On October 7, 2023, thousands of Palestinian Arabs stormed the barrier separating Gaza from Israel, butchering and killing roughly 1,200 people and taking another 240 captive. It is estimated that eight Americans remain among the 136 hostages still held at this time by the Hamas political-terrorist party and possibly other groups. As many as 50 of the hostages may have already been killed.
The United States is working with regional players including Qatar and Egypt to negotiate a release of the 136 hostages, and proposals for the exchange have included hundreds of Palestinian terrorists held in Israeli jails alongside a pause in the fighting. Thus far, no one has publicly mentioned infamous Palestinian assassin Sirhan Sirhan as part of the exchange.
Sirhan Sirhan shot and killed Senator Robert F. Kennedy, brother of President John F. Kennedy, on June 5, 1967, the one year anniversary of the 1967 Arab-Israeli War. He killed Kennedy because of the senator’s strong support for Israel and had written before the murder “RFK must die. RFK must be killed. Robert F. Kennedy must be assassinated.”
Senator Robert Kennedy shot by Palestinian terrorist Sirhan Sirhan on June 5, 1968
Sirhan Sirhan was handed the death sentence in 1969 which was later commuted to a life sentence. He has repeatedly tried to get released but has been denied parole each time, the last one, his sixteenth attempt, in March 2023. California Governor Gavin Newsom said of Sirhan that “his release on parole would pose a threat to public safety…. He cannot be safely released from prison because he has not mitigated his risk of fomenting further political violence.”
Israel knows full well about the danger of releasing politically-driven murderers: the mastermind of the October 7 massacre, Yahya Sinwar, was released from Israeli jails in 2011 along with 1,000 other Palestinian prisoners for a single Israeli soldier, Gilad Shalit.
The Biden Administration is actively attempting to coax a Hamas-Israeli deal which could release dangerous Palestinian Arab murderers of Israelis. It remains to be seen if America will similarly release a known Palestinian killer of an American senator to free American civilians taken hostage into Gaza.
Sirhan’s release would be a cause for huge celebration among Palestinians, and it’s likely that public squares would get named for him. He might even become the next president of the Palestinian Authority, just so Palestinian Arabs could shove a middle finger into the heart of American consciousness.
There are deeply red and deeply blue congressional districts throughout the United States. In those districts where either Joe Biden or Donald Trump won by a 30% spread, it is likely that the member of congress from that seat will be highly partisan.
It is not always the case. Passions surrounding Trump may not always correlate to the general political leanings of a district. In New York State for example, the presidential partisan spread in a district did not always correlate with the extremist voting records of the associated members of congress.
Cook PVI analyzes the partisan spread in a district. Voting record from Lugar Center
As seen on the table above, some districts were very strongly democratic like NY8 (D+26) but elected a fairly moderate Democrat, Hakeem Jeffries, who had partisan voting record of about zero, a very balanced score which showed a spirit of bipartisanship. The same could be said of Jerry Nadler in NY12 whose district had a Cook PVI score of D+34 but Nadler’s voting record was -0.27, showing definite Democratic leaning but not an extremist.
The real outlier was NY16 with a Democratic-leaning district of D+20, the lowest of those highlighted above, showing a much more moderate populace. However, the district was represented by a left-wing extremist, Jamaal Bowman, with a -1.436 score, showing a complete rejection of bipartisanship and cooperation (barely surpassed by the queen of the squad, AOC).
New York’s District 16 will almost certainly elect a Democrat, with a ranking of D+20. The moderate Democrats, Independents and Republicans in the district understand this and want to rid the district of the left-wing extremist that currently represents them, Jamaal Bowman. Independents and Republicans are rushing to change their registration to the Democratic Party by the February 14th deadline so as to vote for a more moderate member for congress, Westchester County Executive George Latimer.
A new group called Westchester Unites opened an office on 1297 North Ave. in New Rochelle to help facilitate this change in registration. It has run a banner “antisemitism is on the ballot” because of the highly inflammatory rhetoric of Rep. Bowman against Jews and the Jewish State. While the site doesn’t specifically mention Bowman by name, his horrible reputation is well known.
The grassroot group has been effective at not only getting people registered as Democrats but to donate to the Latimer campaign. According to an analysis by local media outlet LoHud, Latimer secured 73% of his donations from people within his district while Bowman only had a paltry 9% coming from locals, showing his money is coming from extremists outside of the county.
Those same left-wing extremists backing Bowman have accused the district’s activists of creating “DINOs” meaning Democrats in Name Only. They argue that groups like Westchester Unites are gaming the system and changing the nature of the primaries.
That is because the DINOs are realists who understand that the political system is broken. The handful of people who vote in primaries really decide elections in deeply partisan districts, not the general elections in November. Further, elections favor incumbents who win endorsements from fellow incumbents in a game of self-preservation which has nothing to do with the quality of the person in office.
Despite Bowman’s incumbency, Latimer has continued to rack up endorsements of many Democratic committees in Westchester including Eastchester, Mamaroneck, Pelham, Rye, Scarsdale and White Plains. It’s quite a victory and vote of confidence for Latimer and a harsh rebuke of Bowman, who was censured by a bipartisan congress in December 2023.
The deadline for changing party is February 14, and people in Westchester County, NY are proudly becoming DINOs to rid themselves of their toxic current congressman and replace him in the primary with George Latimer.
The United States House of Representatives overwhelmingly approved H.R. 6679 called the “No Immigration Benefits for Hamas Terrorists Act” on January 31, 2024. There were only two people who voted no, members of the alt-left Rep. Cori Bush (D-MO) and Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI).
The resolution amended a law about “inadmissible aliens” to add members of Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad to the already sanctioned Palestinian Liberation Organization. It also specifically called out people surrounding the sadistic October 7 massacre in Israel:
“Any alien who carried out, participated in, planned, financed, afforded material support to, or otherwise facilitated any of the attacks against Israel initiated by Hamas beginning on October 7, 2023, is inadmissible.” There are six actions flagged related to the October 7 attacks:
carried out
participated in
planned
financed
afforded material support to
facilitated
The first two activities required people to have been at the scene of the savagery. It includes an estimated 3,000 Palestinian Arabs including members of Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad, ordinary Palestinian Arabs, members of UNRWA and journalists.
The other four actions cited include people from around the world, including the United States. People who sent money to Hamas such as government officials in Turkey and Qatar would be banned from America. Those in the United Nations who facilitated Hamas’s storing of weapons and building tunnels underneath the schools and hospitals would be barred. Those “humanitarian” agencies from Norway and Sweden which worked in Gaza and looked the other way or simply winked as Hamas established its terrorist infrastructure would have entry to the USA forbidden.
And in the United States, it would likely include many people, including university professors and college activists who are not U.S. citizens.
The resolution is not only about the hours of the October 7 massacre, but “any of the attacks”… “beginning on October 7,” which include the ongoing psychological, political and physical war Hamas and its allies are waging against Zionists everywhere.
Groups like Students for Justice in Palestine on university campuses are providing “material support to” Hamas and its genocidal aims of ridding Zionists everywhere. Non-American social media influencers and protesters who call for the eradication of the Jewish State “by any means necessary” could be deported.
Members of the jihadi group Students for Justice in Palestine marching in New York City
Questions remain as to how the law, if passed by the Senate, would be enforced. Would a non-American citizen calling for an immediate ceasefire to protect Hamas be sufficient grounds for deportation? What about ripping down posters of Jewish hostages to help people remember the ongoing Hamas atrocities? Or those entering congressional hearings shouting support for Hamas and denouncing Israel?
Hamas’s war is definitely ongoing. The question as to what constitutes “material support” for the Palestinian war against Jews and the Jewish State will be determined by the courts as situations arise.
The physical war against Israel is being fought there by Hamas and PIJ, while around the world, many aliens are providing the terrorist groups material support and are attempting to deny Zionists basic freedoms. American politicians have taken notice and have put non-citizens on notice.
Rep. Jamaal Bowman, the two term far-left extremist now serving New York’s 16th Congressional District touts himself as pushing for “good trouble.” As he launched his reelection campaign this week, he made very clear that it means war with supporters of Israel.
Bowman yelled to his crowd about the pro-Israel lobbying group that “AIPAC is one of the most powerful lobbies in America. Well you know what we have got to say to AIPAC? Bring it on, y’all. AIPAC, bring it on, y’all! We are not scared of none of that! I’m from the streets of New York…. I was a middle school principal. Taught kids in the South Bronx. Hey y’all, this is New York.AIPAC, we’re ready for all of that. If you wanna support a corporate career corrupt pay-to-play politician, you go ahead and do that…. Our movement is much more powerful than they can even imagine!“
The reelection event included a handful of other speakers including Nada Khader, Executive Director of the WESPAC Foundation, a highly controversial organization. The Anti Defamation League has flagged WESPAC for funding a range of antisemitic and anti-Israel organizations including the International Jewish Anti-Zionist Network, Palestinian Youth Movement, US Palestinian Community Network, and Within Our Lifetime. Those organizations have become infamous for many violent incidents since the October 7 Hamas massacres.
Immediately after the October 7 atrocities, USPCN issued a statement which called the brutal massacre “self-defense operations,” and that “today’s attacks from the Palestinian Resistance should be understood as a legitimate response to unending violence from Israel’s extreme right-wing, racist, white supremacist, zionist government and settler movement.” According to ADL, “At a USPCN rally on October 18, a protester held a sign with paraglider imagery, reading, ‘We will redeem you, oh Palestine.’ Paraglider imagery has been popular because some of the Hamas terrorists used paragliders to invade Israel. At the same rally, another prominent sign was seen reading ‘Zionism racism,’ with an image of blood and dollar bills in the shape of a snake.”
ADL adds that “Within Our Lifetime-United for Palestine (WOL) is a radical New York-based anti-Israel organization led by Nerdeen Kiswani that routinely expresses support for violence against Israel. Kiswani has called for all “Zionists” to be vilified and expelled from community spaces, and both she and WOL explicitly call for the complete eradication of Israel, including for Israel to be “wiped off the map.” After the October 7 massacre, WOL posted “We must defend the Palestinian right to resist zionist [sic] settler violence and support Palestinian resistance in all its forms. By any means necessary. With no exceptions and no fine print.”
Palestinian Youth Movement has long plastered posters of a Palestinian takeover of Israel through the blood of “martyrs.” At a protest after the October 7 slaughter, one member of PYM suggested that the Israel-Hamas war will come to New York, “We want to show the world that when Palestine rises up in resistance, the diaspora rises with it.”
Members of WESPAC-backed PYM affix billboards of “Glory to Our Martyrs” poster covering the entirety of Israel in New York.
The theme of threatening Jews in Israel and the diaspora echoed at the Bowman event.
Khader said to a roaring crowd and an applauding Bowman (29:10) “You [Israeli Jews] get safety when Palestinians are free. You get safety when Palestinians have equality. You get safety when Palestinians have self-determination. And we have the right of return to our homeland!” In other words, Hamas’s actions in Israel on October 7 were justified because even though Gazans have self-determination, they still live in Gaza, and as long as they don’t get to move into Israeli towns where grandparents lived decades ago, they will continue to hunt down, rape, burn and brutalize Jews.
Nada Khader of WESPAC threatening Jews with more attacks if Palestinians do not get to move into Israel, with Rep. Jamaal Bowman cheering “Free Palestine”
This event was not an outlier.
Just a few nights earlier, Bowman spoke at a rally with noted anti-Zionist Norman Finkelstein who had said “Israel has no legal right to use any kind of force in Gaza — under any circumstances.” Bowman said he watched Finkelstein all of the time on YouTube and was “a bit starstruck” to be with him.
While Bowman continues to rail against AIPAC and aligns himself with a host of people who believe that all Zionists should be subject to attack, he claims that he’s for love and peace in a weak attempt to shield him from charges of antisemitism. He contemporaneously falsely claims that AIPAC is racist and targets people of color, as the best defensive is a good offense. Fellow squad member Alexandria Ocasio Cortes echoes her socialist comrade and said that AIPAC is “more racist and bigoted PACs in Congress as well, who disproportionately target members of color.” It’s a complete lie and attempt to divert attention from an extremist member of congress who was censured in a bipartisan vote.
The truth is that AIPAC backs many people of color including Rep. Ritchie Torres (D-NY15) in the neighboring district and Rep. Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY8). Many others include Gabe Amo (D-RI1), Nanette Barragán (D-CA44), Joyce Beatty (D-OH3) and Shontel Brown (D-OH11) to name a few.
Bowman’s anti-Israel vitriol and associations have become so aggressive that even far left-wing group J Street has pulled its endorsement of him after saying it would not do so a few weeks ago.
Bowman’s rants have made the Jewish constituents fearful. Just hours after his challenge to brawl with AIPAC, someone defaced two Jewish stores in Scarsdale, including an ice cream store frequented by teenagers. Latimer showed up to a rally at the store a few hours later. He came to the Westchester Jewish Council dinner a few days later, standing before a diverse multi-racial, multi-ethnic, multi-religious assembly of local politicians and told the audience over and again “you are not alone.”

Bowman did not attend the rally confronting the vandalism. He did not attend the WJC dinner.
New York’s Congressional District 16 has many Jews and Israel supporters who are angry and frightened by Bowman’s bellicosity. There are dozens of reasons and tens of thousands of people who want Bowman out of congress and hope to achieve that in the 2024 Democratic primary by backing George Latimer.
Winter temperatures can drop to freezing in many parts of the world. When one factors in the strong winds that often accompany bad weather, the “real feel” temperature is often much lower. The wind chill effect is caused by the wind blowing the natural heat that our body generates to further lower our external body temperature, and over time, our internal temperature.
The same happens with antisemitic attacks and antisemitic vitriol.
Jews have always been the most targeted group of hate crimes according to FBI Hate Crime statistics, more than Blacks, LGBTQ and Muslim communities. An average Jew in the United States is six times more likely to suffer a hate crime than an average Arab.
“This is just the beginning y’all, this is just the beginning… AIPAC is one of the most powerful lobbies in America. Well you know what we have got to say to AIPAC? Bring it on, y’all. AIPAC, bring it on, y’all! We are not scared of none of that! I’m from the streets of New York…. I was a middle school principal. Taught kids in the South Bronx. Hey y’all, this is New York. AIPAC, we’re ready for all of that. If you wanna support a corporate career corrupt pay-to-play politician, you go ahead and do that…. Our movement is much more powerful than they can even imagine!“
After blowhard-Bowman chillingly called his own constituents “they” as if they were and not Americans and New Yorkers, and frighteningly challenged local Jews essentially to a rumble as if we were living in West Side Story, the cold acts of hate hit Jewish stores.
Just a few hours later, at around 3:45am according to video cameras, a woman painted graffiti on a couple of Jewish-owned stores in Scarsdale, in Bowman’s district.
“Genocide Supporters” painted on storefronts of Jewish-owned stores
Word spread quickly in the Jewish community.
Hundreds of Jews came to the scene by 4:00pm, to support the Scoop Shop ice cream store and hear from politicians such as Westchester County Executive George Latimer who is running in the Democratic primary against Bowman, and State Assemblywoman Amy Paulin. Both told the crowd that while there is free speech, it has consequences and Westchester stands united against vitriol and hate of any kind.

Jamaal Bowman has long made a reputation in congress as a toxic race-baiter. He accused Republicans of being too White and “lack[ing] the cognitive and emotional ability to recognize diverse opinions, when they talk truth to power.” He similarly thinks that a lobbying group made principally of Jews has too much power which must be railed against, even though he’s backed by a much more powerful lobbying arm, the teachers’ unions.
The antisemitic wind chill of Bowman’s caustic remarks and screaming challenge against the Jewish community hung in the air more than the sting of the vandalism.
Jews in Westchester closed ranks for warmth and comfort, and used the opportunity to get people to register to vote as they supported the victimized ice cream store and prayed the mincha service in the parking lot. The antisemitic wind chill felt less biting as they huddled and considered how they live in a time and place where an antisemitic storm can descend quickly with a toxic hail of words and actions.
By no means a natural storm. A storm manufactured and directed by their current governmental representative, Jamaal Bowman.

Rep. Jamaal Bowman, the far-left wing representative of lower Westchester County in New York State, has an interesting tactic of seeking reelection to serve in the United States Congress: to lambast America and its allies.
Bowman spoke in Yonkers last week alongside noted anti-Zionist Norman Finkelstein. Bowman said that Americans had been fed lies about what was going on in Israel for 75 years and Finkelstein and other Arab leaders were going to give the audience their versions of “the truth.”
Seemingly not satisfied with the applause of demonizing the Jewish State and excusing the long history of Arab rejectionism of coexistence and support of Hamas and the atrocities it committed on October 7, Bowman railed against the United States:
“We have told ourselves in this country the myth of American exceptionalism which excuses us from our moral responsibility – not just in Gaza and Palestine – but right here in the U.S. The reason why we continue to incarcerate Black and Brown people at the highest rates in the world is because of the lie of American exceptionalism, that’s rooted in racism and bigotry and discrimination. And it’s that lie, that myth that allows us to ignore and look the other way, while being complicit in the mass murder and mass starvation of the people of Gaza.”
Rep. Jamaal Bowman lambasting the United States as “rooted in racism, bigotry and discrimination” at event in Yonkers to discuss the Israel-Palestinian conflict from a Hamas point of view
Bowman echoed the narrative of his apparent mentors in the Islamic Republic of Iran. In November 2020, Iranian President Hassan Rouhani said American leaders are “not committed to any principles, neither human principles, nor human rights, nor international law and regulations.”
Rouhani’s successor, President Ebrahim Raisi said much the same in October 2022 that “the remarks of the American president [Joe Biden] – who is inciting chaos, terror and the destruction of another country – serve as a reminder of the eternal words of the founder of the Islamic Republic who called America the Great Satan. The enemy’s plot must be countered.”
Bowman is a proud member of the alt-left “squad” that demonizes America and its allies, capitalism and the economy, as well as the police and courts, all in favor of a massively destructive redistribution of wealth from non-Black people to Blacks. He is anchoring his reelection campaign by bonding Hamas supporters with Hamas apologists, in a terrifying display of antisemitic socialist rage to the praise of the Iranian regime.
Rep. Jamaal Bowman (D-NY16) is in for a tough fight to keep his seat as a congressman as a fellow progressive with significant experience is running against him in the Democratic primary. For some reason, Bowman’s strategy is to paint Westchester County Executive George Latimer as a White MAGA racist which is completely absurd. At the same time, Bowman is showing his true colors by whitewashing the terrible spike in antisemitism in New York, particularly stemming from attacks by non-White people.
Screenshot from Jamaal Bowman’s reelection website
Bowman’s website discusses a variety of hate crimes “since Trump was elected,” including against the Jewish, Muslim, Asian and Black communities. However, he only highlights one group of perpetrator of the attacks: White people.
At four different times, Bowman’s site highlighted “a white nationalist” killing Jews in Pittsburgh, “a white man” killing Muslims in North Carolina, and issues surrounding “white nationalism” and “white supremacist extremism.” At no time did he flag hate crimes and murders committed by Muslims or Blacks.
Bowman declined to mention several Black people killing Jews in Jersey City in 2019 or a Black man hacking a rabbi to death in Monsey, NY that same month. Or the dozens of attacks against Jews in New York City by minorities. He failed to highlight the near lynching of Joseph Borgen by a gang of five Muslim men in the middle of the day on the streets of Manhattan in 2021. He deliberately avoided mentioning the calls to kill Jews and harassment of Jews by Muslims over the past three months, with 34 antisemitic incidents per day according to the ADL.
Mahmoud Musa and four other Muslim men nearly killed an unarmed Joseph Borgen in Manhattan
In trying to appear balanced between Jews and Muslims, Bowman’s website says he pushed “a resolution that declared the value of both Palestinian and Israeli lives, urged an immediate ceasefire and encouraged diplomatic efforts.” That resolution was put forward in the week immediately after Palestinian Arabs sadistically butchered 1,200 people in Israel on October 7, essentially granting Hamas and other Arab terrorists immunity from justice. The resolution did not only fail to condemn Hamas, it did not call for a release of the 240 hostages. Instead, it called out humanitarian aid for Gaza.
Jamaal Bowman has long peppered his career in Washington with race-baiting. Now he taunts Jews that he is only concerned for their well-being when perpetrators are White racists, prioritizing Blacks and Muslims over Jews, as antisemitism spikes to alarming levels.
U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken made the rounds around the Muslim Middle East and Israel to declare that everyone in the region wants to avoid seeing the Israel-Palestinian War from Gaza spiraling into a regional conflict.
He is completely wrong. It is very much a regional conflict with Iran, and the region wants the Iranian threat addressed.
Secretary Antony Blinken’s X post that countries want the conflict contained
Iran has been actively stoking the conflict for years. The Islamist regime has backed the Houthis in Yemen stoking a civil war there, a war against Saudi Arabia next door, and assaulting shipping in the Red Sea. Iran backs Hezbollah in Lebanon which is shelling Israel. It is also one of the main backers of Hamas in Gaza which launched the sadistic atrocities of October 7.
The United States was on the cusp of brokering a deal with Saudi Arabia before October 7, which would have included the United States bringing the oil-rich nation nuclear capabilities, as the U.S. utterly failed to contain Iran’s nuclear program. Saudi Arabia had long made clear that if Iran got nuclear weapons, it would pursue them as well. The U.S. decided to make the best of a horrific situation, and rather than watch the Saudis secure nuclear blueprints and material from North Korea, it offered to supply the Islamist kingdom with the know-how, provided that the kingdom also normalize relations with Israel.
Iran’s nuclear break-out led directly to Saudi’s launching a nuclear program with America’s assistance.
When Israel called up a fighting force of roughly 350,000 people after October 7, it sent 200,000 of them to the Lebanese border, not Gaza. Roughly 100,000 were stationed around the West Bank to contain the various Hamas-allied terrorist groups like Lion’s Den and Jenin Brigades. The smallest segment went to Gaza.
Similarly, Israel did not only evacuate Israeli civilians from the entire area near Gaza on October 8. It also pulled all civilians away from the Lebanese border.
Israel readied for war on many fronts, not just Gaza, to confront Iranian proxies on every side.
Many Israeli military leaders are pushing to launch the battle against Hezbollah in Lebanon now, while 200,000 troops are stationed at the border and the civilians in the region have been evacuated south. They argue that the Iranian proxy with 150,000 missiles pointed at Israel is a threat which must be dealt with proactively and not according to Iran’s timetable.
This war started from Gaza but the conflict centers around Iran. Blinken may believe that the conflict is local and to be contained as he broadcast, or perhaps – hopefully – he toured the region to prepare for destroying Iran’s nuclear weapons in the very near future.
Rep. Jamaal Bowman is an embarrassment for residents of New York’s 16th congressional district. A repeat liar and hypocrite as well as notorious race baiter, he has been censured by a bipartisan vote in congress for his shenanigans.
But, as a member of the far left-wing “Squad”, he and his powerful allies are trying their best to make him look like a vulnerable Black man being set upon by the powerful Jewish lobby, rather than a radical whom his constituents want to purge.
Consider the far-left wing site Common Dreams. They wrote an article that made it sound like the Israeli government is backing his competitor, George Latimer. “After visiting Israel last week, Westchester County Executive George Latimer on Monday filed paperwork to launch a primary challenge against Democratic New York Congressman Jamaal Bowman, a critic of the Israeli government and its devastating war on the Gaza Strip.”
That’s completely misleading. Latimer had been considering this run for office for a year and just made the announcement after a trip to Israel he took with other politicians from Westchester County where he serves as County Executive.
The anti-Israel left-wing extremist site DemocracyNow ran a piece “AIPAC Throws Millions at Possible Insurgent Campaigns to Unseat Progressive Democrats,” and highlighted “Westchester County Executive George Latimer, who has been courted by AIPAC, announced earlier today he is launching a primary challenge against New York Congressmember Jamaal Bowman.”
That’s also a lie. The people of Westchester County have been looking for someone to replace Bowman whom they feel is unfit to serve in congress for dozens of reasons. This was not an AIPAC-led recruitment.
While that may be partially true, there are thousands of ordinary working class people who support Latimer and want to see Bowman replaced.
Left-wing British paper The Guardiancalled attacks on Bowman as stemming from racism, “another attempt to silence a person of colour.” Yonkers Times echoed the theme offering “Latimer is a 70-year-old white man, while Bowman is a 47-year-old black man. Some progressive democrats in Westchester have questioned Latimer’s attempt to run against an incumbent black democratic congressman.”
That’s outrageous and without any merit. Bowman’s actions are the focus of attempts to remove him from office, not the color of his skin.
Westchester County Executive George Latimer (left), Rep. Jamaal Bowman (right)
The far left-wing is so intent on keeping an unpopular left-wing Squad extremist in office, that it is falsely maligning an experienced progressive politician as a powerful, white racist backed by billionaires and the government of Israel.
That says much more about the negative opinions of the far-left about Whites, Jews and Israel, than it does about the popular progressive George Latimer.
J Street, the far left-wing pro-Palestinian group which markets itself as pro-Israel pushed the Obama Administration in 2016 to label Jews living east of the Green Line (EGL) as illegal settlers at the United Nations. That action laid the foundation for a rash of anti-Israel measures around the world.
Now, after the October 7 massacre in Israel, J Street is once again pushing the United States to stop protecting Israel at the UN Security Council.
On December 21, 2023, J Street issued a press release with four goals: 1) to pause fighting to enable Hamas to rearm; 2) get the US to “stop vetoing Security Council resolutions related to the conflict“, so more global pressure can come down on Israel; 3) get “an American commitment to recognition of Palestinian statehood” since Palestinians have clearly shown they are decent and responsible actors; and 4) put in place “strict oversight and scrutiny of arms” purchased by Israel, because J Street is convinced that conditioning aid to Israel while Iran and its proxies pursue a genocide of Jews is critical right now.
J Street;s Jeremy Ben Ami
The release concluded: “We urge the Biden administration to take immediate action to ensure that the Israeli government significantly shifts course before this conflict costs more lives and wreaks more pain and devastation. The way the current campaign is being pursued only jeopardizes Israel’s efforts to defeat Hamas and secure the release of the hostages – while laying the groundwork for even deeper, long-term security challenges.”
No such calls for “immediate action” by the US and others to pressure Hamas. J Street called for only Israel to be pressured.
Students for Justice in Palestine at Tufts wrote in March 2022 “that many Jewish people begin their anti-zionist political journey through J Street U,” J Street’s university division. The anti-Israel community knows that the woke Jewish group is a tool for young and old people in America to find their anti-Israel bona fides, to change America’s pro-Israel positions.
The United States is Israel’s sole supporting voice at the United Nations and J Street is doing its utmost to weaken that voice, just as Iran and Hamas desire.
