Intifada The Universities

Liberal media has rallied to liberal universities.

Newspapers like The New York Times call the Trump administration’s investigations into campus antisemitism as a targeted attack on institutions of higher learning, with over-sensitive Jews acting as useful pawns. The Times reporting actively omits and whitewashes the calls for violence against Jews to frame the discussion as impinging on minority rights for its remaining readers.

Consider the story of Kehlani, an anti-Israel singer who called “Long live the Intifada” in one of her music videos. She was invited and then disinvited to sing at Cornell when Jewish students found out about her coming to a campus-wide event. Under the banner “Campus Crackdown,” the Times headline was that her “support for Palestinians” and “her stance on the war in Gaza” led to her cancellation, leading to students being disappointed.

The article did not shy away from her call for intifada, and provided context that while some Jews might infer it as a call for violence, pro-Palestinian voices “regard it as a cry for liberation and freedom from oppression.”

At no point in the article did the Times discuss the 1,000 Jews slaughtered in the Second “Intifada,” including babies blown apart in pizza stores by Jew-haters like “journalist” Ahlam Aref Ahmad Al-Tamimi who lives freely in Jordan.

At no point did the Times describe the environment at Cornell, where a professor celebrated the slaughter and rape of people in Israel on October 7, 2023, saying he has “exhilarated” because “Hamas has punctured the [Israel’s] illusion of invincibility” during a student-led protest a week later off-campus. Russell Rickford was invited back to campus to teach this 2024/5 academic year according to Insider Higher Ed, because his comments were made “in his free time.”

The Times did not write about student Patrick Dai who threatened to kill Jews (in his free time), who was sentenced to 21-months in jail in August 2024.

Instead, the article highlighted “a queer person of color” who was “disappointed” at the cancellation of Kehlani’s performance. It listed a “Gambian-British citizen” who left the country, fearing “possible deportation.”

Why omit the targeting of Jews in the story about antisemitism?

Because the media wants to define antisemitism by its own distorted lexicon, and to shield the systemic Jew-hatred on campus from the Trump administration. If Jews are intimidated, harassed or unable to enjoy campus life, that’s too bad because any modifications might strip fun and opportunities from victims of preference.

According to the ADL, antisemitic attacks in the US reached record levels in 2024. Campus antisemitism jumped 84% from 2023 to 2024, accounting for 18% of all incidents, also an all-time high.

The Times would not write about that either.

Americans are fed distorted media which sanitizes institutions rife with Jew-hatred. The Times raises alarms about “campus crackdowns” because Trump is shattering universities’ “illusion of invincibility,” of tramping Jewish rights with billions of taxpayer dollars.

There really may be only one solution: a revolution to intifada the universities.

Context For “Intifada”

Hamas Defenders (like the Arab world and universities) and their defenders (politicians and progressive Jews) – HDDs – have tried to reeducate the West about both the English and Arabic languages.

At congressional hearings, HDDs told senators that “Intifada” just means “shaking off” and did not mean the slaughter of Jews, despite the Second Intifada killing 1,000 Jews – almost all civilians – and resulting in more restrictions on Palestinians, like the Security Barrier which ended that intifada.

Those hearings had the head of the Arab American Institute also share that “From the River to the Sea, Palestine will be free,” is not a call for killing Jews but just the liberation of local Arabs.

That same speaker said that “Glory to our martyrs” plastered on buildings might only be interpreted as antisemitic if the buildings were synagogues or Jewish centers, but simply free speech if it was in public where Jews would see it going to school.

WESPAC-backed Palestine Youth Movement masked members plastering “Glory To Our Martyrs” on top of the map of Israel, at train stations in New York

HDDs said there was no hate crime when professors said the massive slaughter of Jews on October 7 was “exhilarating” to a crowd, or when students held signs pointing at Jews that read “al Qassam next targets.” Not just not a crime, but not even hate.

They accuse Jews of being too sensitive.

When HDDs accuse Israel of committing “genocide” and behaving like “Nazis” committing “ethnic cleansing” while engaged in “apartheid,” they attempt to strip the victims of European and Arab countries’ atrocities of their history and memory and desecrate the memories of 6 million Jews.

As HDDs refer to the raping of Jewish women, burning families alive and kidnapping Holocaust survivors a form of “justified resistance,” they seek to insult the memories of the Jewish dead and have the world condemn the innocent as evil “occupiers.”

NYC mob waving flags of Palestinian terrorist groups including Hamas and Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine chanting for “Intifada revolution” in front of exhibit about the Gazan slaughter of innocents at the Nova Music Festival in Israel on October 7, 2023

It is an attempted institutional gaslighting of Jews.

When HDDs testify that chants like “there is only one solution, Intifada Revolution,” require “context” and must be “targeted and pervasive” in order for school administrations to even consider taking action, they don’t pause to consider Jews being locked in rooms for their safety or fleeing campus because schools won’t protect them. FOR MONTHS.

Jewish students in downtown NYC barricade themselves in a library from a horde

They believe that Jews are too powerful to be at risk and are crying wolf.

The Democratic Socialists have declared every White person and Israeli part of the colonialist regime and are therefore all guilty and thereby legitimate targets for violence. Even babies.

Democratic Socialists of America siding with Hamas arguing that all forms of violence are legitimate in an effort of “liberation”

Jewish HDDs (they are mostly in the second ‘D’ in HDD) accuse their fellow Jews of being tools of antisemitic Republicans who are using them to dismantle the education system and suppress free speech. They add that those Jews who complain about antisemitism are right-wing racists who are putting international and minority groups at risk by complaining to authorities.

These Jewish members of the socialist-jihadi alliance don’t fret acting as fig leaves for genocidal antisemitic comrades.

That has become the American landscape into which Jews step out of their front doors every day. Walking the streets, quietly wearing a yellow ribbon for the hostages held by Gazans and members of the United Nations, they are accosted with accusations that Jews and Zionists are evil and deserve neither dignity nor empathy. Even more, that Jews must relinquish their history and rights or face the firing squad before a cheering crowd.

Diaspora Jews are being groomed for slaughter. The operators of the slaughterhouses are in the awkward early days of learning how to keep the human cattle from acting up as they get processed. For the moment, they are playing with language and attempting to invert victim and assailant to enlist sympathy from the masses to join in the massacre.

Watching their growing ranks including progressive and anti-Zionist Jews as well as politicians, empowers the HDD movement that it is on the right track.

Members of Jewish Voice for Peace take over Trump Tower on March 13, 2025

The context of the Global Intifada is that Jews and the Jewish State are considered part of the White Imperialist and Capitalist world. All are inherently guilty and therefore should not be allowed to defend themselves. HDDs are telling you that to be on the right side of history, everyone has to take up the cause and confront Zionists and White people wherever they are.

The pathetic joke is that the mantra is being stoked principally by foreign actors of the Global South on American soil under our own noses.

American universities are in trouble.

Fewer people are going to college and graduate schools. Some of the drop-off relates to people having fewer children so the absolute number of people going to school has been declining. But the percentage of students going from high school to advanced degrees has also fallen considerably. Even in the years before the pandemic, the decline in high schoolers going to college dropped from 70% in 2016 to 63% in 2020. The figure dropped to 61.4% in 2023, with men being the most likely to skip college with only 57.6% opting for that education. The rates for Whites and Blacks were roughly the same at 59.9% and 59.6%, respectively, with Hispanics being lower at 51.8% and Asians surpassing every group at 84.7%. The overall impact can be seen in 2010 college enrollment of 10.2 million women and 7.8 million men, dropping to 8.9 million (-12.7%) and 6.5 million (-16.7%), respectively in 2021.

The reasons that most Americans are skipping college include a strong job market paying good wages, the desire to avoid college debt, people pursuing jobs that don’t require advanced degrees, and the ability to learn many skills online.

To address the declining enrollment, universities are taking many more international students. In the 2023/24 academic year, U.S. universities had over 1.1 million foreign students, a record. These students mostly came from the “Global South,” the emerging, principally non-White economies. The majority of students came from southeast Asia including India (331k), China (277k), Nepal, Vietnam, Bangladesh and Taiwan. No European country was in the top ten. The only countries in the top ten which are part of the Global North were South Korea and Canada. The countries with the largest spike in students over the past year were all from the Global South including Ghana (+45%), Bangladesh (+26%), India (+23%), Iran (+15%) and Nigeria (+13%).

Global North in blue and Global South in red

The student exchange is not reciprocal. Only 280,000 Americans studied abroad and the majority (64%) went to Europe, with Italy, the United Kingdom, Spain, and France dominating the destinations. Two-thirds of those students identified as White.

The Americans abroad tended to go during their undergraduate years, spending just a few months away (only 2.4% went for a year). They tended to be women (67%), and studied business and management (20%) and social sciences (18%). This is in sharp contrast to international students coming to the United States who were typically graduate students pursuing a degree in STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) at 56%.

The international students are older and come for longer periods of time. They often marry and have kids while pursuing their degrees, establishing a foothold in America, while Americans-in-Europe simply have a quick experience away from home.

The universities are very happy to have these paying students fill their classrooms which are being abandoned by Americans. In 2019 and 2020, 49% of all STEM master’s degrees and 57% of all STEM doctorate degrees were conferred to international students. The economics of running courses and an institution without half the students would have required eliminating courses and teachers, and perhaps shutting whole departments.

Technology companies want and need these skilled students as future employees. Google, Apple and Microsoft count on new STEM graduates to fill their ranks each year and lobby the government accordingly. Open Doors estimates that these international students contribute roughly $50 billion to the U.S. economy, or about $5,000 per student.

The U.S. government plays a heavy hand in all of this, not only seeking to salvage American university programs and building feeders to the American technology landscape, but on a political level as well.

Two situations highlight U.S. politics driving international students to these shores: Saudi Arabia and Israel.

As the United States ramped up pressure on the Islamic Republic of Iran regarding its nuclear program from 2007 to 2015, the U.S. sought to reassure its ally, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia which is a foe of Iran. During those years, the number of Saudi students in American universities climbed from just a few thousand to over 61,000. The Saudi students learned courses like petroleum engineering to better extract and process oil, as well as nuclear physics to be able to build nuclear power on their own. Just after the nuclear agreement was signed, the number of Saudi students dropped significantly, down to under 15,000 in the 2023/24 academic year.

To highlight the insanity of the figures above, consider that there are roughly 5.5 million Saudis between the ages of 15 and 24. That means that the 61,287 Saudi students in American colleges in 2015/6 equalled one out of every 90 young Saudis studying in America. By comparison, the same calculation yields one out of 4,400 young people from Bangladesh and one out of 700 young Vietnamese studying in the U.S. Clearly the U.S. was trying to allay Saudi fears by delivering American technological know-how.

American politics playing out for international students from Israel is more explicit, and targets high school students, as long as they are Arabs.

On September 12, 2023, the U.S. embassy in Israel posted an advertisement that the U.S. State Department “is seeking a group of Arab citizens of Israel secondary school students to participate in a Study- in-the-USA initiative for high school students during the 2024-2025 school year.” (bold in original) It is backed by the YES Program Scholarship which gives “many countries with significant Muslim population an opportunity to study at American high schools and live with American host families for one academic year,” funding “all expenses in connection with the study tour including airfare, room and board, pocket money and most other costs.” It is part of the broad U.S. policy to make amends for the “War on Terror,” and selected only non-Jews from the Jewish State to learn in America.

The cherry-picking of certain types of international students demands a deeper exploration of the segments of the Global South that are in American schools.

The Global South has two principal regions as it relates to American immigrants: Latin America and everywhere else.

The United States was primarily populated by European migration from 1840 to 1920. World War I, the Great Depression and World War II stemmed immigration for several decades before it picked up with the 1965 Immigration and Nationality Act. Since that time, 49% of immigrants have come from Latin America and 27% from Asia. These groups are very different. The typical immigrant from Latin America had little formalized education (only 9% of Mexicans in the US in 2022 had a college degree). That compared to those from South Asia where 72% had a college degree, 55% from Central Asia and 49% from East and Southeast Asia.

Those coming from Latin America typically came for jobs not requiring a college degree while those coming from Asia came with degrees or obtained them at American universities.

The demographics between Latin America and Asia are also very different regarding religion.

About 50 million Muslims live in the Global North which has a population of roughly 1.6 billion, or about 3% of the population. It is even lower in Latin America which has roughly 4 million Muslims out of a population of 665 million, or about 0.6%. That is is sharp contrast to roughly 1.8 billion Muslims living in the Global South with a population of 6.4 billion, or roughly 28%, or 31% x-Latin America. If one were to exclude China as well which has around 25 million Muslims, the Global South is over 41% Muslim (x-China and x-Latin America).

While China does not resemble much of the Global South in both religious demographics and not having a history of European countries on its soil, it is now in an aggressive competitive battle against the Global North for power. As such, China is leveraging its regional position alongside the Global South to wage a cultural and economic war against the West.

China and the Global South have advanced efforts to promote anarchy in the United States alongside far-left non-White movements like Justice Democrats. The calls to Defund the Police and Abolish ICE were designed to tear down walls of protection and flood the United States with people from the Global South. The chants to “Globalize the Intifada” on American campuses and streets are calls to dismantle Western civilization’s capitalism and support for the Jewish State, with a broad redistribution of wealth and power to the preferred people in the Global South.

“Intifada” protest at Columbia University streets

When people in the Global North hear the chants of “Intifada,” they recognize the vile terrorism of Palestinian Arabs blowing up buses and pizza stores in the Second Intifada. However, the Global South considers it an Arabic term meaning “shaking off” the colonialism and imperialism of the West. The South’s overriding desire of taking on western civilization overwhelms the facts that Jews are indigenous to the land of Israel and that the Intifada is a premeditated violent attack on civilians. The Islamist Global South rallies to its coreligionists.

Banner with “Intifada” hung outside Columbia University

The population on America’s campuses does not resemble the rest of America. The disproportionate number of Asians and Muslims enrolled at America’s universities come from regions which are in active competition with the West, and embrace the Stateless Arabs from Palestine’s (SAPs) jihadi war against the Jews. The universities which enroll the international students of the Global South, attempt to tie them with American minority groups whose ancestors originated from those regions. Remarkably, a cause like Black Lives Matter which has nothing to do with the Global South, becomes hitched to the Israeli Defense Forces.

These international students principally come to a few states led by California, New York, Texas, Massachusetts, Illinois and Pennsylvania. It is not a coincidence that Department of Education’s Office for Civil Rights is launching an investigation against 60 colleges and universities which principally are located in those states.

Sen. Josh Hawley (R-MO) on hearing about antisemitism at universities showcasing “Intifada”

The declining enrollment at American universities has led to them being taken over by international students from Asia and Africa. This has led directly to antisemitism on campuses and in the streets. It was true before the October 7 massacre and has only accelerated since then.

New York City march to “Globalize the Intifada” in September 2021, two years before the October 7 massacre by Gazans

Americans and the Global North are watching the initial battles of the Global South on the beachheads of American universities and are dumbstruck. The West would be well served to reevaluate those international students admitted to study here, and use this time to prepare for the battles to come.

Intifada The Intifada

A prevailing discordant theme among pro-Palestinian protestors is that they are mourning the loss of life and destruction of Gaza, while simultaneously calling “Intifada, Intifada.” The two statements are incompatible.

Mourning the loss of life is something that all people can understand. It is a sign of basic empathy to be upset by death, especially young civilians who are inherently innocent.

The current strategy of pro-Palestinians is to use those feelings as an on-ramp to the Diaspora Intifada, to taunt, threaten, intimidate and discriminate against Jews, even though mass death is a core part of the strategy of those same people calling for an Intifada.

Consider Omar Suleiman who was given the podium by Rep. Nancy Pelosi to address Congress in 2019. He called for a ‘Third Intifada’ several times, and now condemns both the US and Israel for the very deaths for which he advocates.

The Diaspora Intifada is attempting to enlist those who prioritize empathy (typically liberals and progressives) onto their jihadi platform. It bypasses facts and reason and pulls at heartstrings, drowning the new recruits in an empathy swamp of toxic antisemitism.

By all means, hold a vigil and be sad for ALL people who have died if you like. But chanting “Intifada” and “by any means necessary” are genocidal calls for mass murder, the exact opposite of the empathy you claim to champion.

Palestinians are not “resorting to violence” but waging a war to destroy the Jewish State. They have long desired a region free of Jews and support the murder of Israeli civilians. You are either for such proposition or against it. You are either reactively sad about death or proactively urging for mass genocide.

In the Middle East, the Iranian Proxy Intifada is being fought militarily, and Israel is correct in using aggressive force to repel those attempting a genocide of the Jews in the region. Outside of the region, one needs to politically and legally prosecute those advocating to the slaughter of Jews, and extract friends drowning in the empathy swamp of dead Palestinians.

American Jews fear for their basic safety.

They are scared when praying in their synagogues, visiting Jewish community centers and when they go out to dine. They are scared when they walk on the street or attend classes at school.

In April 2024, the rabbi at Columbia University told the Jewish students to leave campus and return home in an email stating that the school’s policies “have made it clear that Columbia University’s Public Safety and the NYPD cannot guarantee Jewish students’ safety.” It has continued into the Fall 2024 semester, when another New York City school, CUNY’s Baruch College told Jewish students that they could not hold a Rosh Hashana celebration because the school could not “guarantee their security.”

New York Post article blasting the City University of New York being unable to protect basic Jewish human rights

The intimidation, harassment, denial of Jewish human rights and antisemitic attacks since the October 7 attack on the Jewish State of Israel have skyrocketed, especially at universities.

The U.S. House of Representatives held several hearings about the horrific rise in antisemitic attacks at universities. Rep. Foxx (R-NC), Chairwoman of the House Committee on Education and the Workforce, was tireless in her efforts to expose the systemic Jew-hatred prevalent in the institutions – or antisemitic ambivalence, should one choose to be charitable – which receive billions of dollars of government handouts. The Senate’s Republicans wanted a similar panel but are the minority party so could not force a discussion on the topic.

Instead, Sen. Dick Durbin (D-IL), Chair of the Senate Committee on the Judiciary, held a generic discussion on September 17, 2024 on “A Threat to Justice Everywhere: Stemming the Tide of Hate Crimes in America.” He and fellow Democrats pointed out that hate crimes against all groups are a problem, just as shrill members of the House like Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) and Rep. Jamaal Bowman (D-NY) objected to the special hearing on antisemitism during the Foxx hearings in April 2024.

Despite the Democratic chair calling for a generic hearing on hate crimes, he pulled a narrow panel which consisted of a Muslim Arab, a Jewish rabbi, and a liberal apologist for antisemitism. There was no one there to talk about the most prevalent hate crime – attacks on Black people – revealing the thin veneer of the title meant to obfuscate the obvious problem of antisemitism.

But Democratic politicians were loathe to simply discuss rampant antisemitism without ALSO discussing the much less prevalent anti-Muslim hate crimes. Every Democratic senator on the panel made a point of discussing a wide range of hate crimes to appear balanced, even though the scale of Jew-hatred dwarves hate crime against every other group, and has for years, while Republican senators were laser-focused on antisemitic attacks.

Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) was apoplectic about the refusal to hold hearings specifically on antisemitism (start 1:55:50). He showed the steady rise of antisemitic hate crimes in the U.S. since 2014, with a terrible escalation starting at the beginning of the Biden Administration in 2021 and then again in 2022, before skyrocketing in 2023.

Cruz demanded that more attention be paid to Jew-hatred, a vile form of hatred that has led to genocide. He called college campuses vile “incubators of hatred of Jews,” and went on to list comments by students and student organizations that threatened Jews, including a Jewish student being told to “go back to the gas chambers.”

Cruz also called out the administrations such as M.I.T., which refused to prosecute some of the antisemitic agitators because if the school did, “the students risked losing their visas and being deported.” As he went on to criticize the Democratic administration and local Democratic politicians for refusing to enforce the law because they feared the “pro-Hamas wing of the party,” anti-Israel people in the audience began to protest (2:01:00). The senator concluded his remarks by noting that no university has yet lost federal funding despite being clearly in non-compliance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964.

Sen. Josh Hawley (R-MO) was similarly angered by the unchecked Jew hatred at universities. He showcased a poster of a student holding a Palestinian flag and a sign which read “THERE IS ONLY ONE SOLUTION,” a reference to the Nazi’s “Final Solution” to exterminate Jews. He showed another with a banner “LONG LIVE THE INTIFADA.”

Maya Berry of the Arab American Institute (AAI) testified that she objected to automatically inferring that the term “intifada” meant the violent slaughter of infidels, such as the brutal “Second Intifada” in Israel where Muslim Palestinian Arabs blew up buses and ice cream parlors full of kids, killing over 1,000 people. Berry said (2:10:15) that intifada “literally just means ‘to shake off’ or ‘get rid of’.” She would not agree that intifada necessarily means the violent destruction of Israel, while it could mean that. She essentially educated the committee that ‘intifada’ is an umbrella Arabic word that could mean a silent protest or the raping and beheading of infidels. Lots of in between.

Unmentioned in the hearing were the perpetrators of the antisemitic attacks. Sen. Durbin mentioned “white supremacists” repeatedly in his comments but no one directly pointed to the pro-Hamas extremists in the fringes of the Muslim and socialist communities who are overwhelmingly the perpetrators of Jew-hatred crimes today.

Whether it’s CAIR-backed protestors taunting Jews at the doorsteps of synagogues or during the anniversary of the October 7 massacre, or threatening non-Jews who don’t abide by the fanatical jihadist credo, the Diaspora Intifada is here.

The president of Rutgers University, Jonathan Holloway who is not Jewish, told a House committee in May 2024 that he did not believe that Israel is a genocidal state and that “intifada” and “from the river to the sea” are calls for violence. He and his family were subsequently threatened and he announced his resignation last week due to fear for his and his family’s safety.

Rutgers President Jonathan Holloway announcing his resignation due to fear for his family’s safety

The Intifadas in Israel are genocidal jihadist attacks to slaughter Jews and destroy Israel. The Diaspora Intifada is more “nuanced” as AAI’s Berry said, and may mean violence and rape or it may simply be taunting and harassment.

It definitely means fear.

Peacefully Calling For The Annihilation Of Jews

It is quite a bit of vile hypocrisy to watch the same “progressives” who denounced the alt-right marching “peacefully” in Virginia shouting “Jews will not replace us!”, defend woke and jihadi antisemites on college campuses.

At Harvard they yell “Intifada, intifada, come to America!” in a call for violent attacks against Zionists. Repeatedly.

The New York group Decolonize This Place, called to “globalize the intifada,” to come for all diaspora Jews.

They shouted in Times Square, “There is only one solution: intifada revolution!” while Palestinian Arab terrorists were still in Israel killing civilians. To cheers.

Anti-Zionists in New York City calling for the destruction of Israel as news of the massacre emerged

Leaders from WESPAC and other members of the socialist-jihadi unholy alliance stood in front of a Jewish day school calling to end Zionism and Zionists “by any means necessary.”

Not to be outdone, the Democratic Socialists of America’s “Anti-Zionist Resolution” was greeted with tremendous support by jihadi groups like the Palestinian Youth Movement which penned a letter “Do not allow Zionism to be normalized within your organization. We urge the DSA to truly demonstrate its commitments to revolutionary internationalism by upholding anti-Zionism.”

Extending the theme, people from the American Muslims for Palestine call for the destruction of both the “Zionist entity” and the United States as evil “imperial projects.”

Since the shouts to kill Jews were only using megaphones, the far-left argue that the chants were “peaceful” even though the rallying call is for the annihilation of a beleaguered minority-minority.

Hitler’s modern disciples are echoing his vile remarks from one hundred years ago when he took the stage at the Hofbrauhaus beer hall in Munich in a call to strip Jews of power, privilege and rights and distribute them to the working class. It laid the very foundation of the Holocaust of the Jews in Europe. Today’s “peaceful protesters” are calling for an encore.

The “peaceful protesters” crave a revolution to dismantle capitalism, and destroy Israel and the United States, coincidentally home to 95% of global Jewry between the two countries.

Shouting “fire” in a crowded theater is a criminal offense for causing imminent harm, while cross-burnings on Black property is illegal for causing intimidation and creating “a pervasive fear in victims that they are a target of violence.” How is shouting “kill the Jews” not condemned clearly and instead marketed as “peaceful protests” by far-left politicians like Rep. Jamaal Bowman?

Columbia Does Not Consider The Mental Health Of Jews

On April 30, 2024, while many pro-Hamas students at Columbia University chanted for an “intifada revolution” to destroy the Jewish State and kill diaspora Jews, and as other students broke into and took over one of the school buildings, the university issued a statement about the takeover being disruptive and “a noisy distraction that interferes with teaching.” In taking action, the university said “this is about responding to the actions of the protestors, not their cause.” The full statement is here:

  • Early this morning, a group of protestors occupied Hamilton Hall on the Morningside Campus. We regret that protesters have chosen to escalate the situation through their actions. Our top priority is restoring safety and order on our campus.
  • We made it very clear yesterday the work of the University cannot be endlessly interrupted by protesters who violate the rules. Continuing to do so will be met with clear consequences. Protesters have chosen to escalate to an untenable situation–vandalizing property, breaking doors and windows, and blockading entrances–and we are following through with the consequences we outlined yesterday.
  • Students occupying the building face expulsion.
  • Protesters were informed that their participation in the encampment violated numerous university policies. We gave everyone at the encampment the opportunity to leave peacefully. By committing to abide by University policies, they would be allowed to complete the semester.
  • Students who did not commit to the terms we offered are now being suspended. Those students will be restricted from all academic and recreational spaces and may only access their individual residence. Seniors will be ineligible to graduate.
  • This is about responding to the actions of the protesters, not their cause.
  • As we said yesterday, disruptions on campus have created a threatening environment for many of our Jewish students and faculty and a noisy distraction that interferes with teaching, learning, and preparing for final exams, and contributes to a hostile environment in violation of Title VI.
  • The safety of our community remains our top priority.
  • As we prepare for a commencement to honor our students’ achievements, we continue to urge the protesters to remove the encampment and voluntarily disperse so as to not deprive their fellow students of this momentous occasion.
  • We have followed through on our very clear warnings of consequences and are initiating disciplinary action against those who continue to violate our rules.

Imagine the university downplaying racism if students chanted that gay people should be kicked off campus or Hispanics should be sent to wherever they came from. What if people chanted that Muslims are pathological killers and the United States should bomb Iran and neighboring Muslim countries out of existence. Imagine thousands of students denying that Black people were ever slaves in America and inventing an entire new origin story for African-Americans in the center of campus.

Would protestors’ free speech rights be prioritized? Would the university’s statements be packed with excuses that the school does not have any issue with the protestors chants? Or would the university clearly denounce the slogans and give priority to the mental health of the targets of the venom?

Columbia University well understands mental health and has a page on its website devoted to it called CopeColumbia. One section is devoted towards “Racism, Stress and Coping.” It discusses systemic racism faced by African-Americans, and impacts on health outcomes. It is copied here – except edited to address rampant Jew-hatred taking place at Columbia today – to show the disparity in how little the universe has extended itself for its Jewish faculty and student body.

The stress and trauma of racism antisemitism in our society for communities of color Jews is informed by a long history of violence and social injustice. Provided here are resources centered around racial religious disparities and promoting healing, growth, and avenues for change.

The COVID-19 pandemic has accentuated significant health disparities for Black and Latinx Jewish communities in the U.S. Populations of color have been vilified as having caused and profited from contracted COVID-19 at higher rates than White individuals; with greater morbidity and mortality.1,2 We are learning that systemic racism antisemitism is a major factor in these disparate outcomes: a disproportionate number of African-American and Latino Jewish individuals work in settings in the medical profession that are high risk for exposure, and they are more likely to be accused of profiting from the pandemic and medical treatment rather than thanked for efforts to turn back the global scourge of lack medical insurance, the means to be tested for coronavirus, to be adequately treated for underlying conditions, or to receive early treatment for COVID-19.2

The stress and trauma of racism antisemitism in our society for communities of color faith is informed by a long history of violence and social injustice. The effects of systemic racism antisemitism, especially on African-Americans Jews in our country, permeates our society with consequences including negative outcomes for physical and mental well-being. Images, media portrayals and public discourse have triggered post-traumatic stress symptoms across in many of us, with the heaviest toll being that on racial the very small Jewish minorities. Protests have sparked a discussion most feel is long overdue to address the effects of oppression on African-Americans Jews after the senseless murders of George Floyd and Breonna Taylor in the Pittsburgh Tree of Life Synagogue, Poway Synagogue and kosher store in Jersey City. We are aware that these conversations, although emotionally charged, are necessary for change; take courage and bravery to achieve a more racially religiously just society.

The mental emotional health effects of racism antisemitism are vast. The inability for communities of color faith to access mental health protective resources creates a barrier to basic safety the path of treatment and recovery. Lack of resources a sizable population coupled with diminished political clout distrust of the medical field due to past transgressions towards African-Americans, in particular, and the stigma associated with mental health treatment in communities of color create a perfect storm for untreated intergenerational mental health physical and emotional illness.”

Columbia University understands that Jewish students on campus are deeply traumatized not only by the worst massacre of Jews since the Holocaust on October 7 in Israel, but that the barbarity is celebrated by Columbia faculty and students who gleefully taunt them as they try to attend class. While the school makes efforts to systematically change the school’s culture and curricula to address the mental and emotional impacts of racism, it dismisses vulgar antisemitic slogans as “a noisy distraction that interferes with teaching, learning, and preparing for final exams.

Antisemitism is so deeply entrenched in America’s universities, they cannot even pause to recognize Jewish trauma even as they haul away protestors looking to destroy the Jewish State.

Terrifying Trifecta Of Anti-Zionism

The poorly named “Second Intifada” from September 2000 until 2004, was a period of Palestinian jihadi pogroms against Jews in Israel. Hundreds of Arab attackers bombed buses and ice cream stores, stabbed and ran over women and children in the street, and stoned cars carrying families. Well over 1,000 Jews were killed in their war on innocents.

The Palestinian community was very supportive of the murders. A December 2001 PCPSR poll of Palestinians found that 22.7% and 57.4% of West Bank Arabs “strongly supported” and “supported” armed attacks against Israelis, respectively, with 61.4% believing violence against Israeli civilians inside of Israel could achieve “Palestinian rights” more than negotiations. As such, the Palestinian slaughter of Jewish civilians continued.

The “Second Intifada” / Two Percent War came to a close when Israel built a security barrier which limited the entry of Palestinian Arabs into Israel. When Israel handed Gaza to the Palestinians in 2005 after assurances from the United States that it would support Israel’s annexation of parts of the West Bank, the center of Palestinian attacks mostly came from Gaza, not the West Bank.

That has now changed.

While the majority of Gazans have consistently favored killing Israeli civilians, the period before March 2021 had only about 25% of West Bank Arabs supporting murdering Jews inside of Israel. (To say “only” to one-out-of-four Palestinians in favor of killing innocent Jews is a relatively good figure is appalling, and goes to the jihadi mindset prevalent in the region). The figure jumped to about one-out-of-three after May 2021, when Israel made attempts to evict Palestinian squatters in Shiekh Jarrah in Jerusalem, and Hamas launched rockets into Israel in protest. According to the PCPSR poll in June 2021, Palestinians concluded that Hamas won the battle as Israel halted the eviction, meaning, violence pays off.

Between June 2021 and September 2022, the six PCPSR polls had West Bank Arab support for killing innocent Israeli Jews between 26% and 35%. Then the December 2022 poll showed a step up to 46% support and March 2023 jumped further to 57% support for murdering Jews inside of Israel. There were a few reasons for the jumps.

In the three months before the December 2022 poll, several events happened:

  • all Palestinian factions met in Algiers and voted to reconcile and hold new elections
  • Israel elected Benjamin Netanyahu to be Prime Minister again with a coalition of ultra-Orthodox Jews and those backing Jewish rights east of the 1949 Armistice Lines (E49AL)
  • The newest terrorist groups in the West Bank, the “Lions’ Den” and Jenin Battalion became known in widespread media coverage

The pollsters also believed that the World Cup in Qatar was a factor, noting that it helped “restore Palestinian public trust in the Arab World after years of disappointment.” Further, it added that “in light of the escalating armed clashes in the West Bank and the near formation of a right wing and extreme government in Israel, the Palestinian public becomes more hardline while indicating a greater confidence in the efficacy of armed struggle.” (Note that Arabs use the phrase “armed struggle” to defend the reality of the open slaughter of innocents.)

The three months before the March 2023 poll were not as eventful, but did see the point blank shooting of two Israeli brothers who drove into the Arab town of Huwara, and the subsequent revenge attack by Israelis on the town. The pollsters concluded that “In light of the recent events in Huwara and the northern West Bank, Palestinian public attitudes become more militant as support for armed struggle rises,… and for the first time since the creation of the PA, a majority says that its dissolution or collapse serves the interest of the Palestinian people.

The more moderate West Bank Arabs have now joined the jihadists in the terrorist enclave of Gaza to conclude that the Oslo Accords and the creation of the Palestinian Authority does not serve their interests. They have decided that the best way to secure their “rights” is via “armed struggle”, now with more arms, and the belief that more people will support their cause than during the scorched earth pogroms of 2000-2004.

They have reasons to believe in their latest jihad.

Not only has Israel still not evicted the Palestinian Arab squatters in homes in Sheikh Jarrah, for the first time ever, Democrats in the United States have more sympathy for Palestinian Arabs than Israelis, according to a March 2023 Gallup poll. Left-wing politicians are leaning into the poll, such as Senator Chris Murphy (D-CT) and Representative Jamaal Bowman (D-NY16), now pushing to condition military aid to Israel.

That will likely encourage Palestinian Arabs to continue their violent attacks against Jews in Israel and the West Bank, and anti-Semites/ anti-Zionists to attack Jews around the world.

It’s a terrifying trifecta: for the first time since the Second Intifada, the majority of Palestinians favor killing Jews; for the first time ever, a majority of Palestinians favor dissolving the Palestinian Authority; and also for the first time ever, more Democrats favor Palestinians over Israelis.

The movement to “Globalize the Intifada” began to gather steam right after the May 2021 skirmish as Palestinians concluded that violence pays off. It is now reaching the boiling point as people conclude that governmental-led society is broken and should be abandoned.

It is called anarchy, and is coming for the Jews first.

New York Times’ Muslim Anti-Semitism Washing

The New York Times decided to print the obituary of Yusuf al-Qaradawi, a fiery leader of the Muslim Brotherhood, an advocate for violence and vocal anti-Semite. The paper opted to use a balanced approach in covering his life saying some thought of him as “a moderate” while others considered him “an extremist.”

The Times did not offer any commentary about his anti-Semitism nor calls for a global jihad against the Jews.

New York Times obituary on fiery anti-Semite never discussed his Jew hatred.

In regards to this violent bigot’s views about Jews, all the Times would offer was “During the second Palestinian intifada, or uprising, in 2001, he declared that suicide bombings by Palestinians against Israelis were permissible.

Were permissible? He actively encouraged a global jihad against the Jews, he didn’t simply say killing Jews was allowed during their Arab pogroms.

Here are his statements that the Times ignored:

Los Angeles Times, May 2001

[Suicide bombings] are heroic martyrdom operations, and the heroes who carry them out … are driven by an overwhelming desire to cast terror and fear into the hearts of the oppressors.

AFP, June 2001

These martyr operations led by the Palestinian fighters against Israel spring from resistance and all Muslims who kill to defend their land, honor and religion are martyrs.”

Al Jazeera, January 2009:

  • Allah lies in wait for [Jews], and He will not forsake [Islam]. He will not allow [Jews] to continue to spread corruption in the land. We wait for the revenge of Allah to descend upon them, and, Allah willing, it will be by our own hands…This is my message to the treacherous Jews, who have never adhered to what is right.
  • Oh Allah, take your enemies, the enemies of Islam. Oh Allah, take the Jews, the treacherous aggressors. Oh Allah, take this profligate, cunning, arrogant band of people. Oh Allah, they have spread much tyranny and corruption in the land. Pour Your wrath upon them.
  • Throughout history, Allah has imposed upon the [Jews] people who would punish them for their corruption. The last punishment was carried out by Hitler. By means of all the things he did to them – even though they [the Jews] exaggerated this issue – he [Hitler] managed to put them in their place. This was divine punishment for them.

The Atlantic, February 2011

  • The conquerors [of Palestine, the Jews] are those with the greatest enmity toward the believers [Muslims], and they are supported by the strongest state on earth – the USA, and by the world Jewish community.
  • The least the Muslim can do is to boycott the enemies’ goods.”
  • Receiving enemies in our own countries and visiting them in the occupied lands would remove such a psychological barrier that keeps us away from them, and would bridge the gap that keeps the desire for Jihad against them kindled in the hearts of the Ummah.”
  • We believe that the battle between us and the Jews is coming … Such a battle is not driven by nationalistic causes; it is rather driven by religious incentives. This battle … is between Muslims and Jews… This battle will occur between the collective body of Muslims and the collective body of Jews.
  • It [is] obligatory upon every Muslim wherever he is to defend Jerusalem, and al-Aqsa Mosque. This is an obligation upon all Muslims to participate in defending Jerusalem with their souls, money, and all that they possess, otherwise a punishment from Allah shall descend on the whole nation.

The New York Times recast a man who praised Hitler’s annihilation of European Jewry and sought a violent religious war of 1.8 billion Muslims against a paltry 15 million Jews, as simply a supporter of the second Palestinian “intifada.” It is a vile recasting of sickening Muslim jihadi anti-Semitism as supporting violent Palestinian national aspirations.

Paying to Murder Jews: From Iraq, Saudi Arabia and Iran to the Palestinian Authority

On December 5, 2017, the US House of Representatives voted to approve the Taylor Force Act. Congress finally reached a point where it decided to use some financial pressure on the Palestinian Authority to stop the incitement to terror. Specifically, it sought to end the PA’s financial payments to the families of Palestinian Arab terrorists who were imprisoned or killed.

The “Manna-for-Murderers” has a sad history in the Arab world, particularly as it relates to funding the murder of Israeli Jews.

Iraq

Early in the Second Intifada which began in September 2000 at the urging of PA head Yasser Arafat (fungus be upon him), Iraq began sending $10,000 to families of Palestinian Arab suicide bombers. In March 2002, Iraq upped the amount to $25,000 per family. US Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld was appalled at the actions of Saddam Hussein and said:

“Here is an individual who is the head of a country, Iraq, who has proudly, publicly made a decision to go out and actively promote and finance human sacrifice for families that will have their youngsters kill innocent men, women and children…. I am simply trying to let the people of Iraq understand what their leadership is doing, to let the people of the Middle East and the rest of the world … know what is in fact being done to arm young people and send them out to blow up restaurants and shopping malls and pizza parlors.”

Iraq was not alone in financing terrorism of Palestinian Arabs killing and maiming Israeli families.

Saudi Arabia

The Congressional Research Service completed a report for Congress in December 2004 about the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. It noted that the KSA provided $2.6 billion in aid to Palestinians in 2002. The Saudis had two official charities to help out the Palestinians in the Second Intifada: the Saudi Popular Committee for Assisting the Palestinian Mujahideen, and the Saudi Committee for the Support of the Al Quds Intifada. According to Saudi reports, the first organization gave Palestinians $8.8 million between October 2000 and April 2003, while the second gave roughly $140 million in various projects and another $194 million in various services between October 2000 and December 2003.

The report added:

“Since 2000, both Committees have issued public solicitations encouraging Saudi citizens to make donations to support the welfare of the Palestinian people. In one often cited instance, the Al Quds Intifada Committee organized a telethon sponsored by King Fahd in April 2002 that raised over $110 million for families of Palestinians killed or injured in the uprising.

That’s hundreds of millions going to families of murderers with the backing of Saudi Arabia and coordination of the Palestinian Authority. As the report noted:

“These individuals include suicide bombers and gunmen who were killed during actual and attempted attacks inside Israel and the Palestinian territories.
The following is a sample of five names of beneficiaries featured on the Committee
website which match those of individuals associated with attacks:

  • Said Hassan Hussein Hotari – identified as suicide bomber in June
1, 2001, attack on Dolphinarium nightclub in Tel Aviv. Hamas
    claimed responsibility.
  • Izzedin Shahil Ahmed Masri – identified as suicide bomber in
August 9, 2001 attack on Sbarro pizza restaurant in Jerusalem.
    Hamas claimed responsibility.”

The list continued, and noted that the committees stated that the terrorists were killed in “martyrdom operations,” quite a revolting terminology. Evidence of the payments were found in raids on Palestinian offices during Operation Defensive Shield which contained lists of terrorist families that received monies from KSA.

Saudi Arabia also funded Hamas, a heinous terrorist group that rules Gaza. However, by 2004, the funding dried up, as described by ‘former Treasury Department General Counsel David Aufhauser who quoted “informed intelligence sources” as saying that “for whatever reason, the money going to Hamas from Saudi Arabia has substantially dried up.” Aufhauser indicated that Saudi financial support “has been supplemented by money from Iran and Syria flowing through even more dangerous rejectionist groups in the West Bank.’

Iran

Shortly after the Obama administration sent billions of dollars to Iran as part of the JCPOA nuclear agreement, Iran announced its intention to fund Palestinian “martyrs.” As reported by JTA: “Mohammad Fateh Ali, the Iranian ambassador to Lebanon, said Wednesday his country is allocating $7,000 to families of “martyrs of the intifada in occupied Jerusalem” and will give $30,000 to each family “whose home the occupation has demolished for the participation of one of its sons.”

No surprise for a leading state sponsor of terrorism.

Palestinian Authority

The PA was established after the Oslo Accords in 1993 under Yasser Arafat (fungus be upon him). It has existed in its current state since 2007, after Mahmoud Abbas won the four-year term for presidency in 2005 and never left, and the terrorist group Hamas won 58% of parliament in 2006 and took over control of Gaza in 2007.

Over these ten years, Hamas waged three wars from Gaza (2008, 2012 and 2014) and the Palestinian Authority oversaw a “stabbing intifada” in the “West Bank” in which Palestinian Arabs used everyday items like cars and knives to kill innocent Israeli Jews. The PA needed to support such terrorism as the Palestinians preferred the armed “resistance” of Hamas over the “moderate” negotiating approach of Abbas’s Fatah.

Hamas waged wars. Fatah supported terrorism.

The support included direct financial aid to terrorist families, and naming schools and municipal buildings after the murderers. The incitement included calls for the masses to use all means possible to defend the al Aqsa Mosque (when it was never at risk) and having laws that demand a death sentence for any Arab that sells land to a Jew.

MEMRI footage from the Facebook post titled
“This Is The Call Of Brother President Abu Mazen [‘Abbas]…”

The United States labelled the popular Palestinian terrorist group Hamas a terrorist organization in 1997 along with several other Palestinian Arab groups, and does not engage with it. Meanwhile, it has propped up the failed acting-President of the PA, Mahmoud Abbas as the lesser-evil, even while he incites and supports terrorism.

The Taylor Force Act will likely soon become law and hundreds of millions of dollars of US aid to the PA may be suspended if the pay-to-slay program remains in place.

But as described above, there is wide support in the Arab world to slaughter Jews.

The Obama administration gave Iran $100 billion upfront and has enabled it to get $100 billion PER YEAR from oil and other commerce. Those monies are going to fund terrorists in Syria, Lebanon, Yemen and Palestinian territories. The Trump administration is taking actions to stop the flow of funds to terrorists.

Congressman Eliot Engel, one of the sponsors of the Taylor Force Act, was clear in his condemnation of the “martyr payments,” even as he made exceptions for monies to still flow to the PA for other purposes. The exemptions have come under attack as monies are fungible, especially when there are so many parties willing to fund the terrorists and support their families.

Hopefully the United States’ Taylor Force Act will save lives in the Middle East. It will require an entirely new level of Arab orientation to end the sick antisemitism that festers in the Middle East.
