The Most Important Congressional Races For Your Engagement

American citizens in 43 states will have no say on the presidential election in November 2024. Seven “purple” states – Arizona (11), Georgia (16), Michigan (15), Nevada (6), North Carolina (16), Pennsylvania (19) and Wisconsin (10) – with a collective total of 93 electoral votes, will ultimately decide the election. All of the other states are deeply Democratic or Republican so an individual’s vote there will not change anything, despite how vocal or passionately they feel about the candidates.

It does not mean that there is nothing for the vast majority of Americans to do.

For those who are moderate and do not want to see the country continue its divisive path towards the fringes, it is incumbent to try to help separate the party of Congress from that of the presidency. That means, that as Democratic nominee Vice President Harris continues to gain momentum and looks to secure the White House, people should try to ensure that Republicans are the majority in the House and/or Senate to avoid a Democratic administration tacking to the socialist-jihadi extreme of the party.

House of Representatives

The current split in the House of Representatives is 221 Republicans and 213 Democrats. Of these, fifteen are running for a different office (12 of which are Democrats), fourteen are retiring (8 of whom are Democrats) and three are resigning (1 Democrat).

Roll Call identified ten of the most contested races in the House of Representatives; I have added one more, NY17. In every race, the pro-Israel bipartisan lobbying group AIPAC endorsed the incumbent, of which seven are Republican. Those races are (incumbent listed first, AIPAC endorsed in bold, Republicans endorsed by AIPAC in red):

  • NY22: Brandon Williams (R) v. John Mannion (D)
  • CA13: John Duarte (R) v. Adam Gray (D)
  • NY4: Anthony D’Esposito (R) v. Laura Gillen (D)
  • WA3: Marie Gluesenkamp Perez (D) v. Joe Kent (R)
  • NC1: Don Davis (D) v. Laurie Buckhout (R)
  • OR5: Lori Chavez-DeRemer (R) v. Janelle Bynum (D)
  • NE2: Don Bacon (R) v. Tony Vargas (D)
  • AK: Mary Peltola (D) v. Nick Begich (R)
  • CA27: Mike Garcia (R) v. George Whitesides (D)
  • PA8: Matt Cartwright (D) v. Rob Bresnahan (R)
  • NY17: Mike Lawler (R) v. Mondaire Jones (D)

Senate

The Senate is currently divided with 51 Democrats and 49 Republicans. According to Bloomberg, “of the 34 Senate elections currently scheduled for 2024, Democrats and allied Independents are the defending party in 23 contests, while the Republicans are defending just 11 seats. Democrats Joe Manchin of West Virginia, Jon Tester of Montana, and Sherrod Brown of Ohio are all up for re-election in states President Joe Biden lost in 2020. Trump won all 10 states where Republicans are defending Senate seats, all but two of them by double-digit percentage-point margins. Nebraska will have two races in 2024, including a special election triggered by the resignation of Ben Sasse (R).”

According to Real Clear Polling, there are seven toss up races in the Senate in 2024. They are:

  • Arizona: [open] Ruben Gallego (D) v. Kari Lake (R)
  • Florida: Rick Scott (R) v. Debbie Mucarsel-Powell (D)
  • Maryland: [open] Larry Hogan (R) v. Angela Alsobrooks (D)
  • Michigan: [open] Elissa Slotkin (D) v. Mike Rogers (R)
  • Montana: Jon Tester (D) v. Tim Sheehy (R)
  • Ohio: Sherrod Brown (D) v. Bernie Moreno (R)
  • Pennsylvania: Bob Casey (D) v. Dave McCormick (R)

In the Senate races, AIPAC again endorsed all incumbents but one – Sherrod Brown of Ohio, a definite red flag. There are three open races without an incumbent and AIPAC remained on the sidelines in each. In the open contests, Michigan is the tightest race according to recent polls, with Rogers pointing to Slotkin’s ties to shrill antisemite and anti-Zionist Rep. Rashida Tlaib.

In summary, the top ten races people should get behind to stem the anti-Israel and antisemitic tide are: Bacon (NE2); Chavez-DeRemer (OR5); D’Esposito (NY4); Duarte (CA13); Garcia (CA27); Lawler (NY17); Williams (NY22); and in the Senate, Moreno (OH), Rogers (MI) and Scott (FL).

Runner-up to the top ten is also a somewhat tight race in NJ7 where incumbent Tom Kean (R) is running against Sue Altman (D).

To be clear, I am not suggesting that these individuals have great records overall; I am saying that a balanced Congress is the best antidote for extremist policies, and donating or volunteering for these candidates may provide a path for a more moderate administration.

One can donate to the candidates via the AIPACPAC portal. The two non-AIPAC endorsed candidates should be contacted directly at Mike Rogers and Bernie Moreno. Volunteering should also be done directly at the person’s website. Early action is highly recommended, as it takes time to build the local momentum needed to win these races.

The Muslim American Community Gameplan For 2024 Presidential Election Is Beyond 2024

The Muslim American community is a rapidly growing segment of the United States. It is projected to surpass the Jewish community by 2040 and be entrenched as the second largest religious group, estimated to become 8.1 million by 2050, according to Pew Research.

Like the Jewish community, a major consideration in the group’s focus is the Middle East. For Muslims, the region holds the major Islamic centers of Mecca and Medina in Saudi Arabia, while for Jews it is the Jewish holy land of Israel.

Beyond the sanctity of the land are co-religionists. There are 1.8 billion Muslims, with 50 Muslim-majority countries, with most being in the MENA (Middle East and North Africa) region. This compares to just 15 million Jews globally and a single Jewish country, Israel.

Muslim population for Sunni and Shia (dark green), with Israel a dot in the middle

In 2024, several Muslim countries and territories surrounding Israel are waging a war to destroy the Jewish State, and the United States has backed Israel in defending itself. This Iranian Axis-Israel war is weighing heavily on how Muslim Americans are thinking about the 2024 U.S. presidential elections.

The community has long been outraged by former President Trump’s anti-Islamic comments and angered by his strongly pro-Israel actions during his term from 2017 through 2020. Muslims were upset about his cutting funds to Palestinians, placing sanctions on Iran, and normalizing Israel into the Arab Middle East with the Abraham Accords.

But Muslim Americans are also disgusted with the Biden-Harris administration’s support for Israel fighting against Hamas, Hezbollah, Syria and Iran. They cannot fathom voting for Harris in the upcoming presidential election, even as they view her more favorably than Trump.

Resigned to the fact that both candidates are not anti-Zionist, a significant part of the community has decided to send a message, and hopefully play spoiler in the upcoming presidential election, in the hope of drawing attention to their position to influence future elections.

The Turkish news site Andalu posted a talk featuring Islamic preachers and members of CAIR, the Council of American Islamic Relations. The discussion called for Muslim Americans to vote for third party candidates like Jill Stein and Cornel West. While they have no chance of winning, the aim is to make the two dominant political parties start to cater to their demands, especially in halting support for the Jewish State.

According to polls released by CAIR, the Muslim vote in Michigan and Wisconsin – two important swing states to securing the presidency – should have an enormous turnout for Stein. Their hope is to show the Democratic party that had they changed policy course on Israel, those votes could have been theirs. The Muslim American community would rather lose the election to Trump whom they despise, to influence the future direction of the Democratic Party, which is already infiltrated by members of the “Squad.”

Middle East Eye report on Muslim Americans

Donald Trump may win a larger percentage of the Jewish vote than any Republican nominee over the past cycles which might make him keep pro-Israel positions, but Muslims have a soft back-up hope that Trump will credit the Muslim community for abandoning Harris to help him secure the presidency.

While the vast majority of Americans don’t focus on foreign affairs as the primary concern in elections beyond the border crisis, the Muslim and Jewish communities are putting the Hamas-Israel war at the top of their list, and each group may tip the scales to Donald Trump for very different reasons. Jews will focus on continuing to support Israel in its war against genocidal jihadists, while Muslims will argue that the U.S. should abandon Israel and foreign policy and funding altogether, to let the Iranian axis devour the sole Jewish State.

The Jewish community is taking a very near-term view of the American presidential election, concerned about the terrible spike in antisemitism in the U.S. and the ring of evil attacking Israel right now. The Muslim community is playing the long game, and is willing to simply place a marker on the table in 2024 that they are an emerging force to be reckoned with.

Hassan Abdel Salam who is a professor at the University of Minnesota heads a group called ‘Abandon Harris

Jews are small in number with a single state and are beset by existential fear, so are pushing for immediate action. Meanwhile, the Muslim world has no existential worries, and can focus on the ultimate prize in which their numbers and power overwhelm American Jews, just as they encircle the Jewish State. In the near-term, they will work to infiltrate the educational system and overtake the Democratic Party to breed a new generation of socialist-jihadists who will normalize anti-Zionism and antisemitism.

It’s called the Insidious Jihad in America and is over five years old now. Imagine where the country will be in five more years.

Will We Be Saved By Anti-Squad Suburbs?

Left-wing radical incumbent Rep. Cori Bush (D-MO1) lost her Democratic primary yesterday to Wesley Bell, a more moderate progressive. The margin of victory was tighter than the massive rout suffered by fellow alt-left squad member Jamaal Bowman (D-NY16) a few months ago.

Bell was able to overcome Bush’s incumbent advantage due to the turnout in the suburbs of St. Louis where he had a wide margin of victory. In the city of St. Louis, Bush had an 8.4% margin of victory where 48,886 people voted, but Bell had a 14.7% margin outside the city where 74,203 voters turned out.

The suburbs, which had 60.3% of the overall voters, voted for a more moderate progressive. This was true in New York’s 16th Congressional District as well. Bowman crushed the more moderate progressive George Latimer by 67% in New York City, while Latimer had a 27% advantage in the suburbs. As the suburbs accounted for 89.6% of the voters, Latimer sailed to a 17% margin of victory.

Both Bowman and Bush were deeply flawed candidates beyond their extreme political stances. They took their losses to further fight a war on Jews and the Jewish State, as Bush said in her concession speech “AIPAC, I’m coming to tear your kingdom down!”

The media and antisemitic voices will paint the “squad” losses as a matter of the “powerful AIPAC lobby” coming for people of color in an attempt to inflame Jew-hatred among minorities much like Bush and Bowman are doing. But the critical factor was the contours of the districts being majority suburbia which do not embrace the fanatical woke extremism which is more popular in American cities.

Kamala Harris Is Part Of The Left-Wing Fringe

Vice President Kamala Harris moved quickly to become the presumptive Democratic nominee for president after President Joe Biden announced that he would no longer run for re-election just weeks before the Democratic National Convention. Rather than let Democratic voters decide on their nominee, the Democratic establishment rallied behind Harris and shut down voter wishes for alternatives.

Immediately after the Democratic establishment rallied behind Harris, far-left Rep. Cori Bush (D-MO) endorsed Harris. In her endorsement, Bush said “When we say trust Black women, we mean it. Black women are the backbone of the Democratic Party and it is past time for us to lead our country forward.”

It’s not a surprise. While Harris served in the Senate, she was listed as one of the most partisan senators, scoring a -0.92670, ranking #93 out of 98 senators scored (majority and minority leaders are excluded), according to the Lugar Center Bipartisan Index. That scored her close to House squad member Pramila Jayapal (D-WA) who scored a -0.94183 during the same 2019 Congress.

People voted Joe Biden to the presidency in 2020 because he was a moderate. The Lugar Center scored Biden in the top 20% of bipartisan senators all-time, coming in at #47 out of #250 scored. When Biden selected Harris to join the ticket, it was widely viewed as a nod to rally the far-left wing of the party onboard which was upset that Democratic Socialist Sen. Bernie Sanders did not secure the nomination.

It caused many people concern at the time. During a 60 Minutes interview in 2020, Harris was questioned about her extremist views and record. She cackled her way through the question, reluctantly responding that she is on board with Biden’s approaches to policy.

The powerful teachers unions have gone all-in on Harris, including the National Education Association and the American Federation of Teachers. The NEA is pushing to begin indoctrinating its members in several anti-Israel items including: the ‘Nakba’ narrative; teaching that anti-Zionism is not antisemitism; endorsing the BDS (boycott, divest and sanctioning) of Israel; call to stop funding Israel’s military; and call Israel’s operation in Gaza a “genocide.” AFT considered similar resolutions as the socialist teacher unions try to indoctrinate America’s future in a socialist-jihadi narrative

As president, Harris will become “unburdened by what has been,” meaning the more moderate and pro-Israel policies of Biden, and free to push an extremist socialist agenda.

“I Think We Need To Have A Real Conversation About Woke Antisemitism”

The “Squad” of far-left American politicians pulled out all of the antisemitic dog whistles in their fight to defend the unpopular congressman Jamaal Bowman in the New York Democratic primary. In response to his resounding defeat, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio Cortez said “I think we need to have a real conversation about AIPAC,” the pro-Israel group supported by many Jews.

In truth, all the alt-left did was talk about AIPAC for the prior months and did so in the most vile and slanderous manner. As such, we must have a conversation about alt-left politicians’ repulsive antisemitism.

The smears were:

  • AIPAC is a bunch of White supremacist racist MAGA billionaires
  • AIPAC doesn’t want Black and Brown people to have positions of power
  • AIPAC supports genocide of Black and Brown people
  • The people behind AIPAC are operating in the shadows
  • AIPAC is buying off politicians and congress
  • AIPAC and backers are seeking to oppress minorities around the world
  • The Squad is operating to defend working class people from the AIPAC racist money machine
  • It’s a war of us versus them

This is repulsive and mimics Nazi propaganda against Jews in the 1930s and 1940s. These are carefully organized scripts to inflame a war against Jews in the United States and around the world.

White Supremacists and Racists

Bowman’s posts on X were replete with calling the backers of his opponent George Latimer, himself a progressive, as racists of the worst sort, who try to keep Black people down.

Comments included:

  • “White supremacists… targeting me, our first Black Representative with racist attacks & dog whistles… don’t want to see people like us in power.” [note that lower Westchester voted for Mondaire Jones, a Black gay progressive in 2020]
  • “Big-money groups like AIPAC don’t like seeing people like me in power.”
  • “AIPAC and their MAGA billionaires don’t want to see us in power. They don’t want to see Black and brown working class people rising up.”
  • “We’re fighting against AIPAC and their Republican billionaires… trying to buy NY-16… our communities are not for sale.”

Billionaires Buying Politicians

Bowman, AOC and Sen. Bernie Sanders made the fight about a handful of racist billionaires buying politicians, rather than discuss issues.

Comments included:

  • “AIPAC and their right-wing billionaires are trying to buy this district like they bought my opponent. They don’t want to see people in power.”
  • “AIPAC and their Republican billionaires are spending millions to try to buy our district… their money will never defeat the people.”
  • “My opponent sold out to AIPAC and their right-wing billionaires. They’re spending millions to try to buy our district.”
  • “He’s [Latimer] so bought out by AIPAC… pawns for special interests.”
  • “Fight back against AIPAC and right-wing billionaires.”
  • “AIPAC has already spent $6 million against us. Why? because we stand for peace and justice! MAGA Republicans are trying to buy NY-16… we decide the future of our district, not them.”
  • “Defeat MAGA billionaires trying to buy NY-16”
  • AOC wrote “Big money, from AIPAC to Wall Street have poured millions to buy this election.”
  • Bernie Sanders wrote “tell billionaires and their corporate PACs that no, they cannot buy our democracy.”
  • UAW wrote “The billionairess are coming for Jamaal Bowman because he stands up for the working class… they think they can buy off Congress.”

AIPAC Supports Genocide

Bowman and friends made clear that these wealthy racists are genocidal, coming for Black and Brown people in the U.S. and Israel.

Comments included:

  • “AIPAC’s attack campaign against us is breaking spending records every week… Our movement is scaring their pro-genocide, pro-Netanyahu, racist MAGA donors.”
  • “The Israeli government is committing a genocide and OUR taxpayer money is funding it. Why do we have billions to send to mass murder”
  • “This election is a working class educator… against a multimillionaire handpicked by MAGA to support genocide.”
  • “We won’t let AIPAC stop us from fighting for peace and justice.”
  • “Our struggles are all connected. The same evils harming our communities here are harming communities across the world.”
  • Comrade Rashida Tlaib shared “Palestinian liberation and Black liberation are interconnected. From Detroit to Cleveland to Gaza.”

AIPAC Is Coming After Black And Brown Communities

Bowman framed the primary race of two progressives, one Black who is extremist and anti-Israel, and the other White and pro-Israel, as an existential battle between peace-loving working class minorities against evil nefarious forces. It’s appalling and ridiculous as Latimer has decades of strong relationships and dozens of endorsements from Black and Brown politicians, and AIPAC is focused on Israel, not local race relations.

Comments included:

  • “AIPAC, a right-wing lobby… don’t care about us or our communities.”
  • “Big money doesn’t belong in our communities Reject AIPAC”
  • “Black and Brown communities have been left behind for too long. We don’t need more career politicians who only cater to their billionaire friends.”
  • Bowman retweeted “Thanks to funding from right-wing billionaires, AIPAC is targeting progressives of color”
  • The Working Families Party shared the article “No One Should Be Surprised a Black Politician Is the Canary in AIPAC’s Coal Mine”
  • Bowman added “The people are rising up against AIPAC and their republican billionaires. We won’t let them buy our communities in NY-16 or anywhere!”

Hiding In The Shadows

AOC made clear that these racist billionaires keeping minorities down are being funded by “dark money.”

Bowman retweeted AOC comments including:

  • “Dark money has spent the largest sum in history to unseat Jamaal Bowman… these lobbies don’t care about the Bronx and Westchester.”
  • “we rallied 1200 people in the Bronx to take on dark money”
  • “It’s time to fight back against AIPAC and their megadonors.”

The Alt-Left Against AIPAC

The far-left wing demonized a pro-Israel group as the epitome of evil: racist White supremacists who support genocide against minorities in the U.S. and Israel and who don’t care about anyone. They are agents who do not belong in the district or to have a voice in American politics.

Rep. Cori Bush said that these pro-Israel people “meddle in our Democratic elections,” meaning that they do not belong.

As such, they all ran under a banner of RejectAIPAC; to rally against a bipartisan organization that supports the only liberal democracy in the Middle East. To demonize the only Jewish state. To call anyone involved in pro-Israel activities pro-genocidal maniacs who should be cast from society. To strip the beleaguered Jewish State of all defenses.

No lobbying group is tarnished in such fashion by politicians. We don’t call Americans who are involved with the National Rifle Association or Planned Parenthood as “genocide supporters.” Elected officials do not slam teacher’s unions as “dark money” that “meddle” in the political process.

But the far-left has called open season on Jews loudly and repeatedly. It’s us versus them.

And it’s a completely manufactured lie. A vicious antisemitic campaign attempting to vilify Jews and push them from the public square.

We need to have a conversation about the vile antisemitism that is rife at woke colleges and among far-left politicians.

Jamaal Bowman Wants A War In His District

Rep. Jamaal Bowman has long ignored the Jewish residents in his district and vilified the Jewish State. As the Democratic primary neared on June 25, he opted to raise the temperature on a hot day, riling up a crowd in the South Bronx to go to war with Westchester County, and for the Black and Brown communities to go to war with the Jews.

Bowman went to a park in the Bronx and started cursing and slamming chairs on stage. Calling himself the “hip hop congressman,” he got the crowd to chant about the south Bronx. He then said “We are gonna show f*cking AIPAC the power of the mother-f*cking South Bronx.

He continued “People ax me why I’ve got a foul mouth. What am I supposed to do? You comin’ after me! You comin’ after my family. You comin’ after my children. I’m not supposed to fight back? I’m not supposed to fight back? We gonna show them who the f*ck we are!” He then started to jump up and down and throw his arms around in circles.

We gonna show them who the f*ck we are! Bowman! Bowman!

And it’s all a lying and dangerous circus. No one ever said anything about Bowman’s family and children. It was Bowman who repeatedly over many years came after Jews and the Jewish State, yet he inverted the entire cause-and-effect of the primary battle.

The unhinged rant from the deeply unpopular congressman continued his embarrassing and appalling tenure in congress. Despite being the incumbent, his challenger, Westchester County Executive George Latimer received almost all of the endorsements of the Democratic Party, including from:

  • Hillary Clinton (former Secretary of State and Senator from New York)
  • Mondaire Jones (former Congressman for lower Westchester County 2021-2)
  • Nita Lowy (former Congresswoman for lower Westchester County)
  • Eliot Engel (former Congressman for the Bronx)
  • David Paterson (former Governor of New Jersey)
  • and a very long list of state and county legislators

The sick rantings of Bowman are even starting to bring current members of Congress to endorse George Latimer, including Josh Gottheimer (D-NJ). More may follow as we enter election day on June 25.

But Bowman wasn’t alone in his antics.

Alexandria “Big Money” Ocasio-Cortez joined Bowman’s rants with her own fist pumping as she yelled “I am ready to fight!”

She asked the crowd “Are we ready to take on AIPAC? Are we ready to kick some Wall Street ass?! Good!

Not satisfied with slamming a bipartisan group which backs many Black and Latin progressives, AOC went on to continue to lie about Latimer. “He [Bowman] is being primaried by racism. He is being primaried by greed. He is being primaried by corruption of our politics. And we cannot let them win.”

The statement is beyond preposterous. Latimer is a long-time civil servant who works closely with people of all races and religions. Many Black and gay leaders in Westchester have decades of experience working with him and have endorsed him.

AOC added “The Bronx is built different. We are built different…. There’s a reason this borough [the Bronx] sent Jamaal Bowman to congress.”

But it didn’t. With redistricting, NY’s 16th district consists of 87% lower Westchester County and 13% of the Bronx. Bowman won in 2020 with very different lines that had much more of the Bronx.

AOC’s and Bowman’s claims that Latimer is being funded by outside money is another inversion of facts. The vast majority of Latimer money is coming from inside district 16 while only 10% of Bowman’s contributions are local.

The alt-left is angry that it cannot do a quick massive redistribution of wealth and power from the Westchester towns which are predominantly White with a significant Jewish population, to the predominantly Black and Brown neighborhoods in the Bronx. So they are inciting riots.

Jamaal Bowman and AOC have declared a war between the South Bronx and Westchester, as well as between the Black/Brown Majority-Minorities and the beleaguered Jewish Minority-Minority. How is this progressive? Why are these alt-left extremists in office?

Vote them out of office on the June 25 primary.

Jamaal Bowman Is Not Progressive, He’s Divisive

Mondaire Jones, a former congressman who served lower Westchester, came out against the incumbent Jamaal Bowman, saying the time had come to “rebuke the extremists that some would have take over the Democratic Party.”

Jones is a black, gay progressive, and made clear that Bowman represents a fringe element advanced by revolutionary groups that seek to tear the country apart, and not part of a liberal tradition.

Jones’s point rings true for Westchester County, where Biden beat Trump in 2020 by 67.6% to 31.3%. The county is liberal but not ‘burn it down’ woke radical like Bowman.

Would a progressive mock women who were raped to a chanting crowd, the way Bowman did on the streets of White Plains?

Would a progressive taunt a small minority-minority, a fraction of the size of the country’s Black and Hispanic population, the way Bowman does?

Would a progressive be hostile and ignore of a minority group which suffers more hate crimes than any other group in the United States, as Bowman does repeatedly?

The National Black Empowerment Action Fund is embarrassed by the divisive actions of Jamaal Bowman. The group just donated half a million dollars to his opponent, a 70-year old white man, Westchester County Executive George Latimer. The founder of the group said “we could have stayed out of it, but the need was too great, the sense of urgency was too high. We’re trying to champion an effort to help amplify the voices of black voters who are focused on safe communities, good-paying jobs, driving down the cost of living, having school choice for their kids, healthcare and just realizing better life outcomes, and it’s going to take responsible leadership that’s keenly focused on those priorities as opposed to far-flung ideologies and agendas.”

Bowman’s agenda and ideology has more than a tinge of Jew hatred.

White Plains Councilman Justin Brasch said about Bowman “I have felt antisemitism from him. I felt such a strong degree of antagonism towards the Jewish community and its leadership that, yes, it feels antisemitic and insensitive.”

Bowman has called Republicans “Nazis,” as has his staff in attempting to divert attention away from Bowman’s pulling a fire alarm. It is an insult not only to the targeted individuals but Jews who consider the casual usage of the term a form of Holocaust denial.

Jamaal Bowman defended the antisemitic comments of Rep. Rashida Tlaib by calling Republicans racists, cold and stupid, November 7, 2023

Bowman embraces his position as an extremist. In May 2023 he scolded President Biden saying “I’m concerned because the president has, every now and then, moved to the right, if you will, to acquiesce to a so-called independent voter.” His hyper-partisan voting record places well outside of the mainstream, which is why the far-left group Justice Democrats made Bowman the top recipient of their funding in the 2022 and 2024 election cycles.

People are signing petitions to groups like Planned Parenthood to pull their endorsement of the rape denier Bowman. They are turning out to canvas and donate to the Latimer campaign to toss Bowman from office.

Jamaal Bowman is not progressive; he is a censured, highly-divisive congressman who is an embarrassment to his constituents and the entire country.

Bowman has also called to “Defund the Police” and mocked the rape of Jewish women in Israel on the streets of White Plains. Had anyone in a non-elected governmental position conducted themselves in such a dangerous manner, they would have been fired from their job.

Some organizations and people – like J Street and Mondaire Jones – have pulled their endorsements of the disgraced congressman. Others are petitioning Planned Parenthood to pull their endorsement of the rape denier. We should demand that everyone – including House Democratic leader Hakeem Jeffries – pull their endorsement, even though Bowman is an incumbent.

It will be up to the voters of New York’s 16th Congressional District to get out the vote for George Latimer on June 25. A request for a mail in ballot must be received by June 15.

“The Squad” Starts To Eat Its Own

Former Member of Congress, Mondaire Jones, came out against incumbent Rep. Jamaal Bowman in New York’s 16th District. Jones used to represent much of the district of lower Westchester in 2020, before redistricting changed the contours of NY’s congressional district and Jones opted to run in lower Manhattan, where he lost in the primary in 2022.

Many people have come out against Jamaal Bowman, a fiery far-left extremist who claims to be causing “good trouble” when he calls for “defunding the police”, “abolishing ICE” (U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement), demanding $14 trillion of “reparations” for Black Americans, and ending U.S. support for the only Jewish State. What makes the Jones’ criticism of Bowman special is that it is coming from a Black progressive member of congress who used to represent many of Bowman’s constituents.

According to Jewish Insider, “Jones said he’s had conversations ‘all the time’ with Jewish residents in the district who are ‘horrified by his [Bowman’s] words and actions — it gives them anxiety. And it has contributed to the fearfulness that American Jews are feeling in this very heightened climate of increased hostility towards the Jewish community and Israel.’ [Jones added] ‘I will always stand up for my Jewish constituents. It’s just critically important we rebuke the extremists that some would have take over the Democratic Party.'”

Members of the extremist far-left “Squad” were appalled by Jones’ actions and comments that he is endorsing Westchester County Executive George Latimer, a White, 70-year old man for the position.

According to Semafor, Rep. Summer Lee, (D-PA) called the endorsement “incredibly disappointing.” Rep. Cori Bush (D-MO) said “It’s disgusting. Here we have a former CPC [Congressional Progressive Caucus] and CBC [Congressional Black Caucus] member who’s endorsing against both a Progressive and Black man who was the first Black man in his seat.”

Lee and Bush are essentially parrots of Bowman in Congress, voting in the same manner nearly every time, as do AOC (D-NY) and Ayanna Pressley (D-MA).

The extreme left “Squad” essentially vote as a unified block, with 98-99% overlap. Chart above compares Bowman’s voting record against other progressives and New York Republicans for comparison. Data for 2023-4 118th Congress according to ProPublica.com

Almost all of the Westchester Democratic establishment has endorsed Latimer over the incumbent Bowman due to the latter’s vitriol and embarrassing actions. Now fellow Black progressives are turning on the censured Bowman in the homestretch towards the Democratic primary scheduled for June 25.

As Mondaire Jones said about Bowman, it is “critically important we rebuke the extremists that some would have take over the Democratic Party.” Bowman will hopefully be the first but not last to fall.

Demand Planned Parenthood Rescind Endorsement of Rape Denier Jamaal Bowman

Planned Parenthood is an organization that focuses on women’s access to medical treatments for matters related to reproduction such as birth control, sexually transmitted diseases and abortion. It also focuses on issues related to female bodily autonomy, so discusses and advocates about rape and sexual assault.

It is therefore horrifying that the organization has given an endorsement to Rep. Jamaal Bowman (D-NY16) when he loudly, publicly, and deliberately mocked the rape of Israeli women as a matter of “propaganda” and “lies.”

Planned Parenthood 2024 endorsements in New York

Bowman’s challenger in the June 25 Democratic primary, Westchester County Executive George Latimer, has a long history of protecting women’s rights, including fighting rape. Why would Planned Parenthood ignore Latimer and actively endorse Bowman, who chants that Jewish women cannot be believed when they are raped?

Demand Planned Parenthood pull their endorsement of Jamaal Bowman and condemn his comments about the brutal rape of Israeli women.
