ploy, marketed by the “axis of resistance” of Iran-Russia-China; their proxies of Hizbullah and Hamas in the Middle East; Rashida Tlaib, Ilhan Omar and Jamaal Bowman in Congress; Students for Justice in Palestine on college campuses; and the alt-left media like The New York Times.
Know that when the alt-left demands that White people give up their privilege, they also demand that Jews give up their victim hood and rights to protection.
Americans are debating free speech on college campuses, as “resistance” protests have emerged around the country with students supporting the brutal massacre and butchery of 1,400 Jews in Israel. While Jewish students mourned for murdered friends and relatives, they walked passed schoolmates who were celebrating, sitting in class next to classmates who said that their families were thrilled about the slaughter of Jews, and in front a professor who discussed the “start of the Palestinian War of Liberation“, meaning the end of the Jewish State.
University administrators, who want to foster “free speech” allow – and often encourage – the spectacle to go on, knowing that Jews feel threatened. The years of trying to create “safe spaces” for the young people – including calling for disciplinary action for misgendering someone – seemingly had limits.
The AMCHA Initiative has done extensive studies which shows that universities with five or more pro-Israeli boycott professors are more than seven times more likely to have antisemitic incidents on campus than those with fewer. They similarly showed that those with a Students for Justice in Palestine chapter on campus are at least five times more likely to intimidate and harass Jewish students.
The KKK, the most infamous hate group in the United States, despises Jews. And Blacks. And other minorities.
The hate group had been sidelined for years and thought it would be able to make a breakthrough during the Trump administration. To its disappointment, it did not have the money to influence universities the way Qatar, Saudi Arabia and other Muslim countries did in pouring billions of dollars onto campuses to build the anti-Zionist and antisemitic infrastructure.
But with a few student signatures and a single university professor with tenure, the KKK can open a chapter on campus. It can spout its false and hate-filled bile. And the university presidents will presumably remain silent, just as they have about SJP.
The war on college campuses is claiming its Jews, led by anti-Zionist groups like SJP. The KKK is right behind and will come for others.
Demand universities fire antisemitic professors like Columbia’s Joseph Massad, and kick Students for Justice in Palestine off of campus
A number of high-level individuals have recently taken aim at their alma maters for the toxic environment that exists for Jewish and Zionist students on campus.
They are very late to the party.
Jewish Philanthropists Donating To Humanities
For many years, billionaires like Ron Perelman, Bill Ackman and Marc Rowan donated tens of millions of dollars for health care facilities, art centers, humanities and economic studies at Harvard, University of Pennsylvania, Brown University and others. Yet they seldom put any money into Israel or Jewish Studies programs at these institutions, assuming all was fine and the schools they attended decades earlier remained much the same.
Now, as noxious antisemitism has reached a boiling point as campuses host “Resistance” rallies in support of Palestinians slaughtering Jewish civilians, these philanthropists have suddenly recalled the Jewish and Zionist part of their humanity programs.
Marc Rowan called on alumni to stop donating to the University of Pennsylvania after the school hosted an anti-Zionist and anti-Semitic “literary festival.” He said that the heads of the university should step down for failing to stop the tidal wave of hatred at his beloved school.
These billionaires, who made fortunes in the business world by investing intelligently and properly predicting the future, utterly failed to understand universities today.
Billions from Muslim Countries For Muslim Studies
The Saudi Arabian government, corporations and particular individuals gave $600 million to several universities between 2011 and 2017 according to The Project On Government Oversight. MIT alone took in $78 million. George Washington University, Columbia University, Tufts University, and the University of Southern California each took $1 million or more.
According to POGO, “the largest foreign funder by far is Qatar, the only country to give over $1 billion in the seven years covered by the Higher Education Act data.” Qatar is a principal funder of the political-terrorist group Hamas which committed the heinous massacre of over 1,000 people in Israel this week, which finally made the Jewish billionaires pay attention to the campus problem.
POGO added that “Harvard University received by far the most foreign money in the period, reporting just over $1 billion from over 60 countries. In addition to Harvard, MIT, Johns Hopkins University, Georgetown University, and Northwestern University are among the schools that reported receiving the most foreign gifts, each totaling over $300 million.”

The foreign donations take several forms, each of which embeds foreign culture into the universities’ campuses, and ultimately into the country.
Some international money was used to establish university branches in foreign countries. These centers enable U.S. students to study abroad and become more familiar with autocratic regimes in a friendly college environment.
Arab states funded Islamic Studies and Middle Eastern studies departments on U.S. campuses like the president of the United Arab Emirates, Sheik Zayed bin Sultan al-Nahyan, who donated $2.5 million to the Harvard Divinity School to endow the Sheik Zayed Al Nahyan Professorship in Islamic Religious Studies. Within a short period of time, the Zayed Center became a noxious fountain of anti-Semitic screed complete with Holocaust denials and blood libels.
Significantly, millions of dollars from Arab countries have funded student scholarships for thousands of Muslim students to come to the U.S. to study. During the Obama Administration, tens of thousands of students from Arab countries were present at universities, a number which began to decline significantly under the Trump Administration.
The presence of thousands of foreign students and Muslim teachers taking over Middle Eastern Studies Departments created a toxic brew. Students were able to petition universities to open chapters of Students for Justice in Palestine (SJP) with a faculty adviser, which were conveniently now present and paid for. The AMCHA Initiative showed that schools with five or more academic advisers favoring boycotting Israel “were 7.24 times more likely” to issue anti-Israel statements than schools with fewer than five advisors. Further, AMCHA Reports “analyzing antisemitic incidents in 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2018 indicate a significant increase in actions which directly harm or threaten Jewish students, including physical and verbal assaults, destruction of property, harassment discrimination and suppression of speech, at schools with an SJP or similar anti-Zionist chapter.”
In short, Gulf states spent billions of dollars over decades at American universities building an anti-Zionist and antisemitic infrastructure, while Jewish philanthropists had ribbon cutting ceremonies on general intellectual matters. The Jewish billionaires are waking up too late to their poor investments, when the anti-Zionist and antisemitic culture on campuses is deeply ingrained and universities are highly addicted to the stable flow of Islamic money.
While Rowan and Ackman may make a lot of noise about getting alumni to stop donating to these schools, they should put at least as much effort to get universities to stop taking money from autocratic, anti-democratic regimes which are poisoning the minds of America’s future and making schools inhospitable for Jews.
