Stop Calling Them “Pro-Palestinian Protests”

Many people and writers for mainstream and social media use terms like “pro-Palestinian” to describe protests like those held at Columbia University.

The New York Times writing about “pro-Palestinian” demonstrations on April 17, 2024 which were actually pro-Hamas and anti-Israel

The New York Times published an article that made it sound like young adults at Columbia University were respectfully and peacefully advocating for Palestinian Arabs. That “many Jewish people” found the protests to be antisemitic would therefore seem strange, as Jews would likely not view pro-Israel protests as being anti-Muslim. Arguably, anyone advocating for a two-state solution to the conflict is both pro-Palestinian and pro-Israeli. It begs a reader to ponder whether Jews are way too sensitive or the term “pro-Palestinian” is simply incorrect.

What was happening at these “pro-Palestinian protests?”

Long live the Intifada

The chant on Columbia’s main campus of “long live the intifada” is a jihadi genocial chant to kill Jews. It is not “pro-Palestinian” but both anti-Israel and antisemitic.

Divest

Chants on Columbia’s campus to “divest” from businesses in Israel are anti-Israel, not pro-Palestinian.

We don’t want no Zionists here

Screaming around the campus that “we don’t want no Zionists here” is not pro-Palestinian but anti-Israel supporters.

Get the f*** out of here, have some shame. Don’t f***ing show your face here again you piece of sh**. Your mom is a wh***

Covered in a kaffiyeh, it’s surreal to watch an anti-Zionist shout at someone to not “”show your face here again.” But intimidation and illogic are cornerstones of haters hating.

We are all Hamas, pig!

Standing on the street alongside Columbia and shouting at a Jew “keep on moving you Zionist pig” and “we are all Hamas”, swearing allegiance to the antisemitic genocial group that has directly and indirectly caused the deaths of tens of thousands of people is both anti-Israel and antisemitic. It should also be viewed as full-throated support for a U.S.-designated foreign terrorist organization and a criminal act, especially when yelled at an individual with the intent to intimidate and terrorize.

Ripping an Israeli flag and punching someone in the face

Violence against someone normally carries a misdemeanor charge of assault or battery. When a group of people surround a single individual and taunt him with “kill yourself” and rip an Israeli flag, the action may be a felony. It certainly is not simply taking part in a “boisterous pro-Palestinian demonstration.”

Free, Free Palestine,” and “There is only one solution, Intifada revolution

Calling for a violent jihadi “intifada revolution” on the streets outside and on the main campus of Columbia is both antisemitic, anti-Israel and vocal support for killing Jews and expelling them from their homeland. How is that a form of “pro-Palestinian protest?”

Al-Qassam, you make us proud, kill another soldier now!

Cheering the Hamas military wing, a designated a terrorist organization by multiple countries, is anti-Israel and pro-terrorism, as is showing off a Hamas flag. It does not mark a pro-Palestinian protest.

We don’t want two states! We want ’48

Marching outside Columbia’s gates shouting for the destruction of Israel and replacing it with a new country of Palestine, which didn’t even exist in 1948, is anti-Israel.

Never forget the 7th of October. That will happen not one more time, not five more times, not 10…100…1000…10,000…The 7th of October is going to be every day for you.

Yelling at two Jewish students standing outside of Columbia University’s gates that the worst massacre of Jews since the Holocaust will be “every day for you” is either a wish or threat. Either way, it is profoundly anti-Israel and antisemitic.

By any means necessary

Columbia students chant that raping Jewish women, killing Jewish children, shooting elderly Jews, burning Jewish families alive, is moral, legal and appreciated. Civil society knows it to be deeply immoral, anti-Israel and antisemitic. The least one can do is clearly label it.

If people were engaged in peaceful “pro-Palestinian protests,” 80% of them wouldn’t be hiding behind masks. They know they are part of an antisemitic jihadi cabal that supports destroying the Jewish State, so why is the media soft-selling their antisemitism and genocidal intentions?

‘Tis The Season To Vote And Donate Jewish

The famous legal scholar Alan Dershowitz came to speak to a group of roughly 40 people in New York City on April 16, 2024, to address the horrifying rise in antisemitism and anti-Zionism. Dershowitz led his remarks with dark humor, that he’s an optimist- when people tell him that the situation cannot get worse, he responds “I think they can!”

Alan Dershowitz speaking to group about rise in antisemitism and anti-Zionism

Dershowitz spoke about many underlying reasons for Jews being persecuted which included the push for DEI (Diversity, Equity and Inclusion) promoted on college campuses and large corporations, which specifically excludes Jews and Asians in an effort to promote Blacks and Latinos. He noted that any system that opposes meritocracy is bad for Jews. Being a small minority, a set of rules that demanded proportionality of positions according to overall population would leave few spots for Jews.

Dershowitz spoke of a letter that Albert Einstein wrote about the people of Germany who elected the Nazis, and parallels that can be drawn for Palestinian Arabs and the United States today. Einstein wroteThe Germans as an entire people are responsible for the mass murders and must be punished as a people if there is justice in the world and if the consciousness of collective responsibility in the nations is not to perish from the earth entirely. Behind the Nazi party stands the German people, who elected Hitler after he had in his book [Mein Kampf] and in his speeches made his shameful [genocidal] intentions clear beyond the possibility of misunderstanding.” Similarly, Palestinians elected Hamas to 58% of its parliament with its antisemitic genocidal charter and continue to support the group and its heinous brutal slaughter committed on October 7. While children are inherently innocent, are the women who support Hamas and the 16-year old with a rifle truly innocent?

And what about for us as Americans today? How do we allow terrorist supporters and antisemites to get elected and issue threats on the streets and college campuses?

The liberal Democrat shared that he had always voted for Democrats but no more. He said that “it’s time for the Democratic Party to stop taking the Jewish vote for granted.” He suggested that every Jew consider new priorities regarding elections, as two things have changed: the current Democratic party is not your grandparents Democratic Party, and the current reality for the Jewish community is dire and poised to get worse.

Dershowitz was very clear that the economy, abortion rights and other matters remain dear to him but that he sees the writing on the walls which is compelling a complete pivot to stem the tide of Jew hatred. While he loves the opera and museums, he will shift his donations from the arts and medical institutions to Jewish and pro-Israel causes. He quoted the phrase in Ecclesiastes that “to everything there is a season,” and dark clouds have now come for the Jews. As such, every Jew must vote and donate with a priority on Jewish safety and security.

To highlight the point, the day before the Dershowitz talk, the House voted on H.R. 6408 to withhold tax-exempt status for organizations that support terror. Eleven people – including the entire alt-left “squad” – voted against the measure.

Vote on H.R. 6408 on April 15, 2024 to terminate tax-exempt status for terrorist supporting organizations passed with almost complete support – except for the far-left extremists of the “Squad” including Jamaal Bowman

Americans must prioritize ousting the eleven terrorist-supporters in congress with votes and donations to their opponents:

Jamaal Bowman Is Either An Ignoramus Or A Madman Looking To Put Millions Of Lives In Danger

On April 14, 2024, The Islamic Republic of Iran fired hundreds of missiles and drones at the State of Israel. It was the first time Iran fired upon Israel from its own territory, as it had historically used its proxies of Hezbollah in Lebanon, Houthis in Yemen, Hamas in Gaza and the government of Syria to attack the Jewish State.

The United States has labeled Iran as a state sponsor of terrorism since 1984. The State Department highlights Iran supplying “weapons to Hizballah, Iran’s primary terrorist proxy group,” as well as “providing weapons systems and other support to Hamas and other U.S.-designated Palestinian terrorist groups, including Palestine Islamic Jihad and the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine-General Command.  These groups were behind numerous deadly attacks originating in Gaza and the West Bank.”

Iran and its proxies have been responsible for the deaths of thousands of Israelis; on October 7, 2023 as well as since and before that date. It is the root cause of instability and war in the region, and for the deaths of thousands outside of Israel as well.

These are well established facts and known to anyone with passing knowledge of the region. It is terrifying that a sitting member of congress is either too ignorant to know this or more frighteningly, chooses to ignore reality to conjure a fantasy which falsely inverts cause-and-effect to act as a protector of the axis of evil of Iran-Russia-Syria and their proxies.

Rep. Jamaal Bowman, is such a disgrace. At best he can be called a fool and at worst, a man dedicated to the destruction of Israel and America.

Rep. Jamaal Bowman tweet after Iran fired hundreds of missiles at America’s ally of Israel

Bowman said that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu caused the “escalation” via his “warmongering.” He charged Netanyahu as being a “madman” who is “willing to endanger the lives of millions just to draw the US deeper into a conflict.”

Not only does Bowman fail to comprehend that Iran is behind the entire war apparatus in “Lebanon, Syria, Yemen and Iraq”, he falsely asserted that Israel is not only not being defensive, but outrageously claimed that Israel is offensive just to draw America into the war.

Alarmingly, Bowman is getting more radical supporters for his outlandish statements, including young people covered in Palestinian kaffiyehs, some with Palestinian flags around their shoulders, some waving Palestinian flags and others in front of hanging Palestinian flags. They are calling for “death to Israel” and “death to America”; for repeats of October 7 in Israel and September 11 in the U.S.A., as they cut checks to and support terrorist groups.

Vote on H.R. 6408 on April 15, 2024 to terminate tax-exempt status for terrorist supporting organizations passed with almost complete support – except for the far-left extremists of the “Squad” including Jamaal Bowman

The Obama Doctrine of placating Iran with billions of dollars and leaving its nuclear program intact is bearing fruit a decade later in Israeli kibbutzim and on American streets. Political anarchists like Bowman, who shout “defund the police” and “defund Israel” are seeking to set the Western world aflame.

AIPAC’s Open Tent Versus Justice Democrats Niche Extremism

To visit social media during election season is to be barraged by smear campaigns of the extremists. Nowhere is this more apparent than the alt-woke group called Justice Democrats.

Justice Democrats was established to help elect far-left progressives into political office. Rather than form their own party like the Working Families Party with whom they align, they have sought to infiltrate the Democratic Party by ousting moderate Democratic politicians in deeply Democratic congressional districts.

Their poster child is Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez who was by far the biggest money-hauler in the 2022 election cycle, raising nearly $10 million. She has used her deep pockets to influence other races outside of her district, often being the king-maker alongside the Justice Democrats’ “Dr. Frankenstein.” With eight politicians in Congress now, the alt-left beast is very much “alive” in the Democratic Party.

In contrast to the extremism of the Justice Democrats’ “Squad” which seeks to elect non-White, women and LGBT+ people who seek to dismantle America in a broad redistribution of wealth, there are many political movements which believe that the United States is an amazing country, and support and welcome everyone who empowers America. One of those groups is AIPAC, which seeks to strengthen the U.S.-Israel alliance.

AIPAC supports Whites, Blacks, Hispanics and Asians. It backs progressives, liberals, moderates and conservatives. It has endorsed every type of American that makes up this great country, as long as they believe in the unique greatness here, and want to strengthen it and the U.S.-Israel alliance.

The Justice Democrats in Congress think America is an atrocious, racist and horrible country that must be ripped down. They see Republicans and White men as the embodiment of the system that must be toppled in a broad redistribution of wealth from those pockets of the “patriatchy” to those the enlightened “woke” deem more worthy.

For some reason, those same alt-ledt people who hate America also hate the Jewish State. They believe that Israel is a “White European Settler Colonialist” country in an antisemitic whitewashing of thousands of years of Jewish history and false accounting of the population of Israel which has a plurality of Jews of color.

The Justice Democrats are now pouring millions of dollars into campaigns against AIPAC, rather than promote their candidates.

Justice Democrats has falsely stated that AIPAC is against “Black and Brown progressives” when, in fact, it endorses many, including Rep. Ritchie Torres (D-NY15) who represents one of the poorest districts in the country.

Justice Democrats unleashed a campaign called RejectAIPAC, and the alt-left politicians they support have leaned into the theme. They are seeking to pressure the United States to stop supporting Israel in its defensive war against the terrorist group Hamas, to enable the antisemitic group to survive the war.

Justice Democrats and sister groups like the Democratic Socialists of America are no longer just anti-White, anti-Republican and anti-America but anti-Israel and anti-Jewish. They have launched a smear campaign against the bipartisan group AIPAC and will certainly come after other pro-America organizations as they seek to tear down America in a campaign to redistribute wealth to the people they consider most worthy.

Amnesty International’s And Palestinian Authority’s Obituaries For Israel

Walid Daqqa, a notorious Israeli Arab who tortured and killed a 19-year old Israeli soldier in 1984, died of cancer in an Israeli prison this week. He had been held in jail for over thirty years for not simply murdering Israeli Jew Moshe Tamam, but reportedly gouging out his eyes and castrating him as well. Daqqa acted with a few other Israeli Arabs who were all members of the terrorist group Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine, some of whom were released after having their sentences commuted.

For Amnesty International, this brutal atrocity was not even a footnote, as the anti-Israel organization referred to Daqqa – an Israeli Arab – simply as a “Palestinian writer.” Inverting the entirety of cause-and-effect, Amnesty condemned “Israel’s disregard for Palestinians’ right to life,” rather than an Israeli Arab’s disregard for an Israeli Jew’s right to life.

Amnesty International condemning Israel for an Israeli Arab who tortured and killed an Israeli soldier, dying from cancer in prison.

Not to be outdone in rewriting history of the past and present, Wafa, the official news agency of the supposedly “moderate” Palestinian Authority, condemned Israel for detaining two people at Daqqa’s funeral tent inside Israel, referring to the Jewish State, as “1948 territories.”

Palestinian Authority’s Wafa calling Israel “1948 territories,” considering them part of “occupied Palestine.”

The media coverage by the Palestinian Authority and international human rights groups of the death of an Israeli Arab who tortured, mutilated and killed an Israeli soldier forty years ago, showcases that the impasse of acceptance of the Jewish State lies deeply in the mental state of “moderate” organizations who conceal the barbarity of local Arabs, as much as the terrorist groups who carry out the actual genocide of Israeli Jews.

The Palestinian Authority and Amnesty International are not actually writing about the deaths of Arabs; they are conceptualizing their desired obituary of the Jewish State.

Press Coverage Absolves Hamas, Pivoting To Israeli War Against Gazans

The New York Times lead on April 8, 2024

Under the banner “Middle East Crisis,” The New York Times has attempted to reframe the current Hamas-Israel war into a crisis in which the Israeli military targets Palestinian Arab civilians.

The headlines refer to Israeli “troop presence” while the accompanying picture has rubble with a caption of “displaced Palestinians in Rafah, Gaza, last week.” One cannot find any mention of the Hamas.

The article continues about the “Israeli military” and its “ground troops” reviewing the reduction in the number “of the soldiers.” It added about the “98th Division” leaving “to recuperate and prepare for future operations in southern Gaza,” an area “where more than a million people have sought refuge.” There was no description of Hamas soldiers.

The Times framing of the story pits a large Israeli military pounding a beleaguered Gazan civilian population. There is no context of the antisemitic genocidal intentions of Hamas, the ruling entity in the Gazan terrorist enclave. It does not recount that Hamas started the war butchering 1,200 people, mostly civilians in Israel and promised to repeat the atrocities. The Times neglected to mention Gazans support for the October 7 attack and long history of supporting killing Jewish civilians in Israel predating Hamas’s takeover of Gaza. It left out the 133 hostages still held by Hamas, with its leaders still ensconced in southern Gaza.

People should stop wondering why there is amnesia about Hamas’s atrocities and Palestinian support to butcher Jews. It is a narrative of emotions-not-facts that vomit on social media, and alternative facts spread by the anti-Israel mainstream media.

Will People Advocating For Equal Rights In A One State Solution Promote Jewish Prayer And A Jewish Temple On The Temple Mount?

People debate the meaning of the phrase “From the River to the Sea, Palestine Will Be Free.” Many believe it to be a genocidal chant to destroy the Jewish State of Israel and kill the Jews living there, echoing the stated intentions of the political-terrorist group Hamas. Others have said that it is simply a call for all people to live in the area to be free, in a democratic binational state (although neither Israelis nor Palestinian Arabs want such outcome according to polls).

Perhaps an easy way to decipher whether people yelling “Free Palestine” are pro-Hamas or pro-Palestinian is to ask their opinion about whether all people should have dignity and rights in the land. Specifically, do they support Jews being able to pray openly in mass at their holiest site of the Jewish Temple Mount in the Old City of Jerusalem? Would they further support rebuilding a Jewish Temple on the site?

Currently, Jews are denied the basic human right to pray at their holiest site because radical Islamists like Hamas demand that the site be a purely Islamic site. If the chanters want to disassociate themselves from the genocidal charter, and advocate for mutual dignity and rights, they should add another chant “All over the Temple Mount, Jewish prayer will abound!”

Failure to actively support full Jewish rights throughout the Old City of Jerusalem and especially on the Temple Mount, marks the chanters of “Free Palestine” as backers of a U.S.-designated foreign terrorist organization and supporting the destruction of an ally. Those people should face the full ramifications of supporting such genocidal killers.

US Hypocrisy On Terrorist Media

It is rumored that Israel may soon ban Al Jazeera, the Qatar-owned media company.

Qatar is Hamas’s principle backer (nearly $2 billion), and the oil rich kingdom has long used its state-owned Al Jazeera and AJ+ media platforms to broadcast the Palestinian political-terrorist group’s propaganda. Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu posted on X/Twitter on April 1 that “the terrorist channel Al Jazeera will no longer broadcast from Israel. I intend to act immediately in accordance with the new law to stop the channel’s activities.”

At a press conference in Washington, D.C. later the same day, a journalist asked White House spokesperson Karine Jean-Pierre about the potential Israeli ban. She said that it is “concerning,” and that “the United States supports the critically important work journalists around the world do.”

White House Spokesperson Karine Jean-Pierre on April 1, 2024 discussing Israel’s possible ban of Al Jazeera

Yet the United States itself bans terrorist-supporting media.

In December 2004, the United States banned Al Manar, the satellite station run by the Lebanese terrorist group Hezbollah, which is backed by the Islamic Republic of Iran, much like Hamas. In June 2021, the U.S. blocked and/or seized the websites of several dozen Iranian sites for spreading “disinformation.”

More recently, the U.S. was influential in getting social media sites Facebook and Instagram to shut down Hamas’s postings. Right now, the U.S. government is trying to ban the entire social media platform of Tik Tok which is indirectly owned by the Chinese government due to security concerns, even though the country is not a designated terrorist entity.

Qatar is one of the richest countries in the world and uses its vast fossil fuel deposits to fund the murderous jihadists of Hamas, as well as radical jihadist professors and student groups at American universities. Despite knowing this, the Biden Administration offered a hypocritical defense of Al Jazeera.

The U.S. government should not only reverse the White House press secretary’s remarks about Israel’s potential actions against Al Jazeera, but should support the effort and consider doing the sames in the U.S. as well.

US Fails To Lead Systemically Anti-Israel UN Security Council

The United Nations Security Council knows about terrorism and how to condemn it. Here is a recent sample of condemnations:

But the UNSC has refused to collectively condemn the Palestinian political-terrorist group Hamas when several resolutions were introduced over the past two months.

The UNSC ultimately did pass Resolution 2728 calling for a ceasefire for the remainder of Ramadan, and only the United States, United Kingdom, Russia and Israel condemned Hamas and its attacks during their comments. The rest of the council remained silent and refused to endorse a prior US-led proposal which included formal language condemning Palestinian terrorism.

The countries which refused to condemn Palestinian barbarism included:

  • Algeria
  • China
  • Ecuador
  • France
  • Guyana
  • Japan
  • Malta
  • Mozambique
  • Korea
  • Sierra Leone
  • Slovenia
  • Switzerland

Note that in the immediate aftermath of the October 7 atrocities, the UN Security Council did not issue any statement condemning the Palestinian barbarity. It did not address the attack until Russia tried to pass a ceasefire resolution a week later on October 16, to protect Hamas terrorists as Israel responded.

In sharp contrast to the brutal slaughter of 1,200 people in Israel and taking of 250 hostages, the UNSC issued the following denunciation of terrorism just one day after six people were killed in Pakistan on March 26:

The members of the Security Council condemned in the strongest terms the heinous and cowardly terrorist attack near Besham, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province, Pakistan, on 26 March which resulted in the deaths of five Chinese nationals and one Pakistani national.

The members of the Security Council expressed their deepest sympathy and condolences to the families of the victims and to the Governments of Pakistan and China, and they wished a speedy and full recovery to those who were injured.

The members of the Security Council reaffirmed that terrorism in all its forms and manifestations constitutes one of the most serious threats to international peace and security.

The members of the Security Council underlined the need to hold perpetrators, organizers, financiers and sponsors of these reprehensible acts of terrorism accountable and bring them to justice.  They urged all States, in accordance with their obligations under international law and relevant Security Council resolutions, to cooperate actively with the Governments of Pakistan and China, as well as all other relevant authorities in this regard.

The members of the Security Council reiterated that any acts of terrorism are criminal and unjustifiable, regardless of their motivation, wherever, whenever and by whomsoever committed.  They reaffirmed the need for all States to combat by all means, in accordance with the Charter of the United Nations and other obligations under international law, including international human rights law, international refugee law and international humanitarian law, threats to international peace and security caused by terrorist acts.

Imagine the UNSC issuing such a statement for Israel. The failure to do so after October 7 sums up the United Nations.

The United Nations is deeply and systemically anti-Israel and the United States caved to the global body rather than lead in a principled fashion. It is imperative for the United States and other moral countries to send as much military aid to Israel as possible to both finish Hamas and prepare for war against Iran’s other proxies which surround the Jewish state, and simultaneously cut funding to the horrific global agency.

Destroying Hamas Convinces Gazans To Support Two State Solution. Why Doesn’t The UN Get It?

The United States abstained from a United Nations Security Council Resolution 2728 because the language calling for a ceasefire “did not contain a condemnation of Hamas” (22:35). The reality is that the United Nations needs to do more than just “condemn Hamas” as advocated by the US (23:30). They have to join the US in the goal “to defeat Hamas” (25:58).

According to the latest PCPSR March 2024 poll, the ongoing war has finally made Gazans start to change their attitudes. From September 2023 (pre-war) to March 2024, the percentage of Gazans who support a two state solution jumped from 34% to 62% (figure 28). Further, the percentage of Gazans supporting violence dropped from 56% in December 2023 to 39% in March 2024 (figure 29). Overall, the percentage of Palestinian Arabs (Gazans and West Bankers) favoring armed Arab militias patrolling the West Bank also declined from 56% in December 2023 to 41% in March 2024 (figure 31).

Yet the United Nations takes actions exactly opposed to their stated goals. Nations voice support for an immediate end to the war and movement towards a two-state solution even though those things are completely incompatible. The path to two-states is moving Gazans out of harm’s way so that Israel can finish the neutering of Hamas. Advancing a ceasefire and leaving Hamas intact will continue the ongoing hostilities for years.

Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh celebrated the passing of the UN resolution while in Iran. He said “Although this resolution came late and there may be some gaps that need to be filled, the resolution itself indicates that the Israeli occupation is experiencing unprecedented political isolation.” He sees the UN saving his genocidal approach towards the conflict on the eve of its potential destruction.

The United Nations is the major roadblock to peace, continuing to tell the descendants of “Palestinian refugees” that they will get to move into Israel, and protecting the antisemitic political-terrorist group Hamas. The United States should not just stop payments to UNRWA but the entire United Nations.
