UNESCO Protects the Hamas Charter as Endangered Cultural Artifact

A satire.

In a bold step to preserve humanity’s “most fragile treasures,” UNESCO voted to add the Hamas Charter to its list of endangered cultural artifacts. The decision came during the organization’s annual heritage summit, which initially convened to safeguard vanishing African oral traditions, disappearing tribal instruments, and lost languages. But the spotlight quickly shifted after the State of Palestine—recognized as a full UNESCO member—submitted the 1988 Hamas Charter as a candidate for protection.

Delegates debated the proposal with solemn reverence, as though they were discussing ancient scrolls or fragile clay tablets. “This is not merely a document,” intoned one UNESCO official, “it is a vibrant example of humanity’s enduring talent for mixing medieval theology, paranoid conspiracy, and genocidal intent into a single cultural artifact.”

Hamas founder, Sheik Ahmed Yassin, standing before children

Hamas, which currently holds 58% of the Palestinian parliament and continues to govern Gaza with an iron fist wrapped in a prayer shawl, celebrated the recognition. “We thank UNESCO for finally appreciating the poetic quality of our prose,” said one Hamas spokesperson, pointing to passages citing Jews as orchestrators of every global evil, from wars to stock market crashes. “It is art. Dark, sinister art, but art nonetheless.”

The Islamic Republic of Iran, a member of UNESCO with a keen eye for heritage preservation, reportedly helped prepare the submission. Delegates noted the Persian calligraphy used in the cover page of the proposal as “an exquisite touch of cultural diplomacy.”

Critics, however, were less charitable. Human rights groups asked why UNESCO would protect a text calling for the eradication of an entire people while ignoring actual endangered communities being eradicated in real time. UNESCO officials brushed off such concerns. “Our mission is not to judge,” said one diplomat. “If we can safeguard Stonehenge, we can safeguard Stone Age thinking.”

The vote passed overwhelmingly, though with several European countries abstaining in embarrassment. The document will now be digitally preserved and inscribed on UNESCO’s Memory of the World Register, alongside such treasures as the Magna Carta, Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony, and the forgery Protocols of the Elders of Zion.

As the session closed, one delegate mused: “Perhaps one day humanity will look back on this charter the way it looks at medieval torture devices—an artifact of cruelty, once revered, now displayed in a museum of shame.”

For now, however, UNESCO has declared the Hamas Charter an endangered cultural jewel which must be preserved. Its continued existence may be a threat to peace, but, as the organization reminded the world, “heritage must be protected, even when it is heritage of hate.”

Hamas Is The Very Definition Of A Genocidal Group

Genocide is defined in the dictionary as “the deliberate killing of a large number of people from a particular nation or ethnic group with the aim of destroying that nation or group.” Nazi Germany had that aim in the 1930s and 1940s and succeeded in killing one-third of the Jewish population. Jews have still not replaced the loss 75 years later.

Today, the group that best captures the heinous intent of deliberately killing Jews is the popular political-terrorist group Hamas.

Hamas’s 1988 foundational charter is a fountain of anti-Semitic conspiracy theories and calls to kill Jews and destroy the Jewish State. Some lowlights include:

  • Israel will exist and will continue to exist until Islam will obliterate it.” (Opening)
  • Our struggle against the Jews is very great and very serious.” (Preamble)
  • raise the banner of Jihad in the face of the oppressors, so that they would rid the land and the people of their uncleanliness, vileness and evils.” (Article 3)
  • raise the banner of Allah over every inch of Palestine” (Article 6)
  • Moslems fight the Jews (killing the Jews)… there is a Jew behind me, come and kill him” (Article 7)
  • Nothing in nationalism is more significant or deeper than in the case when an enemy should tread Moslem land” (Article 12)
  • There is no solution for the Palestinian question except through Jihad. Initiatives, proposals and international conferences are all a waste of time” (Article 13)
  • In face of the Jews’ usurpation of Palestine, it is compulsory that the banner of Jihad be raised…. the Palestinian problem is a religious problem, and should be dealt with on this basis.” (Article 15)
  • Zionist “organizations, hostile to humanity and Islam, will be obliterated.” (Article 17)

The toxicity rambles on from there.

Palestinian Arabs voted Hamas to 58% of parliament with this charter, in its first democratic election for parliament in 2006. It has thus far been the only parliamentary election.

Hamas took control of Gaza in 2007, and Egypt and Israel subsequently put a blockade around the terrorist enclave lest it gain deadly weapons to pursue its genocidal goals. Despite the blockade, the group managed to launch numerous attacks and wars against Israel with low-level weaponry.

Palestinian Arabs continue to support this genocidal group, with a majority supporting their leader to be the next president according to Palestinian polls. That should not be surprising as most Gazans support terrorism, specifically killing Jewish civilians inside of Israel.

June 2023 PCPSR poll Question 70 “Concerning armed attacks against Israeli civilians inside Israel, I….”, with 70% of Gazans supporting terrorism

The United Nations has a definition for genocide which states:

In the present Convention, genocide means any of the following acts committed with intent to destroy, in whole or in part, a national, ethnical, racial or religious group, as such:

  1. Killing members of the group;
  2. Causing serious bodily or mental harm to members of the group;
  3. Deliberately inflicting on the group conditions of life calculated to bring about its physical destruction in whole or in part;
  4. Imposing measures intended to prevent births within the group;
  5. Forcibly transferring children of the group to another group.”

Elements of the crime

The 1988 Hamas Charter showed clear intent to cause a genocide of Jews, and the group’s broad-based support amongst Palestinian Arabs demonstrate a “deformity” in Palestinian culture, as leading Arab American James Zogby said at the United Nations in June 2023.

The actions of October 7, 2023, certify the intent with barbarism.

Not only did Hamas kill over 1,400 people in an unprovoked attack, it butchered people causing severe mental harm and long-term trauma to the entire Jewish State. It made the idea of living anywhere near Gaza virtually impossible. In taking over 240 hostages into Gaza – including young children who may never see their families again – the evil intent is beyond manifest.

Israel is engaged in a just war against this genocidal group. While limiting civilian casualties, it MUST defeat Hamas and ensure it cannot attack Israel again. An aggressive self defense must be broadly supported.

Defense against genocidal maniacs must extend to Jews in the diaspora as well. Countries with large Jewish populations including the United States, France, Canada, United Kingdom and Argentina have over 7 million Jews amongst them. Those countries have seen a large spike in antisemitic incidents on college campuses, in the streets and in governments. Security must be enhanced as Hamas’s Willing Executioners invert perpetrator and victim and spew antisemitic inanity to incite the mob.

The most terrifying evidence of the global depravity was watching America’s Ivy League professors cheering the October 7 pogrom calling it “exhilarating” and “awesome” because they believed that the genocide of Jews had finally moved passed a Palestinian promise to an actual reality.

First in the Middle East, and then the diaspora.

The world witnessed an antisemitic genocidal group butchering Jews in Israel, and now watches Hamas supporters come for global Jewry as part of the “global intifada”, bizarrely protected under the banner of free speech.

How will diaspora Jewry’s self-defense manifest?

Jihadi Coexistence

The defenders of Hamas are out. In spite of the horrible massacre of innocent civilians, extremists are blind with hatred and doubling down rather than abandon their comrades. Intersectionality dogma obliges adherents to coalesce when times are dark, and the stickiness of evil can feel empowering.

Many of the backers of the Palestinian terrorists are not Islamic extremists but “progressives” who have convinced themselves that Jews have no history or rights in the holy land and are “colonial settlers” who must be fought. They blame the victim – Israel – for their own deaths. They manufacture new realities on the fly, combining jihadi antisemitic propaganda with twisted progressive values.

Consider the goal of coexistence.

If Hamas truly hated Jews, it would kill every Jew it encountered and not bring so many children, women, men and elderly back to Gaza. Jewish hostages in Gaza are proof that Jihadists favor coexistence, at least a particular kind.

Hamas’ foundational charter Article six specifically mentions the goal of coexistence:

“The Islamic Resistance Movement is a distinguished Palestinian movement, whose allegiance is to Allah, and whose way of life is Islam. It strives to raise the banner of Allah over every inch of Palestine, for under the wing of Islam followers of all religions can coexist in security and safety where their lives, possessions and rights are concerned. In the absence of Islam, strife will be rife, oppression spreads, evil prevails and schisms and wars will break out.”

The goal of Hamas and its supporters is not a two state solution but one state ruled under shariah law where non-Muslims can live as second class citizens as dhimmis, paying a special jizya tax for having the privilege to live “under the wing of Islam.” It’s called Jihadi Coexistence, and is actively being marketed – and showcased – by radical socialists and Islamists.

Why Blockade Gaza

The United Nations, liberal media and politicians are bemoaning the Israeli and Egyptian blockade of Gaza, arguing that it is a form of “collective punishment” and is creating an economic disaster in the small coastal enclave. Those articles and arguments all fail to describe why the blockade exists and why it is essential for it to continue.

The landside blockade of Gaza began in June 2007, shortly after the political-terrorist group Hamas ousted its rival Fatah from the area. A naval blockade went into effect in January 2009 to further clamp down on the region, after the December 2008-January 2009 war against Israel launched by Hamas.

Ruled by a Terrorist Organization

Hamas is an extremist Islamist terrorist organization sworn to Israel’s destruction and the murder of Jews. It is a designated foreign terrorist organization by the United States and many western countries. Its 1988 founding charter is the most anti-Semitic political document of the modern age, a combination of Adolf Hitler’s Mein Kampf and the Russian forgery, Protocols of the Elders of Zion.

Palestinian Arabs elected Hamas to a majority of the Palestinian parliament in 2006. The organization calls for the destruction of Israel in any form and calls for a global jihad against the Jewish State.

Repeated Wars from Gaza

Hamas has launched wars from Gaza against Israel in 2008, 2012, 2014 and May 2021. When not sending missiles all over the Jewish State, it launches arson balloons to burn Israeli fields, digs tunnels into Israel to abduct Israelis, and attempts to destroy the separation fence and infiltrate Israel.

Gazans Want To Kill Israeli Civilians

The Anti-Defamation League did global polls in 2014 and 2015 and found the Palestinian Arabs were by far the most anti-Semitic in the world, with 93% of the population harboring anti-Jewish attitudes. However, while almost every Palestinian Arab is anti-Semitic, the Gazans and West Bankers have different views about physically attacking Israeli civilians.

The gap in attitude between Gazans and West Bankers about violently attacking Israeli civilians inside of Israel has continued to grow
(source: Palestinian PCPSR polls)

Palestinians poll themselves every quarter about their attitudes on a variety of topics. One of the questions asked each poll is “Concerning armed attacks against Israeli civilians inside Israel, I…” with choices ranging from “strong support”, “support” to “oppose”, “strongly oppose” and “I don’t know.” The fact that the poll asks such question says a lot about Palestinian society generally, but an analysis of the trend in the chart above is important.

Between 2001 and 2008, the attitudes among Gazans and West Bank Arabs were much the same, with Gazans preferring killing Israeli civilians inside of Israel by an average of 11.6% more than West Bankers. After the 2008-9 Gaza war and the implementation of the naval blockade, the gap in attitudes widened. Between 2009 and 2017, Gazans preferred attacking Israeli Jews inside of Israel by a gap of 22.1%, almost double the 2001-8 period. Between 2018 and today, the gap has become even more pronounced, with Gazans voting for violence by a difference of 43.9%, nearly doubling again. Further, after the 2014 and May 2021 wars, Hamas’s popularity soared as did the uptick in Gazans desire to see more Jewish blood.

The difference in attitude is stark and the sentiment is frightening. And it is not theoretical.

In March 2011, after a the horrendous slaughter of a family of five by Palestinian Arabs in the West Bank, Gazans celebrated the murder (51.0%) while West Bank Arabs did not (75.6%).

Palestinian poll taken shortly after slaughter of Fogel family in Itamar, including an
11 year old, 4 year old and 3 month old, all stabbed to death.

This attitude was not an outlier. In August 2019, Palestinian Arabs blew up a 17 year-old girl, Rina Shnerb, while she was on a family hike. Over 80% of Gazans supported the attack.

Palestinian poll taken shortly after bomb blew up and killed Rina Shnerb.

It is hard to imagine that there are any places in the world where there would be any support for stabbing to death a 3 month old lying in its crib, or for blowing up a 17 year old girl going on a nature hike. But in Gaza, the MAJORITY support the slaughter of innocent Jews.

For people who want to counter and prevent violent extremism, and who care about peace, justice and the sanctity of human life, it is well past time to pull all support from the terrorist enclave of Gaza, including shutting UNRWA in the area. Human rights and decency demand it.

Excerpt of Hamas Charter to Share with Your Elected Officials

There was a time when all elected officials recognized a designated terrorist organization and did not call it a force for “resistance.”

There was a time when the media would call all designated terrorist groups as “terrorist groups” and not selectively call Palestinian ones “Islamic” and “militant” groups.

But anti-Semites and anti-Zionists have penetrated the halls of Congress and the field of journalism, so its time to lay out the goals of HAMAS as written by HAMAS for everyone to understand:

The following are actual quotes from Hamas’s foundational charter in 1988. Palestinians voted Hamas to 58% of parliament with this charter:

  • Israel will exist and will continue to exist until Islam will obliterate it.” (Opening)
  • “Our struggle against the Jews is very great and very serious.” (Preamble)
  • In their Nazi treatment, the Jews made no exception for women or children… [Jews] attack people where their breadwinning is concerned, extorting their money” (Article 20)
  • With their money, they took control of the world media, news agencies, the press, publishing houses, broadcasting stations, and others. With their money they stirred revolutions in various parts of the world with the purpose of achieving their interests and reaping the fruit therein…. They obtained the Balfour Declaration, formed the League of Nations through which they could rule the world. They were behind World War II, through which they made huge financial gains by trading in armaments, and paved the way for the establishment of their state. It was they who instigated the replacement of the League of Nations with the United Nations and the Security Council to enable them to rule the world through them. There is no war going on anywhere, without having their finger in it.” (Article 22)
  • The Zionist invasion is a vicious invasion… using all evil and contemptible ways… infiltration and espionage operations on the secret organizations… aim at undermining societies, destroying values, corrupting consciences, deteriorating character and annihilating Islam. It is behind the drug trade and alcoholism in all its kinds so as to facilitate its control and expansion…. Israel, Judaism and Jews challenge Islam and the Moslem people.” (Article 28)
  • the ferocity of the Zionist offensive and the Zionist influence in many countries exercised through financial and media control.” (Article 30)
  • Peace and quiet would not be possible except under the wing of Islam… It is the duty of the followers of other religions to stop disputing the sovereignty of Islam in this region… The Zionist Nazi activities against our people will not last for long.” (Article 31)
  • The Zionist plan is limitless. After Palestine, the Zionists aspire to expand from the Nile to the Euphrates. When they will have digested the region they overtook, they will aspire to further expansion, and so on. Their plan is embodied in the “Protocols of the Elders of Zion”, and their present conduct is the best proof of what we are saying.… here is no way out except by concentrating all powers and energies to face this Nazi, vicious Tatar invasion. The alternative is loss of one’s country, the dispersion of citizens, the spread of vice on earth and the destruction of religious values… fight with the warmongering Jews.” (Article 32)
  • everywhere in the Islamic world will come forward in response to the call of duty while loudly proclaiming: Hail to Jihad. Their cry will reach the heavens and will go on being resounded until liberation is achieved, the invaders vanquished” (Article 33)
  • Moslems were able to retrieve the land only when they stood under the wing of their religious banner… This is the only way to liberate Palestine… Nothing can overcome iron except iron.… confront the Zionist invasion and defeat it… rid themselves of the effects of ideological invasion.” (Article 34)

Hamas is anti-Semitic. Hamas is evil. Hamas is genocidal. Hamas’s existence – and support of it – is a crime against humanity.

Peter Beinart is an Apologist for Anti-Semites

Peter Beinart writes for the New York Times, is a contributor to CNN and serves as the Jewish mouthpiece to mask anti-Semitism as something less than anti-Semitism to the world.

In attempting to defend Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) of the accusation that she promotes the destruction of Israel when she says “From the River to the Sea, Palestine will be free,” Beinart offered the following:

“I get why many Jews find slogan “Palestine from River to Sea” frightening. Some have used it to disregard Jewish rights (1st Hamas charter, for instance). But @RashidaTlaib has been clear that Jews + Palestinians deserve equality. Suggesting otherwise is a smear

Peter Beinart defends Hamas and Rashida Tlaib

The founding Hamas Charter in 1988 did not simply “disregard Jewish rights” as Beinart claims. It is a screed against Jews as evil creatures who have taken over Muslim land.

  • Opening: The text makes clear the problem is Jews: “they who have received the scriptures [Jews]… the greater part of them are transgressorssmitten with vileness wheresoever they are found.” The solution to the problem of Palestine is found in a religious war: “Israel will exist and will continue to exist until Islam will obliterate it.
  • Preamble: The preamble lays out the enemy and charge: “Our struggle against the Jews is very great and very serious. [Hamas] is but one squadron that should be supported by more and more squadrons from this vast Arab and Islamic world, until the enemy is vanquished and Allah’s victory is realised.”
  • Articles 1 & 2: Makes clear that the fight is a religious one: “The Movement’s programme is Islamone of the wings of Moslem Brotherhood.”
  • Articles 3 & 4: Is a call to “raise the banner of Jihad in the face of the oppressors, so that they would rid the land and the people of their uncleanliness, vileness and evils.” A call to expel all non-Muslims.
  • Articles 5 & 6: Hamas seeks to “raise the banner of Allah over every inch of Palestinein the absence of Islam, strife will be rife, oppression spreads, evil prevails and schisms and wars will break out.”
  • Articles 7 & 8: States that the “struggle against the Zionist invadersgoes back to 1939,” well before the Six Day War in 1967, and should be fought by killing Jews: “Moslems fight the Jews (killing the Jews).”
  • Articles 9 & 10: Declared that evil arises wherever Islam is not in charge
  • Articles 11 & 12: Declare that “the land of Palestine is an Islamic Waqf consecrated for future Moslem generations,” and “Nothing in nationalism is more significant or deeper than in the case when an enemy should tread Moslem land” making non-Jews a national and religious offense and threat
  • Articles 13 & 14: Call for a religious war as there “is no solution for the Palestinian question except through Jihad,” because diplomacy and “conferences are only ways of setting the infidels in the land of the Moslems.”
  • Articles 15 & 16: Declare that this is a religious war: “In face of the Jews’ usurpation of Palestine, it is compulsory that the banner of Jihad be raised…. the Palestinian problem is a religious problem, and should be dealt with on this basis.”
  • Articles 17 & 18: Call for every Muslim man, woman and child to fight to “liberate” the land from Zionists who are “hostile to humanity and Islam
  • Articles 19 & 20: Actually calls Jews by the names of the people who had slaughtered them: Jews are a “vicious enemy which acts in a way similar to NazismIn their Nazi treatment, the Jews made no exception for women or children… [Jews] attack people where their breadwinning is concerned, extorting their money,” repeating an antisemitic canard.
  • Articles 21 & 22: Tout conspiracy theories which combine Hitler’s Mein Kampf and the forgery ‘Protocols of the Elders of Zion’- “With their money, they took control of the world media, news agencies, the press, publishing houses, broadcasting stations, and others. There is no war going on anywhere, without having their finger in it.
  • Articles 23 & 24: call for Muslim unity to fight their enemies.
  • Articles 25, 26 & 27: Call for Arab and Muslim unity in the “the liberation of Palestineour fate is one and the enemy is a joint enemy to all of us... Islamic Resistance Movement is a fighting movement.”
  • Article 28: Continues to label Zionists as contemptible: “The Zionist invasion is a vicious invasionusing all evil and contemptible waysinfiltration and espionage operations on the secret organizationsaim at undermining societies, destroying values, corrupting consciences, deteriorating character and annihilating Islam. It is behind the drug trade and alcoholism in all its kinds so as to facilitate its control and expansion…. Israel, Judaism and Jews challenge Islam and the Moslem people.
  • Articles 29 & 30: Call for the Islamic world to fight “the ferocity of the Zionist offensive and the Zionist influence in many countries exercised through financial and media control.”
  • Article 31: Calls for the supremacy of Islam, “Peace and quiet would not be possible except under the wing of IslamIt is the duty of the followers of other religions to stop disputing the sovereignty of Islam in this regionThe Zionist Nazi activities against our people will not last for long.
  • Article 32: Continues to build on the conspiracy theories found in Articles 21 & 22: “The Zionist plan is limitless. After Palestine, the Zionists aspire to expand from the Nile to the Euphrates. When they will have digested the region they overtook, they will aspire to further expansion, and so on. Their plan is embodied in the “Protocols of the Elders of Zion”, and their present conduct is the best proof of what we are saying.here is no way out except by concentrating all powers and energies to face this Nazi, vicious Tatar invasion. The alternative is loss of one’s country, the dispersion of citizens, the spread of vice on earth and the destruction of religious valuesfight with the warmongering Jews.”
  • Article 33: A call to global jihad against the Jews, “everywhere in the Islamic world will come forward in response to the call of duty while loudly proclaiming: Hail to Jihad. Their cry will reach the heavens and will go on being resounded until liberation is achieved, the invaders vanquished.”
  • Articles 34 & 35: Are calls for a religious war, “Moslems were able to retrieve the land only when they stood under the wing of their religious bannerThis is the only way to liberate PalestineNothing can overcome iron except iron.confront the Zionist invasion and defeat itrid themselves of the effects of ideological invasion.”
  • Article 36: Hamas are the “soldiers… against the Zionist enemy and its lackeys.”

That is the Hamas Charter which Beinart said simply “disregards Jewish rights.”

The United Nations disregards Jewish rights when it opposes Jews – and only Jews – praying in their holiest location. It disregards Jewish rights when it declares that Jews – and only Jews – cannot live in parts of their holy land.

Hamas doesn’t “disregard Jewish rights” as Beinart states; it denies the basic humanity and dignity of Jews and Judaism with vast conspiracy theories and calls to kill Jews and destroy Israel. To voluntarily and publicly defend the Hamas Charter in such way is outrageous and appalling. Beinart is as likely to defend the Nazi regime with such heinous sentiments, and underscores why he is so comfortable defending Tlaib.

Hamas Charter, Article Thirty Six

Hamas ended its foundational charter by clearly identifying its enemy.

The Islamic Resistance Movement is Composed of Soldiers:

Article Thirty-Six:

While paving its way, the Islamic Resistance Movement, emphasizes time and again to all the sons of our people, to the Arab and Islamic nations, that it does not seek personal fame, material gain, or social prominence. It does not aim to compete against any one from among our people, or take his place. Nothing of the sort at all. It will not act against any of the sons of Moslems or those who are peaceful towards it from among non-Moslems, be they here or anywhere else. It will only serve as a support for all groupings and organizations operating against the Zionist enemy and its lackeys.

The Islamic Resistance Movement adopts Islam as its way of life. Islam is its creed and religion. Whoever takes Islam as his way of life, be it an organization, a grouping, a country or any other body, the Islamic Resistance Movement considers itself as their soldiers and nothing more.

We ask Allah to show us the right course, to make us an example to others and to judge between us and our people with truth. “O Lord, do thou judge between us and our nation with truth; for thou art the best judge.” (Al Araf – Verse 89).

The last of our prayers will be praise to Allah, the Master of the Universe.

Hamas’s raison d’etre, its reason for being, is to fight the Jewish State. It states that it is operating as “soldiers… against the Zionist enemy and its lackeys.” It has no greater call to lead or create a peaceful society, and is happy to be the foot soldiers of other “groupings and organizations” similarly operating against Jews living in Israel and those whom support such endeavor. In particular, the fuel to light this jihad against the Jews stems from religion: “Islam as its way of life.

And the Palestinian Arabs elected Hamas to 58% of the parliament with this charter while the media talks of “Islamic resistance” as a peaceful and natural endeavor.

Hamas Charter, Articles 34 and 35

Articles 34 and 35 of the Hamas Charter further the notion that the land of Israel is inherently Muslim land which has been targeted for expansion throughout history by Christians, Tartars and most recently, Jews.

The Testimony of History

Across History in Confronting the Invaders:

Article Thirty-Four:

Palestine is the navel of the globe and the crossroad of the continents. Since the dawn of history, it has been the target of expansionists. The Prophet, Allah bless him and grant him salvation, had himself pointed to this fact in the noble Hadith in which he called on his honourable companion, Ma’adh ben-Jabal, saying: O Ma’ath, Allah throw open before you, when I am gone, Syria, from Al-Arish to the Euphrates. Its men, women and slaves will stay firmly there till the Day of Judgement. Whoever of you should choose one of the Syrian shores, or the Holy Land, he will be in constant struggle till the Day of Judgement.”

Expansionists have more than once put their eye on Palestine which they attacked with their armies to fulfill their designs on it. Thus it was that the Crusaders came with their armies, bringing with them their creed and carrying their Cross. They were able to defeat the Moslems for a while, but the Moslems were able to retrieve the land only when they stood under the wing of their religious banner, united their word, hallowed the name of Allah and surged out fighting under the leadership of Salah ed-Din al-Ayyubi. They fought for almost twenty years and at the end the Crusaders were defeated and Palestine was liberated.

“Say unto those who believe not, Ye shall be overcome, and thrown together into hell; an unhappy couch it shall be.” (The Family of Imran – verse 12).

This is the only way to liberate Palestine. There is no doubt about the testimony of history. It is one of the laws of the universe and one of the rules of existence. Nothing can overcome iron except iron. Their false futile creed can only be defeated by the righteous Islamic creed. A creed could not be fought except by a creed, and in the last analysis, victory is for the just, for justice is certainly victorious.

“Our word hath formerly been given unto our servants the apostles; that they should certainly be assisted against the infidels, and that our armies should surely be the conquerors.” (Those Who Rank Themselves – verses 171-172).

Article Thirty-Five:

The Islamic Resistance Movement views seriously the defeat of the Crusaders at the hands of Salah ed-Din al-Ayyubi and the rescuing of Palestine from their hands, as well as the defeat of the Tatars at Ein Galot, breaking their power at the hands of Qataz and Al-Dhaher Bivers and saving the Arab world from the Tatar onslaught which aimed at the destruction of every meaning of human civilization. The Movement draws lessons and examples from all this. The present Zionist onslaught has also been preceded by Crusading raids from the West and other Tatar raids from the East. Just as the Moslems faced those raids and planned fighting and defeating them, they should be able to confront the Zionist invasion and defeat it. This is indeed no problem for the Almighty Allah, provided that the intentions are pure, the determination is true and that Moslems have benefited from past experiences, rid themselves of the effects of ideological invasion and followed the customs of their ancestors.

Backers of Hamas believe that Jews and Christians are newcomers to the holy land, as if history in the region only began with the Muslim invasions of the 7th and 8th century. Christians and Tartars are “expansionists” without history or ties to the land, while the “Zionists” are simply the most recent incarnation of invaders seeking to control Muslim land.

Hamas is very clear how to turn back “the present Zionist onslaught:” A religious war. “Nothing can overcome iron except iron… under the wing of their religious banner.

Former Democratic U.S. President Jimmy Carter met with Hamas in 2008 while Republican George W. Bush was president. The ex-president meddled in international affairs meeting with a U.S. designated Foreign Terrorist Organization which had a stated goal of destroying Israel. While United Nations Secretary General, Ban Ki Moon urged and welcomed a reconciliation between Hamas and Fatah, a move which ended the peace talks between Israel and the Palestinians leading to the 2014 Gaza War.

And the Palestinian Arabs elected Hamas to 58% of the parliament with this charter while the media talks of “Islamic resistance” as a peaceful and natural endeavor.

Hamas Charter, Article 33

Article 33 of the Hamas Charter is a call for global jihad against the Jewish State.

Article Thirty-Three:

The Islamic Resistance Movement, being based on the common coordinated and interdependent conceptions of the laws of the universe, and flowing in the stream of destiny in confronting and fighting the enemies in defence of the Moslems and Islamic civilization and sacred sites, the first among which is the Aqsa Mosque, urges the Arab and Islamic peoples, their governments, popular and official groupings, to fear Allah where their view of the Islamic Resistance Movement and their dealings with it are concerned. They should back and support it, as Allah wants them to, extending to it more and more funds till Allah’s purpose is achieved when ranks will close up, fighters join other fighters and masses everywhere in the Islamic world will come forward in response to the call of duty while loudly proclaiming: Hail to Jihad. Their cry will reach the heavens and will go on being resounded until liberation is achieved, the invaders vanquished and Allah’s victory comes about.

“And Allah will certainly assist him who shall be on his side: for Allah is strong and mighty.” (The Pilgrimage – verse 40).

Hamas truly believes it is acting at the direction of Allah and that all Muslims around the world are duty-bound to supply “more and more funds” and other support “while loudly proclaiming ‘Hail to Jihad’” until “Allah’s purpose is achieved,” defined as being when “liberation is achieved [and] the invaders [are] vanquished.” For Hamas, defeating Jews is an Islamic religious calling and therefore not subject to compromise nor question.

And the Palestinian Arabs elected Hamas to 58% of the parliament with this charter, the United Nations pushes for Hamas to be part of a unity government, and the media talks of “Islamic resistance” as a peaceful and natural endeavor.

Hamas Charter, Article 32

Nothing sums up the deep Jew-hatred of members of Hamas as Article 32 of their charter.

“The Attempt to Isolate the Palestinian People:

Article Thirty-Two:

World Zionism, together with imperialistic powers, try through a studied plan and an intelligent strategy to remove one Arab state after another from the circle of struggle against Zionism, in order to have it finally face the Palestinian people only. Egypt was, to a great extent, removed from the circle of the struggle, through the treacherous Camp David Agreement. They are trying to draw other Arab countries into similar agreements and to bring them outside the circle of struggle.

The Islamic Resistance Movement calls on Arab and Islamic nations to take up the line of serious and persevering action to prevent the success of this horrendous plan, to warn the people of the danger eminating from leaving the circle of struggle against Zionism. Today it is Palestine, tomorrow it will be one country or another. The Zionist plan is limitless. After Palestine, the Zionists aspire to expand from the Nile to the Euphrates. When they will have digested the region they overtook, they will aspire to further expansion, and so on. Their plan is embodied in the “Protocols of the Elders of Zion”, and their present conduct is the best proof of what we are saying.

Leaving the circle of struggle with Zionism is high treason, and cursed be he who does that. “for whoso shall turn his back unto them on that day, unless he turneth aside to fight, or retreateth to another party of the faithful, shall draw on himself the indignation of Allah, and his abode shall be hell; an ill journey shall it be thither.” (The Spoils – verse 16). There is no way out except by concentrating all powers and energies to face this Nazi, vicious Tatar invasion. The alternative is loss of one’s country, the dispersion of citizens, the spread of vice on earth and the destruction of religious values. Let every person know that he is responsible before Allah, for “the doer of the slightest good deed is rewarded in like, and the does of the slightest evil deed is also rewarded in like.”

The Islamic Resistance Movement consider itself to be the spearhead of the circle of struggle with world Zionism and a step on the road. The Movement adds its efforts to the efforts of all those who are active in the Palestinian arena. Arab and Islamic Peoples should augment by further steps on their part; Islamic groupings all over the Arab world should also do the same, since all of these are the best-equipped for the future role in the fight with the warmongering Jews.

“..and we have put enmity and hatred between them, until the day of resurrection. So often as they shall kindle a fire of war, Allah shall extinguish it; and they shall set their minds to act corruptly in the earth, but Allah loveth not the corrupt doers.” (The Table – verse 64).”

For Hamas, the “struggle with world Zionism” is a “fight with the warmongering Jews.” The Palestinian antisemites believe wholeheartedly in the forgery the “Protocols of the Elders of Zion” as its charter states that the “Zionist plan is limitless. After Palestine, the Zionists aspire to expand from the Nile to the Euphrates. When they will have digested the region they overtook, they will aspire to further expansion, and so on.” The charter calls the Jews Nazisto cement the insult that they are the same as those who slaughtered them.

And this movement is given succor. International lawyers like Hiba Husseini get onto panels at the United Nations and repeat the Hamas bile that “the Zionist idea to dominate the area from the Nile to the Euphrates was well known.” Former US President Jimmy Carter said Hamas should be given “legitimacy as a political actor, as it “represents a substantial portion of the Palestinian people.” The international community wants Hamas to be part of a unity government.

Hamas represents 58% of the Palestinian parliament and a poll of Palestinians in June 2020 concluded that Hamas would beat Fatah if presidential elections were to be held. It cannot be a coincidence that and ADL poll concluded that the Arabs in the West Bank and Gaza are the most antisemitic on the planet.
