Holocaust Survivors At The 2024 Israeli Day Parade In New York City

New York City has held a Celebrate Israel Day parade for many decades. In 2024, just months after the worst attack on the Jewish people since the Holocaust, the gathering of Jews and Israel-supporters had a very different feeling.

Among the many marchers were several elderly people who survived the European Holocaust 80 years ago. Some joined a float sponsored by the Claims Conference, the organization that secures funding from European countries, principally Germany, and distributes it to help the elderly victims.

The survivors and Claims Conference supporters wore shirts that read “cancel hate” on the front, while the backs read “never again,” particularly meaningful slogans for people who had survived violent trauma as children and were living through a period of antisemitic slaughter and vulgar hatred again in their old age.

Alas, “never again” proved a hollow slogan. On October 7, vicious Palestinian Arab antisemites invaded Israel and butchered 1,200 civilians in their homes and at a peaceful dance rave. In the tragedy’s immediate aftermath, people in many cities – including New York City – chanted that they were thrilled at the burning of Jewish families. Once again.

Eight months later, Holocaust survivors rode up Fifth Avenue holding Israeli flags, as New York City Police sharpshooters watched from atop buildings, and drones and helicopters circled overhead, worried that anti-Israel protestors would attack the celebration.

Only half of Fifth Avenue held onlookers, as the police did not want infiltrators coming in from Central Park, which packed viewers against the buildings. Many wore stickers and held placards to finish Hamas, the ruling Palestinian entity of Gaza which carried out the vicious massacre and has sworn to destroy the Jewish State.

The survivors were born in various countries including Poland and Russia. They were mostly women, as male survivors are becoming a rarity.

They waved flags. They danced with young Jews.

They cried at the situation that they were living in a world where “never again” were empty words, even as they clasped Israeli flags and tried to remain hopeful that now Jews have autonomy in the State of Israel which was lacking during World War II.

The reality is that they had fled many years ago to America and internalized that this “goldene medina” was unique and offered Jews protection and opportunity absent in Europe.

Now, their smiles and optimism felt shallow.

The crowd very much echoed those feelings. Yellow ribbons, pins and stickers calling to bring home the 125 remaining hostages held by Palestinian Arabs, were close to everyone’s hearts and minds.

In the end, the Holocaust survivors didn’t confront any Jew haters in the crowd as they rode the float in the Israel celebration. They and the crowd which included many with family members impacted by the October 7 Massacre as well as the War on Terror, thought about the words that accompanied them on the journey from Matisyahu’s One Day song:

Nicholas Kristof Whitewashes Hamas’s Antisemitism

Nicholas Kristof is an opinion columnist for The New York Times. According to the paper, his beat is “Human rights, women’s rights, health, global affairs.”

Somehow, he is unable to comprehend blatant antisemitism.

In an opinion article called “Thinking Through The Moral Tangle in Gaza,” Kristof made himself sound like a well-read balanced observer of the conflict, seeing good and bad in both Palestinian Arabs and Israelis. He ticked through twenty points which he thought could lead to peace and a two-state solution and an end to the conflict.

Instead, he showed he lacks basic understanding of the situation to untangle the situation in Gaza.

In his fifth point he wrote “Hamas is an oppressive, misogynistic and homophobic organization whose misrule has hurt Palestinians and Israelis alike.” What an abysmal portrayal of the organization.

Yes, Hamas is oppressive, homophobic and misogynistic, but that doesn’t touch upon the crux of the conflict and the ongoing war. Hamas is an antisemitic genocidal group dedicated to the destruction of the Jewish State. It makes the point clearly in its foundational charter and in remarks by its leadership repeatedly.

How can Kristof talk about the situation in Gaza without clearly articulating that Hamas is built upon Jew hatred? Does he think that the “moral tangle in Gaza” is simply because Gaza leads the region in honor killings of women and beheads gay people?

Kristof places a red herring before readers in stating that Hamas is bad for Palestinians. The fact is that Hamas is extremely popular among Palestinian Arabs and those in Gaza in particular. A majority of Gazans support the Hamas massacre of 1,200 civilians and another 400 security personnel in Israel. Roughly two-thirds of Gazans have been in favor of slaughtering Jewish civilians inside of Israel since Hamas took over Gaza in 2007.

The moral failure of the NY Times did not start on October 7, but is increasingly painful to stomach since that date. The disgraceful articles and opinions continue to bury the rampant antisemitism in Hamas and among Gazans, as well as in the United States which emanates from jihadists and socialists.

The Hamas – Gazans Partnership

Hamas, a U.S.- designated foreign terrorist organization, has ruled Gaza since 2007. Since that time, it has launched several wars against the State of Israel, including in 2008, 2012, 2014, 2021 and the current war of 2023-4.

Gazans are deeply supportive of Hamas and their wars against the Jewish State. Palestinians elected Hamas to 58% of the Palestinian parliament in 2006. In polls since 2007, a majority of 65% of Gazans support killing Israeli civilians. Hundreds of regular Gazans participated in the October 7 slaughter and a post-October 7 Massacre poll of Gazans showed 64% supported the attack and 60% support Hamas.

The United Nations recognizes Hamas as a legitimate representative of Palestinian Arabs. And why not? Gazans love their jihadi rulers.

Gazans are partners of Hamas.

  • The local population has not fought to purge the antisemitic genocidal maniacs from power
  • They have not complained that many Hamas leaders are multi-millionaires living in luxury while they suffer on the battlefield
  • They have not stormed the Hamas tunnels for safety
  • They don’t condemn Hamas storing armaments in schools, hospitals and next to tent camps, putting children’s lives in danger

Hamas is the popular Gazan army. It is fighting a war to destroy Israel with the support of a majority of the adult population.

Gazans do not want Hamas defeated nor do they want it to surrender to end the bloodshed. They want the war to continue until Israel is destroyed. The fewer martyrs, the better, but there are no regrets for any of the dead. They believe that they are a price to pay to make the holy land devoid of Jews and Jewish sovereignty.

Year after year, Palestinians educate their children that Jews have no history in the holy land and are illegal colonizers to be wiped out. Every day children are told that terrorists who kill Jewish civilians are to be praised. They are taught to hate and kill Jews.

Gazans have made Gaza a terrorist enclave, with antisemitism instilled from birth. It is a gross deformity of basic humanity, an evil project of the United Nations which has blessed the leaders and school teachers.

The UN condemns Israel for dealing with the problem that the UN itself created. Rather than fix the issue and tell Palestinians that there is no right of return to Israel, they continue to breathe life into the notion, into Hamas and into the war.

There is a reason that the United States opposes the United Nations in the current war between Israel and Hamas in Gaza: the UN believes that Hamas is legitimate and Gazans desire to move to Israel is just, while the United States believes that the antisemitic genocidal maniacs are a proven problem being next door to a Jewish State, and it’s an obviously preposterous evil proposal to relocate them into Israel.

Tlaib And Bowman Have Aligned With Terrorists To Destroy Israel And America

Rep. Rashida Tlaib, Jamaal Bowman, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Ilhan Omar, Cori Bush and Betty McCollum put forward H.Res 1123, a ‘Nakba Resolution’ in May 2022 which demanded that millions of Arabs who had parents, grandparents or great-grandparents who once lived in Israel should be allowed to move there against the wishes of the sovereign State of Israel. They continue to make incendiary comments to strip Israel of its sovereign rights to determine who may live inside the country, and even more glaring, are trying to compel the admittance of people who voted a genocidal regime into a majority of the Palestinian parliament, and which just tortured and brutally murdered 1,200 civilians and almost 400 security personnel.

Tlaib, Bowman and crew attempted to push the resolution through Congress again in May 2023.

Tlaib was roundly censured by Congress – including by fellow Democrats – for her vilification of Israel, calling for the end of the Jewish State, and her lies that Israel and the United States were responsible for the October 7 Hamas massacre, in H.Res 845. Jamaal Bowman was one of the few people who came to Tlaib’s defense.

In the aftermath of the October 7 Palestinian slaughter of Jews, Bowman went onto the streets of White Plains, NY and said before an anti-Zionist crowd “What we never talk about- the number of women and children that have been taken by Israel in the West Bank. They need to be released as well [even those who committed murder]. We have to tell the truth about what’s been happening there for 75 years [since the founding of Israel in 1948]. The occupation [the basic existence of Israel] is a war crime.”

Bowman would go on to describe Israel’s claims of beheaded babies and raping of women as “lies and propaganda.” Tlaib followed suit, and was the only member of Congress to not vote on a resolution to condemn Hamas’s rape of Israeli women, essentially defending her position by concocting a fiction that Israeli forces are raping Palestinians.

Tlaib continued to vote in Congress to protect the antisemitic genocidal group Hamas:

Beyond protecting Hamas in Congress, Tlaib recently spoke at a pro-Palestinian conference which included a member of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP), an event sponsored by China. Hamas and PFLP are United States-designated foreign terrorist organizations which not only committed the brutal slaughter of civilians by entering their homes and burning families alive, but promised to commit the atrocities again and again.

While Tlaib is invited to speak at conferences which sek to end the Jewish State, Bowman runs for the blessings of these groups and holds fundraisers with their donors.

Bowman proved his anti-Zionist bona fides to such a level, that he was able to get the endorsement of the New York City Democratic Socialists of America, after lobbying to get their approval.

The NYC-DSA is a grossly antisemitic group. It held a rally in Times Square on October 8 and mocked the hundreds of young peaceful dancers who were butchered and taken hostage by Hamas.

A majority of Gazans have long supported Hamas and killing Jewish civilians inside of Israel. Reps. Tlaib and Bowman and standing beside them and begging them and their sponsors for support, as they attempt to remove Israel’s critical ally in its battle with genocidal maniacs. The alt-left duo is aligning with an axis of evil which wants to destroy the United States and Israel.

Westchester County Executive George Latimer, Bowman’s Democratic Party opponent, put it best: Jamaal Bowman actively courted and finally secured the endorsement of “a group that wants to pull the US out of NATO; end sanctions against Russia, North Korea and Iran; wipe Israel off the map; stonewall President Biden’s agenda; and legalize fentanyl.”

It is up to us to vote them out of power.

On May 15, 2023, the United Nations held its first “Nakba Day” event. In discussing the various activities to be held, the UN stated it wanted to “highlight that the noble goals of justice and peace, require recognizing the reality and history of the Palestinian people’s plight and ensuring the fulfillment of their inalienable rights.”

The difference in understanding those “inalienable rights” is the crux of why no solution to the conflict has been realized.

At the event, Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas demanded “the return of Palestinian refugees to their homeland, to their cities and villages, of which they were displaced by aggression and terror.” Abbas added “the issue of the refugees must be resolved. There are refugees and they should return. I am a refugee. I am a Palestinian refugee. I want to return to my town. I cannot live even in Paris or New York. I won’t have it. I want Safed. It is such a small town. I want it.”

Several countries sent solidarity messages to the Nakba event including: Algeria; Venezuela; Indonesia; Senegal; Tunisia; Türkiye; Qatar; Egypt; Jordan; Iran; Suba; Kuwait; Guyana; Malaysia; Bangladesh; Saudi Arabia; Bahrain; Namibia; Nicaragua; China; Syria; UAE; Lebanon; Maldives; South Africa and Mozambique.

Most of the Western countries officially stayed away but the Palestinian diaspora made itself felt.

At the evening of the launch of the event, Abbas “praised the role of the Palestinian community in the United States in supporting the Palestinian people, stressing the importance of their work in forming an American public opinion in support of the Palestinian national cause.” He was referring to groups like Students for Justice in Palestine, CAIR, American Muslims for Palestine and Palestine Youth Movement, all of which have been fomenting unrest and antisemitism on American streets.

When addressing the UN at the event, Abbas furthered the point “that the Palestinian narrative of the Nakba has begun to make its way to the awareness of the peoples, who have come to uncover the fraudulence of the Israeli narrative and listening to the Palestinian narrative and their tragedy.” The anti-Zionist and anti-Jewish talk-track is now found in California public schools and on college campuses.

The United Nations led Palestinian Arabs to believe that they will all get to return to towns where ancestors once lived inside of Israel, and the world has begun to accept that narrative as told by local Muslims living in the West. It is a bastard of the fabled “two-state solution” in which a new country of Palestine is purely Arab and Jew-free, and Israel is transformed into a bi-national state. One and one-half states for Arabs and half a state for Jews.

A few weeks after the UN’s 2023 Nakba event, Palestinians polled themselves. A majority stated that they believe that the Jewish State will cease to exist within twenty-five years. Specifically, “two-thirds say Israel will not celebrate the centenary of its establishment, and the majority believes that the Palestinian people will be able in the future to recover Palestine and return its refugees to their homes.“

The logical outcome of such thinking soon became manifest. Why should Palestinians negotiate a compromise with Israel when they believe that they will achieve all of their aims with global support?

The United Nations handed the microphone and held a celebration for jihadists who seek to end the Jewish State, while colleges were educating their student bodies in a radical, antisemitic Palestinian narrative that Israel is a colonialist, imperialist, illegal project. The toxic belief became mainstreamed and realized in the heinous October 7th massacre, celebrated by an unholy socialist-jihadi alliance on Western campuses and streets.

News of the killing of civilians spread quickly and masses gathered in squares. They honked horns and handed out sweets to celebrate the death of their enemies.

Actually, it looks like social media got the headline wrong in click bait: it was Palestinians celebrating the deliberate slaughter of Jews in a synagogue. In the celebrations they shouted “Allah Akbar! Allah Akbar! Millions of martyrs are marching to Jerusalem! Millions of martyrs are marching to Jerusalem!”

Regarding the attack in Rafah, Israel said it is investigating how a secondary fire started from its targeted strike on Hamas commanders. No Israeli crowds gathered to celebrate the death of innocent Arabs.

Hamas leader Yahwa Sinwar issued a call for peace. Actually, no. He called for all Palestinians to use whatever means they have at hand to kill Israeli civilians.

The war between Israel and Palestinian Arabs is terrible. The celebration of the killing of innocents is a tragic deformity in Palestinian culture. One hopes it does not happen in Israel.

“Context” For Attacking People In The West Regarding Situation In The Middle East

Amid the current wave of Jew-hatred in the United States, there have been few incidents of violent attacks and murder thus far. But the vitriol from the socialist-jihadi alliance is still gathering steam as it tries to cement the foundation of the dehumanization of Jews by isolating and de-normalizing interactions with “Zionists.”

It is therefore worth looking at the United Kingdom which has experienced jihadi murder, with the recent sentencing of a Moroccan asylum seeker to life in prison for killing a stranger and attempted killing of an apostate, a man who converted from Islam to Christianity.

In her sentencing, British Judge Bobbie Cheema-Grubb said (34:50):

“Those who genuinely seek refuge in this country will embrace the values we hold dear. These values include respect for the value of each person as an individual with freedom to choose their political opinions without intimidation, and whether to observe a particular faith without fear or oppression. These moral and ethical principles are based on the Judeo-Christian foundation of our social structures. Not all ideas are of equal quality or integrity, but religious and political freedom is something that generations have fought for.

“Given my findings of fact, the murder of Terrence Carney and the attempted murder of Javid Nouri were attempted to subvert those values and to lead our government to pursue a particular course concerning the situation in Palestine by force and fear rather than through democratic means. This means that those offenses were of extreme gravity, even within the context of murder.”

The judge sentenced the jihadi murderer to 45 years in prison because the context for the killing went beyond the particular crime, and was executed to undermine core Western principles of freedom for political opinions and to practice faith without fear or intimidation. People must work within democratic norms to influence governmental action, and not via “force and fear.”

In the United States, formerly “elite” university presidents failed to comprehend such notion. They said before a congressional committee about antisemitism on college campuses, that calling for the genocide of Jews may or may not go against university code of conduct depending on “context.” For the university presidents, “context” depends on whether a call to annihilate Jews is voiced generally, or directed at specific Jews, as if Jews would not be intimidated or fearful by mobs chanting for their annihilation amongst themselves.

People are free to hate; there is no law that jihadists must love Jews or vice versa. However, there are established laws regarding harassing, intimidating and discriminating against people for their beliefs. And it is precisely those laws which are being ignored by law enforcement today as it relates to targeting Jews, as universities cave to the pressure of the mob.

Some Jews are being held as hostages in terrorist tunnels of Gaza as pawns for the political-terrorist group Hamas to barter with the Jewish State to release terrorists. In the Jewish diaspora, the jihadi-socialist alliance is encircling Jews to force administrations and governments to abandon support for Israel and dismantle the Judeo-Christian foundations of their societies.

It’s a jihadi barter: ransoming Jews and Judeo-Christian values for short-term calm. All know it is a matter of “extreme gravity,” yet many leaders feel compelled to tender their values and their Jews, and to let the future address the malignancy.

The Absence Of The Red Cross On The Israeli Hostages

Three more hostages were found in Gaza, dead. All three were killed in the October 7 Hamas massacre, and the Gazan army took the lifeless bodies to the terrorist enclave. They were retrieved in a special operation by the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) on May 24 and brought back to Israel for burial.

The Gazan forces of Hamas, Palestinian Islamic Jihad and others took around 250 people from Israel to Gaza as hostages. In addition to many corpses, were living babies, young women, men and elderly people. Many had illnesses and require medicine and particular care.

The Red Cross has not visited a single one since their abduction.

The international aid agency has a webpage dedicated to the hostages called “What the Red Cross is doing to help hostages taken from Israel?” It states that “For more than seven months, families of hostages held in Gaza have endured unimaginable suffering as they wait for news of their loved ones. Colleagues from the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) have been working round the clock to access the hostages and provide desperate families with information about their loved ones.”

But the international organization makes clear that it can only do so much if the powers of Gaza refuse to work with them. “The plight of the hostages held in Gaza remains one of ICRC’s utmost priorities. They are standing by to facilitate and bring the remaining hostages back to their loved ones. But the situation is extremely difficult. The ICRC does not have information about where the hostages are. Even if the location was known, the ICRC cannot force its way into where hostages are held. And they can only visit hostages and support relief operations if there is an agreement by the parties to the conflict.”

The Israeli government has demanded that the UN and ICRC get aid to the hostages, with its Foreign Minister Eli Cohen saying “We expect the Red Cross to put the issue at the top of the organization’s priority list, to use all levers of pressure, and not rest until it visits all the hostages, assesses their condition, and makes sure they are receiving the medical care they need.” The Anti-Defamation League made similar calls and worked to rally support to pressure the UN and Red Cross.

Otherwise, there’s been very little.

The Biden Administration has focused on making demands of Israel, not the UN or Red Cross. New York Senator Chuck Schumer called for the Israeli government to fall but made no challenge to the Red Cross. Rep. Jamaal Bowman (NY-16) made a call for a ceasefire after October 7 but did not ask for the hostages to be released and then said that the entire idea that Gazans raped Israelis was “a lie.”

Only two American politicians – Congressman Dan Goldman (NY-10) and Congresswoman Becca Balint (VT-AL) – sent a letter to the Red Cross on December 18, 2023, asking why the agency designed to help people in war has done nothing to help the hostages. At a minimum, it should get a “proof of life,” a basic standard in international law.

The failure of the world to even ASK the Red Cross to gain simple information about the hostages is proof that the world fully understands that Gazans stand outside of international law. Engaging with the Gazan government and army would be like asking a spider to translate Homer’s Iliad.

Despite being fully aware that Palestinian Arabs operate completely outside of acceptable norms and international laws, Spain, Ireland and Norway took steps to recognize a Palestinian state on May 28. Some of those countries have a history of combatting jihadi networks. I imagine that they would have been alarmed had United Nations member states openly celebrated and formally recognized the terrorist groups as legitimate.

The entire world has completely internalized that Gazans operate outside of international and humanitarian law, yet many countries propose to legitimize them. Doing so is not simply an act of aggression against Israel but an invitation for terrorism to target those very states.

Demand that President Biden, your senators and members of congress contact the Red Cross to get information about the hostages taken from Israel.

Peacefully Calling For The Annihilation Of Jews

It is quite a bit of vile hypocrisy to watch the same “progressives” who denounced the alt-right marching “peacefully” in Virginia shouting “Jews will not replace us!”, defend woke and jihadi antisemites on college campuses.

At Harvard they yell “Intifada, intifada, come to America!” in a call for violent attacks against Zionists. Repeatedly.

The New York group Decolonize This Place, called to “globalize the intifada,” to come for all diaspora Jews.

They shouted in Times Square, “There is only one solution: intifada revolution!” while Palestinian Arab terrorists were still in Israel killing civilians. To cheers.

Leaders from WESPAC and other members of the socialist-jihadi unholy alliance stood in front of a Jewish day school calling to end Zionism and Zionists “by any means necessary.”

Not to be outdone, the Democratic Socialists of America’s “Anti-Zionist Resolution” was greeted with tremendous support by jihadi groups like the Palestinian Youth Movement which penned a letter “Do not allow Zionism to be normalized within your organization. We urge the DSA to truly demonstrate its commitments to revolutionary internationalism by upholding anti-Zionism.”

Extending the theme, people from the American Muslims for Palestine call for the destruction of both the “Zionist entity” and the United States as evil “imperial projects.”

Since the shouts to kill Jews were only using megaphones, the far-left argue that the chants were “peaceful” even though the rallying call is for the annihilation of a beleaguered minority-minority.

Hitler’s modern disciples are echoing his vile remarks from one hundred years ago when he took the stage at the Hofbrauhaus beer hall in Munich in a call to strip Jews of power, privilege and rights and distribute them to the working class. It laid the very foundation of the Holocaust of the Jews in Europe. Today’s “peaceful protesters” are calling for an encore.

The “peaceful protesters” crave a revolution to dismantle capitalism, and destroy Israel and the United States, coincidentally home to 95% of global Jewry between the two countries.

Shouting “fire” in a crowded theater is a criminal offense for causing imminent harm, while cross-burnings on Black property is illegal for causing intimidation and creating “a pervasive fear in victims that they are a target of violence.” How is shouting “kill the Jews” not condemned clearly and instead marketed as “peaceful protests” by far-left politicians like Rep. Jamaal Bowman?

US Gives $50 Million To Anti-Israel Group Masquerading As Climate Activists

U.S. Senator Shelley Moore Capito (R-WV) shared some disturbing findings on May 21, 2024, that a “$50 million grant was awarded from the EPA through the Democrats’ Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) to “Climate Justice Alliance,” a group that engages in pro-Hamas, anti-Israel, and anti-Semitic activities.”

Sen. Capito was not exaggerating. All over the CJA website are calls to defund Israel, the greenest country in the Middle East. Israel:

  • burns less fossil fuels than the other countries in the region
  • was the first to have a wind farm in the region
  • was the first to have a permanent bike sharing program
  • surpasses even the European Union in recycling plastic
  • was one of only two countries in the world to have more trees entering the 21st century than it did at the start of the 20th century, due to an extensive forestation program
  • brought the world drip irrigation, feeding millions of people in Africa

No matter. CJA leads its website – for an organization that is supposed to handle climate issues in minority neighborhoods in the United States – with a call to “Free Palestine.”

The site has an article with video which sought to tie environmental matters in poor US towns with an “anti-colonial framework” and the “liberation of Palestine.”

In addition to the disgraceful pushing of anti-Israel rhetoric, the CJA funnels money specifically designated for the American environment to left-wing pro-Hamas organizations. The CJA is literally stealing money under the banner of “climate justice” for minorities in America, and pushing destroy Israel propaganda. The group takes the $50 million award and funnels it “to help allies in other movements,” as published on their site.

And CJA has lots of radical members who are part of the socialist-jihadi unholy alliance to destroy Israel and the United States.

One of them is the Movement Generation out of Oakland, CA. In the immediate aftermath of the October 7 brutal massacre of 1,200 people and taking 240 hostages, the group posted that it “honors unconditionally, Palestinian’s right to decolonization and self determination.” It posts to Instagram a commitment to resist Zionism as long as it exists.

Other member groups posted much of the same in the following days, calling for an eradication of Israel and its replacement with a new state of Palestine.

Far-left groups are taking tax-payer dollars meant to help the US environment and repurposing it for a genocidal war against America’s ally, Israel. It’s not just robbing from every American tax-payer and supporting a terrorist group, but depriving impacted communities from actually getting the environmental assistance they need.
